Abstract

LAZISMU as an institution that utilizes zakat, infaq, alms, waqf and other charitable funds certainly requires human resources in its management, so it is important for LAZISMU to pay attention to human resource management. This study discusses the role of OCB as a mediating variable in the influence of compensation on employee retention. The research method involved a survey of 64 employees working at LAZISMU. The sample selection technique was carried out using probability sampling in the form of simple random sampling. Data was collected using a questionnaire via Google Form and processed with the help of the Smart PLS 4 program. The results of this research prove that there is a positive correlation between compensation and OCB, as well as between OCB and employee retention. However, the influence of OCB as a mediator in the relationship between compensation and employee retention is proven to be weak. These findings show the importance of good compensation management to increase employee OCB, which in turn can influence employee retention.

Abstract

The Islamic work ethic is an obligation for banks that conduct business based on Sharia principles. This research aims to determine the influence of Islamic Leadership and Islamic Work Ethics on the Islamic Performance of Employees at BPRS Lantabur Tebuireng. This research uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The data used is primary data through questionnaires distributed to respondents. The sample for this research was 40 employees of BPRS Lantabur Tebuireng. The results of this research indicate that Islamic work ethics partially have an influence on employee Islamic performance. Meanwhile, Islamic leadership partially has no influence on employee Islamic performance. The results of testing the coefficient of determination show that Islamic leadership and Islamic work ethics have a simultaneous influence with a percentage of 90.1% on employee Islamic performance. This research will later be able to provide insight to institutions as well as leaders and employees to apply these aspects in the world of work

Abstract

Halal products are a necessity for Muslim consumers. The concept of halal in a product is not only based on its composition but must also be hygienic, clean, and of good quality. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of halal labeling and halal awareness on Korean Food purchasing decisions among Gen-Z Muslims in East Java. The research method uses quantitative methods with primary data sources obtained from distributing questionnaires online. Sampling used purposive sampling technique with a total of 110 respondents. The technique used in data analysis is multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS-23 analysis tool. The results of the research show that halal labeling has no influence on purchasing decisions, halal awareness influences purchasing decisions and halal labeling and halal awareness simultaneously influence Korean Food purchasing decisions among gen-z Muslims in East Java. This shows that halal awareness can have an influence, while halal labeling cannot influence East Java Muslim consumers' purchasing decisions for Korean Food products.

Abstract

Zakat has an important role in helping overcome the problem of poverty that occurs in Indonesia. This research aims to identify the influence of service quality and Islamic work ethic on muzakki satisfaction at Baznas Tuban Regency. This research uses a quantitative method with an associative approach and uses a probability sampling technique, namely simple random sampling. Data was collected using a questionnaire and measured using a Likert scale. Multiple Linear Regression data analysis technique using the SPSS program. The research results show that partially service quality has a positive and significant effect on muzakki satisfaction, Islamic work ethic has a positive and significant effect on muzakki satisfaction. Meanwhile, simultaneously the quality of service and the Islamic work ethic influence muzakki satisfaction at Baznas Tuban Regency. It is hoped that the results of this research can become a reference in zakat management in Indonesia.

Abstract

Fundraising strategies have an important role in increasing the acquisition of zakat funds, but zakat management institutions in implementing fundraising strategies are less than optimal so that seen from the amount of realization of zakat fund collection in Indonesia has a large gap with the potential. This research aims to explain the fundraising strategy at YDSF Surabaya in increasing the acquisition of zakat funds and explaining the obstacles faced by YDSF Surabaya in conducting fundraising activities. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Researchers used data collection techniques from interviews using purposive sampling techniques, observation, and also documentation. The result showed that YDSF Surabaya in conducting fundraising strategies used two methods, namely direct fundraising and indirect fundraising conducted offline and online. The obstacles faced are not all fundraising officers master the product, the difficulty of obtaining donor numbers, the less optimal collection throgh institution’s application, the disconection of functions between divisions, limited human resouces and the emergence of similar programs in other amil zakat institutions. By using fundraising strategies, YDSF Surabaya can increase the aquisition of zakat fund every year.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology provide convenience for humans. One of the impacts is in the field of digital payment systems, namely QRIS. This study aims to determine the effect of promotion and convenience on the decision to use the QRIS digital payment system for Generation Z in Bojonegoro Regency. This type of research is quantitative research with an associative approach. The sampling method applies non-probability sampling techniques by determining the sample through purposive sampling. The data collection technique used a questionnaire measured on a Likert scale. For data analysis techniques, multiple linear regression is used which is processed with the help of SPSS 24 software. The results of this study indicate that the promotion variable has a positive and significant effect on the decision to use the QRIS digital payment system. Then the convenience variable has a positive and significant effect on the decision to use the QRIS digital payment system. The results of this study indicate that to increase the use of QRIS in Bojonegoro Regency there needs to be more effective promotion and increased ease of use. These two factors have proven significant in influencing the decision to use QRIS among Generation Z.

