Abstract

From the result of tensile test research on carbon steel plate. After the welding process and treated with a load of 3000 kg get the average calculation value are non treatment ?y = 54,32 kgf/mm², ?u = 28,36 kgf/mm² and ?f = 23,78 kgf/mm². The average value of the tensile test on air quenching are ?y = 29,63 kgf/mm², ?u = 34,93 kgf/mm², ?f = 33,01 kgf/mm². The average value of the tensile test on coconut water quenching are ?y = 22,66 kgf/mm², ?u = 29,47 kgf/mm², ?f = 26,79 kgf/mm². this tensile test research, it can be concluded that coconut water quenching , has better result than air quenching.

Abstract

Sub-district of Rawa Makmur broadly regional 150 Ha and number of residents 5655 men increasingly grows with existence of country college which located in this district. This thing makes area that is formerly mostly in the form of wetland ( marsh) changes over function to become area is woke up. Purpose of this research is to give image of pond distribution pattern happened so that management system design of disaster applicable to especially flooding as well as know the cause of pond happened causing can be done its(the penanggulangan effort. Primary data collecting in the form of topography gauging, passage dimension and interview. Secondary data in the form of location map, data arranges land use, etc. Transformation arranges land use equal to 30% in 3 last year results the happening of pond every the rains. Pond height ranges from 5 - 50 cm in avenue and reachs 100 m at resident area especially which nearby regulus. Factors causing flooding is low topography, transformation arranges land use from area of marsh becomes area of woke up, ugly drainage and only side and destroyed it sluice in disposal of final_ resulting the happening of reverse flow.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to evaluate the wave height, maximum wind direction, and water level elevation and to design the dimensions of coastal safety buildings with wave conditions in the research location. The research method used is descriptive, quantitative, and searches for all necessary data derived from field study data and literature study data consisting of primary data and secondary data. After calculating, it is found that the largest breaking wave height is the result of the calculation of data obtained from BMKG, namely 1.77 meters, while the height of the breaking wave obtained by direct observation is 1.34 meters, so that the height of the breaking wave used in this study is the result. calculations from BMKG data. Based on data from BMKG, the maximum wind speed data for the last 5 years obtained the percentage of dominant wind speed, namely from the West with a total percentage of 58.33%, and the smallest wind speed that is from the North with a total percentage of 1.67. %, the design water level elevation is 2.1 meters and the top elevation of the coastal protection building is 4,877 meters. The weight of the protective layer for the head of the coast guard is 0.5 ton, the weight of the core of the beach is 50 kilograms, with a thickness of 1.5 meters of protection layer, and the width of the top of the head of the beach protection building is 2 meters while the weight of the layer The protection for the part of the beach protection arm is 1.51 tons, the weight of the core stone is 151 kilograms, with a thickness of 2 meters, and a width of the top of the armored beach guard building is 3 meters. The grain weight of the beach safety leg at the head W = 0.103 tons, with a width of 5 meters and a height of 1 meter for the head of the beach safety leg. The number of layers of protection per 10 m2 N for the head of the coast guard = 45 pieces and the number of layers per 10 m2 of N for the part of the coast guard = 22. Based on these results it can be concluded that the BMKG data is not always the same as the field data.

Abstract

Abstract A road is one of the infrastructures for the community to reach an area to another region. In this case to facilitate economic relations activities, both between one city and another city, between cities and villages, between villages and other villages. At present time the construction planning or the thickness of road construction can be done in many ways (methods), among others: ASSTH (American Association Of State Highway And Transportation Officials) and United States (The Asphalt Institute), Rote Note ( England), AUSTROADS (Australia), and Bina Marga (Indonesia). Analyzing the factors of the damage, calculation planning Flextual Pavement Thickness with Component Analysis Method from Bina Marga, 1987. Analyzing of the cuases of damage will increase the accuracy of the research results. Based on the survey of the road conditions, the damages that occurred are fine cracks, alligator cracks, edge cracks, cracks, joint reflec cracks and pavement, rutting, peels, potholes, shoving and weathering. The most dominant damages type that happend is pothole crack. The method used is California Bearing Ratio (CBR), and to determine the thickness by using the field analysis of average daily traffic. Based on the result of the analysis and the counting that have been conducted using Bina Marga method, the average of CBR is 6,6%, the number of the Capacity of Soils is 5,2 %. The thickness of the flexible pavement layer that is required to enhance the section of Jalan Selebar – Sebakul, Kota Bengkulu the based on the component analysis method of SKBI (Indonesia Building Construction Standards) 1987, is 55 cm with the details from the 6732 vehicles of average daily traffic. The calculated results, it is obtained that each pavement layer thickness is the surface course Laston MS 744 kg with a thickness of 10 cm. The base course is using grade A split with the thickness of 20 cm. The subbase course is Grade A sand and stone aggregates with 25 cm thickness.

