Abstract

The rapid digital transformation within the energy sector has increased organizational dependence on data-driven decision-making, where managerial effectiveness is shaped not only by technological capability but also by psychological readiness and leadership support. This study examines the influence of big data analytics competence and transformational leadership on managerial self-efficacy in data-driven decision-making. A quantitative explanatory design was applied, involving 72 managerial employees selected through total sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires with a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression in SPSS version 26. The results show that big data analytics competence has a positive and significant effect on managerial self-efficacy (β=0.221; p=0.003), whereas transformational leadership has a stronger positive influence (β=0.682; p<0.001). Simultaneously, both variables significantly explained managerial self-efficacy (R²=0.681; F=72.541; p<0.001). The study concludes that both factors enhance managerial self-efficacy, with transformational leadership being the more dominant factor. However, this study is limited by its single-organization context and cross-sectional design. Theoretically, this study integrates the Resource-Based View and Social Cognitive Theory, while practically, it emphasizes the need to strengthen analytical competence and transformational leadership to improve data-driven decision-making.

Abstract

Hazardous waste management on Floating Production, Storage, And Offloading (FPSO) vessels is a critical issue owing to strict regulations, operational isolation, and limited storage capacity. This study examined whether demographic, human capital, and organizational factors influence employee compliance in FPSO in Indonesian waters. A cross-sectional survey and structured observation were conducted among 90 workers, and the data were analyzed using ordinal logistic regression. The results show that competency certification significantly predicts compliance (OR=0.06, p=0.044), while environmental education has a marginal effect (OR=0.10, p=0.086). The other factors were not significant. These findings indicate that certification and environmental learning are more influential than demographic or job-related factors are. This study contributes to the offshore Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) literature by extending human capital theory on compliance behavior. Practically, this emphasizes the need to strengthen certification and environmental training. However, limitations include the single-site, cross-sectional design and potential response bias, which may limit generalizability.

Abstract

Homegarden agroforestry represents an alternative land-use system with the Homegarden agroforestry is a land-use system surrounding residential areas that integrates various types of plants, including forestry species, food crops, horticultural plants, and medicinal plants within a single household-based management unit. This system is characterized by high plant diversity and a multi-strata structure resembling a forest ecosystem, functioning to meet household food needs, increase income, and maintain environmental sustainability. The increasing pressure on the Wan Abdul Rachman Grand Forest Park area due to community activities in utilizing forest resources has prompted the need to evaluate the sustainability of homegarden agroforestry systems as a community-based conservation strategy. This study aims to analyze the sustainability status of homegarden agroforestry and to formulate development strategies to reduce community dependence on forest resources. The research was conducted from January to March 2026 in Cilimus Village, Pesawaran Regency, using a quantitative approach through the Rapid Appraisal for Agroforestry Systems (RAP-AFS) method based on Multidimensional Scaling (MDS). Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and field observations involving 90 respondents. The analysis was carried out across five dimensions of homegarden agroforestry management, namely ecological, economic, social, institutional, and technological dimensions. The results indicate that the sustainability index of homegarden agroforestry in Gapoktanhut SHK Lestari is 65.50, which falls into the moderately sustainable category. Partially, the ecological (58.14), social (78.35), institutional (85.64), and technological (58.18) dimensions are classified as moderately to highly sustainable, while the economic dimension (47.17) is still categorized as less sustainable. These findings highlight the need for income diversification, improved market access, and the adoption of innovations to strengthen the socio-ecological resilience of the community. Furthermore, strengthening institutional capacity and implementing adaptive land management strategies through homegarden agroforestry are essential to support long-term sustainability and to reduce pressure on forest resources

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the sustainability of commercial crop-based agroforestry systems in Bogorejo Village, Lampung, using a Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) approach. A quantitative approach was used, involving 43 respondents, including farmers and stakeholders. Data were collected through surveys and interviews (October–November 2025) and analyzed using MDS with ordination and leverage techniques across the ecological, economic, social, institutional, and technological dimensions. The ecological dimension was highly sustainable (76.97), while the institutional (70.89), economic (64.84), technological (63.31), and social (56.02) dimensions were moderately sustainable. Sustainability is strongly influenced by deforestation, income trends, mutual cooperation, cooperative involvement, and fertilizer use. The sustainability of agroforestry systems depends on the interaction of ecological, economic, social, institutional, and technological factors, requiring adaptive management strategies focused on sensitive attributes. The study is limited to one village with a small sample size, which restricts generalization. It contributes by providing a multidimensional sustainability assessment and identifying key attributes for policy and sustainable agroforestry management in the region.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between Good Corporate Governance (GCG), financial statement quality, and corporate legal accountability from legal and accounting perspectives. This study is motivated by the importance of effective corporate governance as a tool for preventing financial statement manipulation and abuse of authority in corporate activities. This study uses normative legal research with a statutory and conceptual approach. Legal sources include legislation, legal doctrine, and scientific literature relevant to corporate governance and corporate criminal liability. The results indicate that the application of the principles of transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness in GCG plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of financial statements. Weaknesses in internal control systems and compliance culture have the potential to cause distortions in financial information and the risk of legal violations. The national legal framework recognizes corporations as subjects of criminal law through the doctrine of corporate criminal liability and legislative provisions. The principles of fiduciary duty and the theory of fault serve as the basis for determining the legal liability of corporate bodies. The integration of corporate governance, transparency in financial reporting, and consistent law enforcement forms the foundation for creating an integrity-driven and sustainable corporate system. Regulatory reforms, accompanied by strengthened internal oversight and professionalism of law enforcement officials, are necessary to reinforce the stability of the economic sector and enhance public trust.

