Abstract

Abstract Along with the increasing population growth and the high level of the economy in an urban area or the increasing of an urban area towards a metropolitan city, it will result in an increasing need for facilities needed by urban communities such as business centers, education, offices and trade, so the need for parking lots increasingly widespread. The reason is because most people use vehicles a lot. This results in parking problems which are very important to be studied more deeply, because almost all activities in open spaces require parking facilities, including in the market area. Methods of data collection were carried out by main survey, Plate Matching Survey, Vehicle Number Survey, Vehicle Type Survey, Duration Survey Record entry / exit times of vehicles. A preliminary survey was conducted in order to find out the field conditions in the panoramic market area, kec. Singaranpati, Bengkulu city, Determining and dividing the research area into several points facilitates the survey of police number plates. After conducting a preliminary survey and piloting, it is followed by conducting a main survey. This main survey consists of the Parking Duration Survey (conducted at parking locations in the panoramic market, Singaranpati district, Bengkulu city) and the Atching Plate Survey carried out by recording the license plates of motorized vehicles (cars and motorbikes) that park at each observation point. , with time intervals every 1 (one) hour. At Pasar Panorama, the peak parking activity occurs on Sundays at Jalan Salak. The parking volume is 650 motorbikes, 65 cars, 2 trucks. The accumulated parking on Sundays is 30 motorbikes per hour, 22 cars per hour and 0 buses / trucks per hour. The parking duration for motorbikes is 88.3 hours, cars 1.48, buses / trucks, 2.3. Parking capacity with motorbikes is 0.72 per hour, cars 18.24 per hour, buses / trucks 13.85. Motorcycle parking index 2.17, car 0.81, nus / truck 0. Replacement time for motorbikes 2.17, cars 0.81 and buses / trucks 0. Parking space requirement for motorbikes 191, cars 0.32, buses / truck 0.01. Meanwhile, what happened on Jalan Kedondong on Sunday with parking volume was 698 motorbikes, 68 cars, 0 trucks. The accumulated parking on Sundays is 112 motorbikes per hour, 31 cars per hour and 0 buses / trucks per hour. Parking duration with motorbikes is 88.2 hours, cars 2.5, buses / trucks 0, parking capacity with motorbikes is 0.77 per hour, cars 10.8 hours, buses / trucks 0. Motorcycle parking index 1, 75%, cars 1.15%, buses / trucks 0. Replacement time for motorbikes 1.75, cars 1.15 and buses / trucks 0. Abstract

Abstract This plan aims to find out a gasoline motor that is produced to be well efficient, data specifications of gasoline motors with motor power of 8.0 HP, motor speed of 2200 Rpm, Diameter x Step 14 cm x 16.8 cm', after planning and this calculation we can find out as follows: Volume cylinder block 230.1 cm , Torsion torque moment 175.3 kg/cm, shaft diameter 5.2 cm. Compression is air pressure which has a very big role in producing engine speed, both temperature and power generated, let us be more careful in planning a motor compression pressure, it is better not to compress too high and not too low, use an appropriate compression system.

Abstract

A steam boiler is a device that works by heating water to a boil to produce high pressure hot steam. The drum is made of forged steel DIN 17100, St 37-1 with a tensile strength of 240 N / mm² = 240 kg / cm². In the palm oil processing industry CPO (Crude Palm Oil) the hot steam produced by the steam boiler is used to drive steam turbines, as source of electrical energy, oil palm boiling, and other palm oil processing processes.The economizer is part of a steam boiler which serves to heat water for filling the kettle so that it reaches its boiling point.

Abstract

Results blacksmith craft in South Sumatra, especially in the village of Tanjung Dayang, Limbang Jaya and Tanjung Pinang Ogan Ilir regency still less able to compete nationally and internationally. To overcome the above required touch on material technology that can improve the mechanical properties (hardness, wear resistance, tensile stress) and the corrosion results of a craft. Many methods can improve the mechanical properties of these metals is through the process of heat treatment, Nitriding process with quenching media are varied. In this study the authors will test the extent of the influence of the media quenching process cooling water, air and using water + salt (NaCl) to changes in material hardness. From the results of testing the chemical composition using SEM, the blacksmith craft test specimens are classified into medium carbon steel with a carbon content of 0.4%. Quenching process using the medium of the air conditioner of 88.7 HRB where, water + NaCl can increase the hardness of steel craft blacksmiths and maximum hardness that can be achieved by 24.7% (117.5 HRB) for specimen by quenching using water media + 10% salt. Quenching process using cooling media with ai r salt content of more than 10% (water + salt 10%) will occur fairly significant drop in violence from violence that is becoming 114.7 HRB.

