Abstract

Buying and selling is a transaction carried out by two people by exchanging goods for other goods or goods for money. Currently, buying and selling transactions for imported used clothes are mushrooming in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of Islamic business ethics in Potvashion Sidoarjo. This study uses descriptive qualitative research using interview methods (interview). The research results show that buying and selling practices in Potvashion are carried out between sellers and buyers by mutual agreement. Sellers get used clothes through purchases at TP Pagi. Furthermore, before being marketed, the goods are sterilized first. This sale and purchase is reviewed from Islamic business ethics based on existing principles, everything is carried out well and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the sale and purchase and in accordance with Islamic business ethics

Abstract

In build a coffee shop business, business people often apply their marketing strategies without regard to Islamic business ethical values. At a well-known coffee shop, one of the coffee shop employees removes the customer's favorite menu to avoid order buildup. This study aims to determine the implementation of the marketing mix marketing strategy at Afterwork Caffeine coffee shops in Surabaya with the view of Islamic Business Ethics. The method used is descriptive qualitative research method with a field research approach, with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the research carried out that the implementation of the marketing mix marketing strategy at the Afterwork Caffeine coffee shop has been carried out by taking into account the seven marketing mix variables. The Afterwork Caffeine coffee shop has also implemented the values of Islamic business ethics which include monotheism, balance, free will, responsibility, and benevolence.

Abstract

Waqf is not just worship but if waqf is run properly, waqf has an important role such as improving the welfare of the people. The purpose of this research is to see the role of cash waqf management in improving the welfare of the people. The method used is qualitative with literature study analysis. The results obtained are that cash waqf has a role in improving the welfare of the people. Along with technological developments, cash waqf is managed and distributed in many ways. However. There are still waqifs who are still carrying out cash waqf activities through local institutions or foundations. The majority of the use of cash waqf is collected and managed to become productive waqf. There are productive waqf that are developed with entrepreneurship, training, vacant land management, education, agriculture, and plantations. The benefits and results of productive waqf are what can prosper the people and the results obtained can be distributed to other less fortunate communities.

Abstract

In consumptive behavior which greatly affects economic stability where later the greater the level of consumption, the greater the change in economic activity. For this reason, in student studies it is necessary to pay attention to consumption in Islamic teachings, where economic literacy has no influence on consumptive attitudes. So that someone is lightly interested in a product according to his interest in buying without considering the consequences or needs that are the priority of consumer actions. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of economic literacy in order to open up understanding and knowledge about economic descriptions so that they are free from consumptive attitudes. The type of research used is quantitative. The data source used by the researcher is a primary data source that comes directly from the research subject online via the Google form, so that later the results of the Google form data obtained are measured with a Likert scale. The population in this study are Islamic Economics, Islamic Banking, and Islamic Accounting Students who are Muslim and use the Shopeepay application. Based on the results of this study, variable X (Islamic economic literacy) has no effect on variable Y (consumptive behavior). , and vice versa, if Islamic Economics literacy is low, the consumptive attitude will be even greater.

Abstract

Limited access to finance and health is a major obstacle for the poor so that related to health problems during a pandemic, Islam has a solution through Islamic philanthropic institutions, one of which is waqf. Therefore, community contribution is needed through waqf. This is because in Islamic history the issue of waqf in the health sector has motivated many parties in all Muslim countries to reactivate waqf in the health sector. This article aims to find out the role of productive waqf in supporting health during a pandemic at Waqf Mandiri Surabaya. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a qualitative approach that is descriptive in which the author describes the Health waqf during a pandemic. The results of research on the role of productive waqf show that there is good cooperation between ZIS institutions and waqf institutions during a pandemic in supporting health. The distribution of waqf in the health sector has an impact on teachers or employees seeking treatment through health clinics. Also, the role of productive waqf has been implemented for medical staff at health centers and health workers at hospitals by providing multivitamins, personal protective equipment, and so on. Then, the Mandiri Waqf Health UKS was established with the Waqf and when students were sick they could seek free medical treatment at the UKS with medical devices which were also supported by ZIS funds.