Abstract

Poverty is still a social challenge that must be overcome. Islam has a solution for alleviating poverty through zakat. However, in reality, zakat collection is currently still not optimal. This research aims to determine the influence of religiosity and zakat literacy on compliance with paying zakat by the ASN profession of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of East Java Province. Research data were taken from primary sources through direct distribution of questionnaires and through google forms to respondents. This study uses a quantitative approach with non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method. The results of data analysis through SPSS with multiple linear regression show that the religiosity variable has a significant effect on compliance with paying professional zakat.Zakat literacy variable also has a significant effect on compliance to pay professional zakat. Simultaneous testing shows that religiosity and zakat literacy variables have a significant effect on compliance with paying professional zakat. The results of this study also support zakat institutions to improve their programs aimed at increasing religiosity and literacy in society.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of halal awareness, promotion and service quality in the decision to use food delivery services in online motorcycle taxi applications by Muslim communities in East Java. This research method uses a quantitative approach with primary data collection through a google form questionnaire which is then distributed. Sampling using purposive sampling method which has the criteria of the East Java Muslim community and has used online motorcycle taxi food delivery (Go-food, Grabfood, Maxim Food and others). The research findings show that halal awareness does not have a positive and significant effect on the decision to use the food delivery feature in the online motorcycle taxi application. Promotion variables and service quality show that there is a positive and significant influence on the decision to use the food delivery feature in online motorcycle taxi applications for Muslim communities in East Java. Thus, the application of halal awareness in Muslim communities in East Java in the decision to use food delivery in online motorcycle taxi applications is still low and not optimal because Muslim communities have various backgrounds that can shape consumption patterns while promotions can make a source of motivation in purchasing using online motorcycle taxi applications and the quality of service of online motorcycle taxi applications is in accordance with consumer expectations during transactions.

Abstract

Islamic Commercial Banks are expected to carry out corporate, risk, compliance to improve the financial performance of Islamic Commercial banks in Indonesia. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of corporate governance, financing risk, shariah compliance, and earning management on financial performance.  The research method used in the study is a quantitative approach with secondary data. Data was taken with purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that corporate governance as measured by DPS and KA has no influence on financial performance. NPF affects the financial performance of Islamic Commercial Banks, FDR has no influence on financial performance. For shariah compliance, measurement using PSR shows influential results and IsIR has no influence on the financial performance of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia. Meanwhile, earning management has no influence on the financial performance of Islamic Commercial Banks. So, with the results obtained from this research, Islamic Commercial Banks can pay more attention to the financing portolio, especially mudharabah and musyarakah financing, so that they can run more effectively and reduce losses in order to improve the bank’s overall financial performance.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of maqasid sharia and the effectiveness of the MEC (Mandiri Entrepreneur Center) of LAZ Yatim Mandiri Surabaya program on mustahik welfare through work productivity as an intervening variable. Previously, there were previous studies that discussed the effect of maqasid sharia using qualitative methods. However, the method used in this study is quantitative by distributing questionnaires online and SEM-PLS as an analytical tool. The results showed that the value of maqashid sharia has a significant effect on work productivity and mustahik welfare. In contrast, the effectiveness of the MEC program has no effect on work productivity and mustahik welfare. Furthermore, work productivity is proven to be significant as an intervening variable that mediates the maqasid sharia principle in influencing mustahik welfare. In conclusion, a maqasid sharia-oriented approach has an important role in improving the welfare of mustahik through increased work productivity. Therefore, the integration of ethical and moral values in economic empowerment programs through zakat can be an effective strategy to improve mustahik welfare and encourage mustahik to transform into muzaki.