Abstract

Budget deficits are a burden for local governments. They cannot rely solely on macro-level fiscal policy to alleviate this burden. A progressive fiscal decentralization policy to encourage capital expenditure with a high multiplier effect is needed. This research aims to present a financial innovation to contribute to Denpasar City's original regional revenue. The revenue source is waste, which has burdened both the government and the city's residents. The innovation, titled the Waste Financial Value Creation Model, has been successfully analyzed using a phenomenological approach. The results demonstrate the model's feasibility for implementation in Denpasar City. Further quantitative research is needed to generalize the model. The hope is to obtain tangible value for increasing Denpasar City's original regional revenue.

Abstract

This study aims to uncover the intellectual evolution and global dynamics of greenwashing practices in sustainability reporting and to identify shifts toward more technical detection mechanisms. The methodology used is a quantitative descriptive bibliometric approach to 174 Scopus-indexed journal articles from 2008 to 2026 through analysis of trends, citation networks, and conceptual structures. The results show that greenwashing has transformed from a marginal issue to a strategic topic with exponential growth since 2023, accompanied by a shift in focus from symbolic legitimacy to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) based transparency and disclosure. Furthermore, the integration of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing is beginning to be utilized to detect discrepancies between claims and actual performance. The study's conclusion confirms that greenwashing has developed into a systemic risk that impacts the credibility of sustainability reporting and financial market performance. The limitations of this study lie in the use of a single database and the lack of cross-sector empirical validation. The contribution of this study is to provide a comprehensive mapping of the trends, structure, and future directions of greenwashing research and provide a basis for the development of more adaptive policies and detection instruments.

Abstract

This study investigates whether supervisor communication and career development shape employee performance at PT XYZ directly and through job satisfaction. This study responds to the scarcity of evidence concerning routine supervisor-employee interactions and organizational career support in palm oil plantation and processing operations. The study employed an explanatory quantitative design and estimated the proposed relationships using partial least squares structural equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Responses from 67 employees were obtained through a structured five-point Likert questionnaire and processed using SmartPLS 4. Supervisor communication predicted employee performance (β =0.309) and job satisfaction (β =0.511), whereas career development predicted employee performance (β =0.232) and job satisfaction (β =0.430). Job satisfaction was associated with employee performance (β =0.455) and carried the effects of supervisor communication (β =0.232) and career development (β =0.195) on performance. The model accounted for 57.7% of the variance in job satisfaction and 70.2% in employee performance. Better supervisory communication and stronger career development practices are linked to higher performance through both direct pathways and employee satisfaction. The findings clarify the mediating function of job satisfaction in the palm oil plantation and processing context. PT XYZ should prioritize precise supervisory feedback, understandable work communication, and transparent career development procedures.

Abstract

This study investigates the factors associated with actual PLN Mobile use among customers of PT PLN (Persero) in South and Central Kalimantan. The proposed model links effort expectancy and social influence to behavioral intention and links facilitating conditions and behavioral intention to use behavior while treating age and gender as moderators. An explanatory quantitative survey was administered to 330 active PLN Mobile users in South and Central Kalimantan. Respondents were selected purposively, and the model was estimated using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling in SmartPLS 4. Effort expectancy and social influence were significant antecedents of behavioral intention, whereas facilitating conditions and behavioral intention significantly predicted the use behavior. Age and gender significantly changed the strength of the paths from effort expectancy and social influence to intention and from facilitating conditions to the use behavior. The model accounted for 66.4% and 88.6% of the variance in behavioral intention and use behavior, respectively. Actual PLN Mobile use is jointly associated with perceived ease, interpersonal and institutional encouragement, enabling resources, user intention, and demographic variation. This study broadens the application of UTAUT by concurrently assessing age and gender as boundary conditions in a mobile application for an essential public utility. The evidence is based on cross-sectional, self-reported responses from users within the Kalimantan Selatan–Tengah (Kalselteng) service area.

Abstract

This study examined the effects of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM), and hedonic value on the impulsive buying of Blind Box products among Generation Z, with self-control as a moderator. A quantitative survey of 385 Generation Z TikTok users in Bandung who had purchased Blind Box products was conducted from January to March 2026, yielding 385 valid responses (100% response rate), analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that FOMO (β=0.268, p<0.001), eWOM (β=0.323, p<0.001), and hedonic value (β=0.231, p < 0.001) positively and significantly influenced impulsive buying. Self-control also had a small but significant positive direct effect on impulsive buying (β=0.098, p=0.041) and positively moderated the relationships between FOMO, eWOM, and Hedonic Value with impulsive buying, revealing a paradoxical effect that contrasted with conventional assumptions about self-control. This study contributes to the development of the stimulus-organism-response theory and offers insights into consumer behavior in social commerce. The findings were limited to Generation Z consumers in Bandung and may not be generalized to other populations.