Abstract

Analyzing the fundraising management strategy applied by Nurul Hayat Gresik Amil Zakat Institution is the goal chosen by the researcher. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with observation, interviews, and documentation. Source triangulation is used to ensure data validity. The results of this study show that the Zakat Infaq Sadaqah (ZIS) fundraising strategy by Nurul Hayat Gresik Amil Zakat Institution is carried out by methods, namely indirect fundraising through social media, banners and pamphlets, direct fundraising through messages or letters and visiting donors directly. In addition, Nurul Hayat Amil Zakat Institution has implemented fundraising management functions well, namely planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. If the fundraising management strategy has been carried out correctly, the collected zakat, infaq, sadaqah (ZIS) funds will be optimal.

Abstract

The increase in the price of fuel oil (BBM) on September 3, 2022 had a big impact on society, besides that this increase allows the appearance of deviant behavior by traders, such as retail traders. The importance of ethics in trading must be carried out, in order to avoid deviant acts and get the pleasure of Allah SWT. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the trading of fuel after the determination of price increases based on the perspective of Islamic business ethics. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The type of research used is field research. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that the mechanism for trading fuel after the determination of the price increase was carried out by retail traders in Gedangan, Kedungrejo, Kedungadem, Bojonegoro including: buying fuel at gas stations and agents; dosage determination; pricing; and direct marketing. Fuel trading practices carried out by retail traders are not in accordance with Islamic business ethics, namely the principles of equilibrium, free will, responsibility and benevolence. This is because traders are dishonest and commit fraud in the form of reducing the dose of fuel, so that it can harm the buyer.

Abstract

Financial performance describes an achievement over a certain period of time on the procedures for managing a bank's finances. This research aims to measure how the performance of Indonesian Sharia Banks in 2022 so that it can be ranked as the 6th largest bank in Indonesia. Descriptive research method using financial ratio analysis, the ratio used is the ratio of liquidity, profitability, and solvency. The results in this study indicate that the FDR ratio of Indonesian Sharia Banks performs in a poor category, because it does not meet BI regulatory standards. While the cash ratio, ROA, ROE, BOPO, and CAR are in good condition, because these ratios comply with BI regulations. The implications of this research for readers can be used as a reference for writing further scientific papers. Meanwhile, companies, especially Bank Syariah Indonesia, are expected to improve their financial performance so they can improve their performance in 2023.

Abstract

Islamic business ethics is a standard of business ethics derived from the Quran and Hadith that must be followed by all business people. Doing business is not only aimed at seeking profit, but doing business must be based on ethics. As one of the places where business activities take place, Rojokoyo Animal Market is a cattle market center that is quite famous in the Kediri Regency area. This is because the number of traders is relatively large. Thus giving rise to several behaviors of cattle traders who are prone to cheating in trading. Thus, this study aims to determine the implementation of cattle trader behavior in buying and selling at Rojokoyo Market Kediri based on the perspective of Islamic business ethics. This research method is a descriptive qualitative method with a case study type of research. By using primary data and secondary data obtained by researchers from observations, interviews and documentation to several parties involved, as well as some literature in accordance with the research theme. While the results of this study show that all cattle traders in Rojokoyo Market have implemented the principles of Islamic business ethics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the sharia marketing strategy applied at BSI KCP Pasar Babat Lamongan in increasing the interest of pension financing customers in 2022 which had decreased. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques that include observation, interviews and documentation. The informants selected in this study are determined by purposive sampling techniques, namely by choosing sources that are considered to know the research topic best. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis, referring to the concept of marketing mix (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process, Physical Evidence) which is reviewed through the value of sharia marketing from the nature of the Prophet SAW (Shiddiq, Fathanah, Amanah, Tabligh). The results of the study stated that the sharia marketing strategy that implements a marketing mix combined with the exemplary qualities of the Prophet SAW, was able to increase the interest and number of disbursements of pension financing customers in November 2022.