Abstract

Abstract In an effort to increase the strength of pavement structures in addition to the use of hot asphalt mixture with new specifications, the selection of material types used is very important. In addition to asphalt, coarse aggregates and fine aggregates, the filler is one component in the mixture that has a large role to Marshall properties which is also a mixed performance against the traffic load. The implementation of this pilot work aims to compare mixed / stirring results using only stone ash and mixture/stirring using a beach-type additive in the AC-WC composition. Implementation of this pilot work using the Marshall method, where the Marshall test is obtained results in the form of components Marshall, namely stability, flow, Void In Total Mix (VITM), Void Filled with Asphalt (VFA) and then can be calculated Marshall Its quotiety. The last test is a Marshall immersion test or Immersion test. The result of comparison between the use of fine aggregate using only rock ash and the addition of coastal sand to the properties of Marshall AC-WC (Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Course) is based on marshall characteristic values indicating that the use of sand in asphalt concrete mixture produces a stable AC- WC layer against Change in shape (smooth and solid), but has no durability to the effects of traffic load reps and is bleeding, and is not flexible enough to break easily and break.

Abstract

Abstract As the volume of vehicles increases every year, the need for a parking space is a primary need that must be well prepared by a data center, this aims to minimize the number of congestion and the need for parking space. Mega mall Bengkulu is one of the centers in Bengkulu Province which every day experiences problems of lack of parking space and congestion. The data test method is by means of a field survey by taking the Average Daily Traffic (LHR) at the peak time of vehicles entering and exiting the parking area and measuring the conditions of the parking area / parking area. The data obtained are: parking area capacity, parking volume and demand. parking space. Based on the results of the survey and analysis of parking volume data at Mega Mall Bengkulu which was carried out on September 7 - 9, 2018, it can be concluded that the need for parking space (KRP) for vehicles at Mega Mall Bengkulu details: accommodating cars of 150 SRP on Sunday 9 September 2018 tamping capacity is 150 SRP and the maximum accumulation of motor vehicles is 382 SRP on Sunday, September 9 2018. Capacity is 400 SRP. For the maximum daily parking volume, the vehicle parking area at Mega Mall Bengkulu occurs on Sunday, September 9 2018 with the volume of vehicles 756 and motorcycles in 1911.

Abstract

Abstract The snail shell in the Bai Island Region of Bengkulu City is very large, if we don't use it offensively it will disturb the surrounding environment because it is left scattered on the riverbank. As for the efforts to utilize this waste, one of which is the most likely one we can use is the use of this snail shell for replacing fillers in the Asphalt Concrete Binder Course (AC-BC) mixture. The purpose of this research is to determine the characteristics of a mixture of AC-BC layers with fillers from snail shell ash waste in the Bai Island area of ??Bengkulu City, while the parameters used are as follows: Stability, Flow, Marshall Quotient, cavities in the mixture (VIM), intermediate cavity (VMA), asphalt filled cavity (VFA) and evaluate the performance of the mixture against the specifications required for AC-BC coated concrete mixtures. The results obtained stability value of 0% snail shell ash is 1036.3 kg. The stability value using snail fly ash 50% 964.8 kg. The stability value of snail shell ash is 100% 880.9 kg. While the flow in the mixture of 0% snail fly ash is 3.4 mm. The flow value of 50% snail shell ash is 3.7 mm and 100% flow of snail shell ash is 3.3 mm. From this research, obtained by using snail shell ash shows that the value of stability has decreased with the increasing number of snail shell ash but still fulfills the requirements of the 2010 General Highways specifications with a requirement value of> 800 kg. The flow value also shows that the mixture meets the requirements of the 2010 Bina Marga General specifications with a requirement value of> 3 mm, although the flow value has decreased, but in 50% of snail shell ash the flow value has increased by 3.7 mm.

