Abstract

The increasing demand for sustainable digital transformation in higher education requires governance models that are adaptive, flexible, and resilient. Traditional IT governance frameworks often lack the agility to respond to rapidly changing technological, institutional, and societal needs. This study explores the application of Agile IT Governance as a strategic approach to support sustainable digital transformation in universities. Using a mixed-methods design, the research combines a systematic literature review with empirical insights from case studies conducted in Indonesian universities. The findings reveal that Agile IT Governance enables faster decision-making, promotes stakeholder collaboration, and strengthens the alignment between institutional objectives and technological innovations. Furthermore, the study highlights the critical enablers of successful implementation, including leadership commitment, organizational culture, digital competencies, and adaptive policy frameworks. This research contributes to the theoretical advancement of IT governance by integrating agile principles into the context of higher education, while also providing practical recommendations for policymakers and university leaders seeking to ensure long-term digital sustainability.

Abstract

Teacher performance plays a crucial role in achieving learning objectives. This study will examine issues related to: (1) low work motivation among some teachers, which impacts the teaching and learning process; (2) low teacher performance; and (3) academic supervision has not been implemented in accordance with applicable supervision regulations. The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between academic supervision and work motivation with teacher performance at STATE HIGH SCHOOL 1 in Maesaan District, South Minahasa Regency. The method used in this study is a descriptive survey with a quantitative approach. The population is all teachers at STATE HIGH SCHOOL 1 in Maesaan District, South Minahasa Regency. The sample size is 47. The design used in this study was a correlation product-moment and multiple. Research Results is the correlation value (R) of 0.905 was found based on the interpretation table, which is in the range of 0.80-1.000. Thus, the strength of the relationship between academic supervision and work motivation on teacher performance is in the very strong category. As seen, the sig value is 0.000 <0.01, thus accepting Ha and rejecting H0 based on the test results, thus the hypothesis is supported. This means that if academic supervision and work motivation simultaneously improve, teacher performance will also improve. This is because, based on the research conducted, academic supervision and work motivation have a very strong relationship with teacher performance.

Abstract

Information technology (IT) governance has become a critical factor for higher education institutions in ensuring that digital investments align with strategic objectives while delivering long-term value. This study develops an integrated IT governance framework to design a sustainable information technology (IT) roadmap for Manado State University (UNIMA). Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research employed the TOGAF Architecture Development Method (ADM) and COBIT 2019 to analyze the current state of ICT, identify governance gaps, and formulate a roadmap. Data were collected through interviews, surveys, observations, and document analysis involving university leaders, faculty representatives, and IT staff. The findings indicate that UNIMA’s ICT infrastructure is fragmented, with limited integration across academic and administrative systems, an absence of a formal IT governance committee, and a lack of alignment between IT initiatives and institutional goals. The proposed roadmap is structured into three horizons: short-term (1–5 years), focusing on establishing governance structures and integrating basic systems; medium-term (6–15 years), emphasizing development of integrated applications for research, community service, and student services; and long-term (16–25 years), achieving full digital transformation toward an ICT-based campus supported by big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. This research contributes theoretically by contextualizing global IT governance models within Indonesian higher education and practically by providing a structured pathway for UNIMA’s digital transformation. The framework enhances institutional efficiency, strengthens academic and research competitiveness, and offers a scalable model for other universities pursuing sustainable ICT governance.

Abstract

The Animal Knowledge Application with Augmented Reality Technology is a learning support application on the theme of animals for early childhood. This application utilizes augmented reality technology, which displays a real environment combined with three-dimensional or two-dimensional virtual objects that are displayed in real-time. This research aims to build an Animal Knowledge Application with Augmented Reality Technology. This Animal Knowledge Application with Augmented Reality Technology uses the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method. The results of this study include animal recognition applications utilizing 3D objects, which employ mobile-based Augmented Reality technology on the Android operating system. These applications can display 3D animal objects, accompanied by audio explanations. Based on the results of application functionality testing, each function in the application runs according to the expected results. Application testing is also carried out on several devices, and the result of the test is that the application on the smartphone being tested can run smoothly according to features, and the appearance of the application adjusts to the resolution of every smartphone.

Abstract

E-Government, as a government policy aimed at achieving good governance, has been implemented by local governments with varying levels of success and has not met the expected goals. Among the various factors that contribute to this, one key factor is the competence of employees who utilize IT as a vital tool for e-government. This study was conducted to analyze the influence of attitudes, perceptions of ease of using IT, and perceptions of the benefits of using IT on IT acceptance. The study used a quantitative approach using explanatory research. The sampling technique employed was stratified proportional random sampling, with sample units or members comprising 95 out of 1930, specifically the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in Sitaro Islands Regency. The data collection technique was a questionnaire that had been tested and was valid and reliable. Data analysis was multiple regression. The results of the study revealed that attitudes, perceptions of ease of use, and perceptions of the benefits of using IT have a positive and significant effect on IT acceptance, both partially and simultaneously. For this reason, it is necessary to change the attitudes of IT users through their perceptions of IT being difficult to operate and its benefits or results not being much different from without using IT in the context of the public service process, must be changed to the opposite, namely, easy to operate and the results are more effective and efficient.

Abstract

The Minahasan culinary tradition represents a unique cultural asset of Indonesia, characterized by distinctive flavors, cooking techniques, and local ingredients. However, its competitiveness faces challenges in the digital era, including limited adoption of information technology, restricted access to digital markets, and growing competition from global franchises. This study aims to develop a competitive strategy model for Minahasan cuisine by integrating information technology to strengthen its sustainability and market positioning. Employing a sequential exploratory mixed-methods approach, qualitative data were collected through in-depth interviews with culinary entrepreneurs, industry experts, academics, and local government representatives, while quantitative data were obtained from surveys of entrepreneurs and consumers to assess technology adoption and competitiveness factors. Digital data from social media, online food delivery platforms, and Google Trends were analyzed to capture market dynamics. The findings reveal that digital marketing, product innovation, online platform optimization, and data-driven management are key factors enhancing competitiveness. The developed model integrates the Business Model Canvas, SWOT Analysis, and Blue Ocean Strategy, emphasizing three dimensions: product innovation, digital transformation in marketing, and ecosystem collaboration involving government, culinary associations, and tourism stakeholders. This model provides both academic contributions to the field of digital culinary business strategy and practical recommendations for policymakers and local entrepreneurs to leverage technology in sustaining and expanding Minahasan culinary heritage. The study concludes that embedding digital transformation within culture-based differentiation can generate a sustainable competitive advantage, enabling Minahasan cuisine to thrive in national and global markets
