Abstract

This study aims to analyze learning methods in the AIK learning process at STKIP Muhammadiyah Kalabahi and analyze the impact of the application of these methods. The learning methods used in learning must be adapted to the teaching material, and the media that will be used in learning must be able to make students more active in the learning process. With this learning method, it is hoped that teaching and learning activities can be carried out properly so that students can understand the material delivered by lecturers. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative type. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of AIK lecturers and students. The object of this research is in the form of learning methods in AIK education. The data collection process is done through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques begin with the processes of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the method used by lecturers so far is the lecture method, so that the learning process becomes passive because students are not given the opportunity to convey arguments according to what they understand. In addition to the impact of AIK learning methods, the qualifications of AIK lecturers who are not in accordance with the field of religious science, especially AIK, the lack of infrastructure in the form of the availability of religious and AIK references, and the unavailability of places of worship also have an impact on the non-achievement of the objectives of AIK education. The non-achievement of the objectives of AIK education can also be seen from student learning outcomes in the mid-term test. Out of twenty students who attended AIK lectures, only five scored up to standard.

This research is based on the unique phenomenon of the myth of rejecting marriage proposals in Madura, which reflects the complex dynamics between Islamic values and local culture. This study aims to explore the meaning and interpretation of the myth and understand the relationship between Islamic education and local culture in the context of rejecting marriage proposals. The research method is qualitative and hermeneutic perspective with an in-depth interview approach with religious and community leaders, document studies to analyze local literature, and participatory observation to gain a direct understanding of social and cultural norms. The results showed that the hereditary belief of the ancestors, believed by her descendants, was that if a girl rejected her first proposal, she was believed to be exposed to reinforcements, which meant that she would have difficulty in finding a mate. This is influenced by the social dynamics, culture, and religious values of Islam. These findings reveal thematic patterns that illustrate the complex interplay between religious values and local traditions, providing a deeper understanding of the norms that shape of rejecting marriage proposals rejection in Madura. Islamic education plays a crucial role in shaping the moral and ethical foundations that influence decisions regarding marriage. The integration of local religious and cultural values in Madura is also seen through myths and hereditary beliefs regarding the rejection of proposals.

Abstract

Student life is often colored by the dynamics of interpersonal relationships, especially for those in long distance relationships (LDR). This study aims to analyze the way interpersonal communication affects the quality of LDR relationships, focusing on the psychological dimensions of Islamic education.  The research methods are qualitative, paradigms and interpretive approaches to phenomenology. Data collection techniques, namely in-depth interviews. The results of this study show that interpersonal communication plays a key role in forming and maintaining LDR relationships of students who are undergoing KKN. Psychological factors such as self-confidence, empathy, and commitment to the values of Islamic Education also influence the dynamics of long-distance relationships. The implications of this research can be used as a basis for the development of educational and counseling programs that support students in managing their LDR relationships more effectively.  Some interpersonal communication strategies are effective in strengthening LDR relationships, such as the use of information technology, wise time management, and the inculcation of spiritual values in daily communication. The practical implications of these findings can be the basis for the development of practical guidance for students undergoing LDR, especially in the context of community service activities in the Islamic Education environment.

Abstract

The study of Total Quality Management (TQM) according to William Edward Deming's perspective is very important to carry out in order to find theoretical constructions for the application of Total Quality Management (TQM) in educational institutions. Implementation of Edward Deming's theory can be done by applying 14 points of management transformation. In an institution, especially education, planning is the main pioneer or spirit of the founding of an institution. This literature review of Edward Deming's planning model, apart from being widely used as references by institutions or companies in formulating programs, cannot be denied, also found several polemics that are important to study, starting from the Deming cycle, PDCA and PDSA. The purpose of this research is to find out William Edward Deming's planning model, especially in the field of education. This research uses a qualitative library research type approach. Data sources used as references in this research are books, websites, papers and scientific articles from various journals. The results of this research are that in general, William Edward Deming prioritizes anticipatory or preventive steps in quality improvement management. In line with that, it can be seen that Deming wants to convey that improving quality starts from the goal, making continuous improvements by focusing on education and training with the hope that activities run smoothly producing good quality.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the video criticism method on understanding morals in class IX MTs students. The type of research carried out was quantitative with an experimental method using a One Group Pretest and Post Test Design research design. The population in this study were all IX students of MTs Al Ittihadiyah Pangkalan Mansyur, with a sample selected using the Non Probability Sampling technique, namely class IX Ali, totaling 29 people. The data collection techniques used were pretest and posttest. The results of research using the IBM SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) v.25 data processing program show that the average (mean) post test score was 76.38, while the average (mean) pretest score was 44.14. With the highest pretest score of 55 and post test of 90, the difference in score obtained is 35 (90-55). This shows that the video criticism method is able to improve students' moral understanding very well. Based on the mean difference test with Paired Sample T-test analysis on IBM SPSS Statistics v.25, the sign value (2-tailed) = 0.00 was obtained which was compared with the calculated result of sign a = 0.05 with a confidence level of 95%. From the results of these calculations, the sign is 0.00 ≤ 0.05, which means that H_0 is rejected or H_1 is accepted. Thus, the average student post test score is higher than the average student pretest score.