Abstract

Abstract Flooding in Bengkulu city is an event that occurs every year. One area that is often affected by floods is the downstream area of ??the Air Bengkulu River Basin. Flooding in the Air Bengkulu Hilir watershed is caused by an increase in water discharge due to high rainfall. This study aims to create a flood inundation map. This map was created by modeling. flood inundation in the Air Bengkulu Hilir watershed area through a simulation of flood flow. Flood inundation modeling is carried out by utilizing a special mode of analysis in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for the creation of river geometry as well as a HEC-RAS hydraulic flow simulation program. The method of making maps with several stages, namely the first rainfall analysis, calculation of drainage coefficient and land cover. Secondly, the preparation of digital elevation data (DEM) as a source of data forming river geometry, then the flow simulation uses the flood data of the flood plan in 5 and 10 years at 1789,687 m3 / second and 1830.15 m3 / second. Flood generation is displayed automatically through the RAS Mapper site in ArcGIS. Depth The results of the flood inundation map based on the flood discharge plan for 5 and 10 years are 0 - 10,534 m and 0 - 10,571 m identified areas are Surabaya, Semarang, Bentiring, Tanjung Jaya, Tanjung Agung, Suka Merindu, Rawa Makmur, and Kampung Kelawi.

Abstract

The heat treatment process provided on a metal or alloy may effect the mechanical properties of the metal or alloy.One of the heat treatment processes that can be applied to metal or alloy after welding is annealing process.Annealing proces is a process of heat treatment of metal or alloy by heating the metal at a certain temperature,holding at that temperature for a while and cooling the metal with a very slow cooling rate. The process of heattreatment provided aims to improve the mechanical properties of metal or alloys. Based on the above, this research is aimed to find out the influence of St 42 steel after welding and to experience annealing process to the hardness and the resulting microstructure. This research is an experimental research. The materials used are St 42 steel, given welding treatment then in annealing process on temperature variation 500C, 6000C and 700C with holding time I hour. Furthermore, violent testing and microstructural observations are followed The result of dataanalysis shows that the highest mean hardness value at annealing temperafure is 5000C ie 170,03 HVN. While at annealing temperature 7000 C has the lowest mean value of hardness is 125,13 MVN.

Abstract

Exhaust emissions are waste products of fuel combustion from inside the machine issued through the exhaust system. Premium fuel is a fuel consisting of a mixture of hydrocarbon liquid are very volatile which has an octane rating of 88 ron. Premium is the product pertamina which contains C2H6- C6H14 with a minimum content of sulfur (S) 0.05%, Lead (Pb) 0.0013%, and oxygen (O2) of 2.7%. Motor fuel is such a machine types of calories that converts chemical energy of fuel into mechanical energy.

Abstract

Abstract Comparative evaluation of soil properties is used to determine soil properties in the field. Comparing several methods for grade testing aims to get results that are closest to the original data. Tests using Dynamic Cone Penetration (DCP) are commonly used. However, the method commonly used in Indonesia is in accordance with the 1993 Bina Marga regulation. Meanwhile, the method for testing DCP has many different variations. For this reason, DCP testing was carried out using 12 different methods to obtain test results from each method. The test was carried out at 6 points on the Halmahera Bengkulu road. From the test results, it is found that the largest Plastic Index value is at point A1 which is 98% while the largest CBR is at point B2, which is 62% using the NCDOT method. Of the 12 methods used, no significant differences were found, which means that all of these methods can be used for PI and CBR calculations.

Abstract

The accident in the road is suddenly happen and intuitively involve vehicle with or without other road walker that is effect human victim with or without loss property. Many efforts already done to avoid and anticipation the accident, but the accident still happened. The data that is easy to access will be help handling. Information system give information about location the sensitive accident place with collect history data from the sensitive accident location. The information is used to analysis how to handling that area and to be standard for getting the data with expectation the accident number will be decreased in Bengkulu city. The mapping in the sensitive accident area that is easy to access lade accident data and condition in the road for make handling policy and priority in area which is happened the accident in Bengkulu city. Least three years, Pariwisata, Baai Island, and Sungai Hitam road have high accident number. Accident data rate from 2012 until 2014 are in Pariwisata 4.04;2.69;2.31,in Sungai Hitam 2,14; 3,57; 3,57 and Baai Island 1,18; 0,59; 0,59. Elongated and transverse pieces on the body of the road to know condition the road, such as there is no side channel to deliver water which will affect the flexible pavement that is very vulnerable to water because it will destroy structure and pavement layer. Some roads have been damaged, for example: hole, cracked, bumpy road. Because of that condition, it must be maintenance soon. Some of the road, there is no median of the road. Median installation will be very helpful to reduce accident such as: avoid crash face to face, right angle accident. Installation speed limiting signs will be very helpful to reduce the accident number

Abstract

Abstract In the era of globalization with the level of technological progress in various sectors requires the use of technology to be one part of various activities. Both in terms of production, management, and even government. Everything that is done quickly and efficiently does require an additional tool which in this case is the sophistication of the technology it self. Engaged in the government sector, the Lebong Regency Government has begun to run the government using technology, one of which is in the field of information technology. Development and use of government areas is an important thing so that it can be examined properly. The effectiveness of performance is required in carrying out this matter. Information technology that can be utilized in government, one of which is “Geographic Information System” (GIS). Using GIS will be very effective in promoting effective and efficient governance. Remote sensing that can broadly observe land makes Lebong Regency Government activities even better.
