Abstract

This study aims to analyze how compensation and motivation affect employee performance. The research was conducted at a cracker factory company, CV Arum Sari. The research method used is a qualitative method using a descriptive approach, this research uses data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires/surveys, interviews, documentation and field surveys. The results showed that the compensation system at CV Arum Sari was not sufficient to motivate employees to achieve optimal performance, this is stated in the research results which obtained a value of 39 with a percentage of 39% which fell into the less/low category. Then employee motivation in achieving work goals in the level of employee satisfaction with work motivation is not sufficient, this is stated in the research results which obtained a value of 38 with a percentage of 38% which falls into the less/low category. The performance of CV Arum Sari employees in achieving production targets is satisfactory. Although there are still some problems related to product quality.

Abstract

Fiscal decentralization is an implementation of regional autonomy, where fiscal decentralization provides space for regional governments to develop the regional economy, including alleviating poverty by utilizing regional financial tools. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of local revenue, balancing funds and financing funds on poverty. This research uses secondary data with time series data for the period 2007-2022. This research uses multiple regression analysis techniques (Ordinary Least Square). Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that local original income and balancing funds have a negative and significant effect on poverty. Meanwhile, financing funds have no effect on poverty in Purbalingga Regency.

Abstract

A company is greatly affected by employee performance. Hence, the company tends to always make efforts to enhance employee performance in the hope of achieving the goals that have been set. This research aims to identify the impact between the work environment and rewards or compensation on employee work performance. Quantitative methods were used in this research and the data analysis technique used was Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS software. Data was collected through a questionnaire, with a population and sample consisting of 32 Perhutani Legok Haji employee respondents. Data analysis and hypothesis testing using outer and inner models. The results of the analysis show that there is an impact between work atmosphere and rewards or work compensation which has a good influence on employee worker performance. Therefore, it is recommended for Perhutani leaders to improve the work environment and compensation so that they can optimize employee performance in order to meet the company's demands.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the quality of tumbler products at PT Bintang Mitra Kencana and identify factors that influence the occurrence of defects in products. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive research design. Data was collected through documentation and interviews with two informants who were the General Director and production staff at the company. This research uses several Seven Tools quality control tools (check sheets, histograms, Pareto diagrams, control charts, scatter diagrams, stratification diagrams, and cause-and-effect diagrams), as well as attribute control charts (P Chart). The research results show that the most common defects in tumbler products in the company are powder pest defects. Factors that cause defects include a lack of understanding by the workforce regarding raw material care, a lack of clear methods and procedures in the production process, the use of wet raw materials, the use of poorly maintained machines, and an unclean storage environment. Several efforts to improve human factors require training and education for employees, increased supervision and monitoring during the production process. For method factors, it is necessary to develop clear operational standards and appropriate process parameters. For raw material factors, it is necessary to carry out proper drying and appropriate storage. For engine factors, it is necessary to carry out routine maintenance and periodic cleaning. And for environmental factors, it is necessary to arrange a suitable storage environment. By carrying out the recommended corrective actions, it is hoped that we can reduce the level of defects in tumbler products at PT Bintang Mitra Kencana and improve overall product quality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of work saturation, work conflict, and work motivation on turnover intention among Azalea Food employees. The research method used in this research is the survey method. Data collection uses direct observation and distribution of questionnaires in the field related to the research object. The population in this study were employees at Azalea Food. The sample in this research were employees at Azalea Food, which numbered 30 employees. This sampling used the saturated sampling method. The results of research using multiple linear regression analysis showed that partially work saturation, work conflict and work motivation had a significant positive effect on turnover intention among Azalea Food employees. Apart from that, simultaneously work burnout, work conflict, and work motivation have a significant positive effect on turnover intention among Azalea Food employees.

Abstract

Taxes are a source of state financing and a regulatory tool in implementing government policies. This research investigates the influence of Subjective Norms and Moral Obligations on Taxpayer Attitudes. Also investigate whether Taxpayer Attitudes are a good mediator. This study conducted a survey of motor vehicle taxpayers in the city of Surabaya. Using a purposive sampling method with the sample criteria being taxpayer respondents who are processing motor vehicle taxes in the city of Surabaya, 155 respondents. The data was then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling. The findings show that subjective norms and moral obligations make a positive contribution to taxpayer attitudes. Research also proves that taxpayer attitudes mediate the relationship between subjective norms and moral obligations on taxpayer compliance. This study contributes to understanding taxpayer behavior by using a framework of taxpayer attitudes and taxpayer compliance with motor vehicle taxes, which can also be applied to other taxpayers.

Abstract

Job satisfaction is one thing that triggers the intention to continue working at a company. This research investigates the influence of job satisfaction and perceived organizational support on organizational commitment. Also investigate whether organizational commitment is a good mediator. This study conducted a survey of employees at PT Wangta Agung Surabaya. Using a purposive sampling method with sample criteria being employees who had worked for at least 1 year, 94 respondents were obtained. The data was then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling. The findings show that job satisfaction and perceived organizational support make a positive contribution to organizational commitment. Research also proves that organizational commitment mediates the relationship between job satisfaction and perceived organizational support on employee intention to stay. This study contributes to understanding employee behavior by using the framework of Organizational Commitment and Intention to Stay in service companies, which can also be applied to other public companies.

Abstract

Soldier performance cannot be separated from the role of the organization. This research investigates the influence of the development of defense equipment and artificial intelligence on soldier performance. Also investigate whether organizational commitment is a good mediator. This study conducted a survey at the Surabaya Marine Corps 2nd Amphibious Reconnaissance Battalion. Using a saturated sampling method, and a research sample of 102 respondents, the data was then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling. The findings show that the development/modernization of defense equipment and artificial intelligence makes a positive contribution to organizational commitment. Research also proves that organizational commitment mediates the relationship between artificial intelligence and soldier performance, while it does not mediate the relationship between defense equipment development and soldier performance. This study contributes to understanding organizational behavior by using a framework for the development of defense equipment and artificial intelligence in the 2nd Amphibious Reconnaissance Battalion of the Surabaya Marine Corps, which can also be applied to other general organizations.

Abstract

Saving is a good habit that every individual can do as early as possible, because it needs to be supported by the company. This research investigates the influence of lifestyle and income on financial literacy. Also investigate whether financial literacy is a good mediator. This study conducted a survey of employees at the Tritya Surabaya eye clinic using saturated sampling with 67 respondents. The data was then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling. The findings show that lifestyle and income make a positive contribution to financial literacy. Research also proves that financial literacy mediates the relationship between lifestyle and income on saving behavior. This study contributes to understanding employee behavior by using a framework of financial literacy and saving behavior in medical companies, which can also be applied to general companies.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impAct of Experiential Marketing on Customer Loyalty with Customer Engagement as an intervening variable at Starbucks Coffe - Surabaya. Data collection was conducted through direct and online surveys via social media. The total number of respondents was 100 with the criteria of customers who have visited and transActed at least one time in the last one month. The tools used for data processing are Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) techniques. The results of this study indicate that Experiential Marketing has a positive significant effect on Customer Loyalty, Experiential Marketing has a positive significant effect on Customer Engagement, Customer Engagement has a positive significant effect on Customer Loyalty, and Customer Engagement intervenes significantly between Experiential Marketing and Customer Loyalty.
