Abstract

Strengthening aqidah through education is a basic need, because aqidah is the main foundation and basis of Islamic teachings. In another example, everything that exists in this universe is a bias from the existence of Allah SWT. belief in the existence of this universe, actually leads to the fact that "to know the universe, you must first know its Creator." Attack after attack against the creed of Muslims today is very massive. Especially from those with a background of secularism, liberalism and dialectical materialism. The right step is Islamization and revealing the original Islamic philosophical thought. As has been stated by Syed Naquib Al-Attas regarding the Islamization of Science, as well as surgery and unpacking the understanding of al-Buthi's dialectical materialistic understanding. According to al-Attas, the biggest challenge facing Muslims is the challenge of knowledge being spread throughout the Islamic world by Western civilization. The solution is that Western science must first be cleansed of elements that are contrary to Islamic teachings, then formulate and combine essential Islamic elements and key concepts so as to produce a composition that summarizes core knowledge. Meanwhile, al-Buthi, said that there must be original Islamic scientific thoughts that are revealed to the younger generation, so that they know the true aqidah and the straight path

Abstract

The development of an increasingly advanced world accompanied by the era ofglobalization and the rapid development of science and technology in several areasof people's lives has brought great influence, including on legal issues. Islamicsociety as an inseparable part of the world, cannot escape from problems thatconcern the legal position of an issue. New problems that arise among Muslimssometimes have unclear legal status in the two main sources of law, namely theQur'an and hadith, requiring the Ulama to provide quick and appropriate solutions and answers so that Islamic law becomes responsive and dynamic. This is where the strategic position of ijtihad as an instrument for conducting "social engineering" lies. Islamic law will play a real and functional role if ijtihad is placed proportionally in anticipation of social dynamics with the various complexities of the problems it causes.

Abstract

Awareness of the importance of updating Islamic legal thought is increasing, it is triggered by the fact that Islamic law that exists today is considered unable to respond to various problems that arise and develop in the modern world. As a result, Islamic law is seen or considered no longer compatible with the times and itis contrary to the doctrine or belief that Islam is a plenary religion that will always be in harmony with the development of the times It emerged that one of the great thinkers in the contemporary era of Muhammad Syahrur introduced a new theory of careful and profound interpretation of the Koran called the Hudud theory. Anapproach in ijtihad (interpretation of individuals) to study the verses of muhkam from the Koran. The term boundary (hudûd) used by Shahrur refers to themeaning of "God's limits or limitations that must not be broken, contained in a dynamic, flexible, and elastic ijtihad". By using descriptive-analytical methods, the article is expected to be a means to make updates and significant contributions of Quranic interpretation to the improvement of Quranic studies.