Abstract

Intersection are knots in transportation network where two or more roads meet, in this area conflict is occurred, law of traffic are applied to handle this conflict to make sure who gets the priority to use the intersection first. Control Intersection make use of maximum capacity of the intersection, reducing and preventing accidents by reducing the number of conflicts. This research intend to analyse the traffic and calculate traffic flow at Taman Simpang Kandis road. To get data for this research purpose can get done by using direct observation, and count number of vehicle that passed the four arms intersection and three arms intersection. The result of this survey categorized by light vehicle, heavy vehicle, motorcycle, and non-motorized vehicle. Four arms intersection performance analysed by observe capacity, saturation degree, delay, queue chance is still below the standard based on MKIJI 1997. The best alternative for the four arms intersection are by combining installation the “prohibited to stop“ road sign and change 2 lanes with 2 directions to four arms intersection with 2 lanes and 1 direction. Three arms intersection performance analysed by observe capacity, saturation degree, delay, queue chance is still below the standard based on MKIJI 1997. The best alternative for this three arms intersection are by prohibited to turn left from Rustandi Sugianto 1 road and prohibited to turn right form Rustandi Sugianto 2 road where can make vehicle stacked on side of that road.

Abstract

Each level of the earth’s surface has a different height. Therefore, measurement of the situation and topography is important for the planning work and physical work. The important of measuring the topography and the situation as a contributing factor to the efficiency and effectiveness of a job. The high point of diffence that wiil beobtained, determinetd by the axes in the plane shown in a vertical sign measuring. Current topography measurement issues are often the topics to be consideren for the job of a plan. Elevation is one of the problems in drawing a plan of work stages. Diffrence in elevation affect the volume of a very physical job. The purpose of this study was to analyze the results of measurements of topography which will look different in height, so the difference in elevation between the measuring instrument gauges Gps ( Global Posisioning System ) and Theodolite can be optimized, making it useful for planning and as a refrence to a physical. This study uses a Gps ( Global Posisioning System ) measuring devices and measuring instruments Theodolite by performing measurements of 10 ( ten ) each STA whit its distance 50 ( fifty ) until 100 ( one hundred ) meter. STA making does not use permanent markers, but by using red paint for the singn of the measurements made with Gps ( Global Posisioning System ) measuring device are not lost. This facilitates the measurement by using a tool measure Theodolite because the measuring instrument has a point to point STA sentring these points. The data taken in each STA is the data spacing (d) optimal, elevation, coordinates and coordinates. After the data is obtained, then compared with the analytical calculation of the prevaling topography. Results of research conducted comparison elevation using Gps measuring devices and measuring instrumens Theodolite we can conclude that for accurate elevations obtained from the Gps measuring devices can not be used from the planning work and physical work for every point elevation STA produced (-) mines 1 meter (do not heve this level of accuracy of the data), it does not correspond to the actual situation on the ground. As with the Theodolite measuring devices (T.0) which as a good level of concordace data and also have a good correction. But for the distance and direction that share a common coordinate measuring device Theodolite (T.0)

Abstract

Abstract Mechanical properties of non-treated low carbon steel plate and materials that received heat treatment at 9000 C by quenching coconut water and sugarcane juice obtained from the test results, based on hardness testing obtained from Brinell in the Bengkulu University laboratory with an average result without treatment = 59, 76 HRB, sugarcane juice quenching = 64.4 HRB, coconut water quenching = 65.06 HRB, Based on the above test it can be concluded that the specimens that received heat treatment and quenched with coconut water had the highest hardness value compared to specimens that received heat treatment and quenched with sugarcane juice and specimens without getting any treatment. As for the microstructure grains obtained in the specimen on the right, the untreated specimen = 10.9 µm, the coconut water quenched specimen = 10.4 µmand the sugarcane juice quenched specimen = 8.6 µmwhile on the left the grains microstructure grains obtained from untreated specimens = 11.25 µm, coconut water quenched specimens = 10.3 µm and sugarcane juice quenched specimens = 8.5 µmwhile on the left
