Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya kemampuan literasi matematis yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa. Kemampuan literasi matematis diartikan sebagai kemampuan seseorang merumuskan, menerapkan, dan menafsirkan matematika dalam berbagai konsep, prosedur, dan fakta untuk menggambarkan, menjelaskan fenomena yang terjadi. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan literasi matematis siswa adalah gaya kognitif, gaya kognitif merupakan cara seseorang menerima dan mengatur sebuah informasi yang diterimanya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Gresik, dengan populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI Saintek 3 dengan jumlah 25 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes matching familiar figure test (MFFT) dan tes kemampuan literasi matematis. Hasil tes MFFT untuk mendapatkan 2 subjek, yaitu subjek reflektif dan subjek impulsif. Hasil tes kemampuan literasi matematis dan wawancara kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan gaya kognitif reflektif dan impulsif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa gaya kognitif reflektif mampu memenuhi semua indikator 1 sampai 6, kemudian siswa gaya kognitif impulsif mampu memenuhi indikator 1 sampai 5 saja. Siswa gaya kognitif impulsif kurang mampu mengkomunikasikan hasil temuannya, sehingga belum bisa memenuhi indikator 6.

Abstract

The implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Indonesia has attracted significant interest and research in the field of education. The Independent Curriculum which aims to provide independent and flexible learning has been the subject of various studies that focus on its implementation, impact, and relevance in the education system. In the implementation of Lesson Study also uses other approaches, one approach that can be done by implementing the capacity and needs of student interests is using the TaRL (Teaching at The Right Level) approach. This study has a problem formulation about the study of the ability of prospective professional teachers in implementing lesson study with the Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) approach at the vocational high school level. The purpose of this study is to explore the ability of prospective professional teachers in designing, implementing and reflecting on the learning carried out. This study uses a descriptive method because the researcher is analyzing the problems that are occurring in learning, while the approach uses a qualitative approach. A qualitative research approach is an approach that does not use a statistical work basis, but is based on qualitative evidence. In this study, the researcher found that the ability of prospective vocational high school teachers in designing learning was in the good category, as well as the ability of prospective teachers in implementing learning was in the good category. This is supported by the finding that the ability of prospective teachers is not yet optimal when designing LKPD, learning media, and teaching materials that are integrated/synchronous in learning. In addition, the ability to design LKPD that brings up numeracy literacy as part of the motivation to carry out student-centered mathematics learning has not been seen

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to develop learning media in the form of mathematical e-comics as an effort to improve the understanding of the concept of algebraic forms in grade VII. This research is motivated by the underutilization and underdevelopment of digital technology, which helps students understand the concept of algebraic forms in grade VII mathematics. One alternative that can be used is mathematical e-comics. This research method is a Research and Development (R&D) study with a 4D development model. The instruments used are interview sheets, questionnaires, and validation sheets. The results of this research are that the valid criteria for the percentage of media experts is 91.67% with a very valid category, and material experts are 75% with a valid category. The student's test results showed 0,81 in the high category. With the following research results, mathematical e-comics are effective in helping students understand basic algebraic concepts in a more enjoyable and meaningful way. Keywords: E-comic, Mathematic, Understanding concept, Algebra Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa e-komik matematika sebagai upaya meningkatkan pemahaman konsep  aljabar pada kelas VII.  Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh teknologi digital yang belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal dan dikembangkan dengan cara menarik untuk membantu peserta didik memahami konsep bentuk aljabar matematika. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat digunakan adalah e-komik matematika. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar wawancara, kuesioner atau angket, dan lembar validasi. Dengan hasil penelitian sebagai berikut. Kriteria valid pada persentase ahli media sebesar 91,67% dengan kategori sangat valid dan ahli materi sebesar 75% dengan kategori valid. Hasil tes terhadap peserta didik menunjukkan 0,81 dengan kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa e-komik matematika efektif dalam membantu siswa memahami konsep dasar aljabar secara lebih menyenangkan dan bermakna. Abstract

Salah satu kesulitan dalam pembelajaran matematika adalah kecemasan siswa terhadap matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan belajar matematika ditinjau dari kecemasan matematika siswa di SMP Negeri 23 Kendari. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah angket kecemasan matematika, soal tes kesulitan belajar matematika, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan menarik kesimpulan. Dengan menggunakan angket kecemasan matematika, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 18 siswa yang belajar, terdapat 28% siswa dalam kategori kecemasan rendah, 50% siswa dalam kategori kecemasan sedang, 22% siswa dalam kategori kecemasan tinggi. Kesulitan belajar matematika didasari oleh kecemasan yang tinggi yaitu mengalami kesulitan dalam mentransfer pengetahuan, kesulitan dalam berhitung, kesulitan dalam persepsi visual, dan kurang memahami bahasa matematika. Siswa dengan kecemasan sedang mengalami kesulitan dalam berhitung dan kurang memahami bahasa matematika. Siswa dengan kecemasan rendah mengalami kesulitan dalam berhitung. Kata kunci: kecemasan matematika, kesulitan belajar matematika, deskriptif kualitatif.

Abstract

The ability to solve mathematical problems is one of the main competencies that need to be mastered in mathematics learning. However, a number of studies reveal that students still experience obstacles in solving math problems, especially on the topic of circles. The purpose of this study is to explore the various causes of difficulties of grade VIII students in solving mathematical problems related to circle material and offer alternative solutions that can be used in the learning process. This research was conducted with a descriptive qualitative approach through a case study of several junior high school students in grade VIII. The findings of this study show that the main obstacles for students lie in the lack of understanding of the basic concept of circles, errors in the use of formulas, and limitations in designing problem-solving steps. Therefore, problem-based learning strategies and contextual learning approaches are recommended to be implemented to support improved student understanding.

Abstract

Abstract Perceptions of a lack of Teacher innovation in presenting the content in PLP 2 led some students to feel bored and uninterested in learning, which in turn spurred this research.  Furthermore, several students were uncertain of their own replies to the teacher's questions and opted to check or match the answers provided by their classmates before responding.  As a result, the researcher in Kebomas District set out to determine how students' perceptions of their own mathematical abilities were affected by teachers' levels of creativity in the classroom.  Finding out how teachers' imaginations affect their pupils' confidence in their own mathematical abilities was the overarching goal of this research.  Two hundred forty-six children from Kebomas District's seventh and eighth grade classes participated in the study.  This study is a survey-based correlational analysis.  The study found that students' self-efficacy in math learning is influenced by a total of 91.5% of the variables not included in this study, with 8.5% of that influence coming from teachers' creativity in the areas of classroom atmosphere, asking questions, innovative teaching practices, overcoming obstacles, and teaching style. As a result, the researcher in Kebomas District set out to determine how students' perceptions of their own mathematical abilities were affected by teachers' levels of creativity in the classroom.  Finding out how teachers' imaginations affect their pupils' confidence in their own mathematical abilities was the overarching goal of this research.  Two hundred forty-six children from Kebomas District's seventh and eighth grade classes participated in the study.  This study is a survey-based correlational analysis.  Teachers' confidence in themselves as educators, the quality of their classroom environments, their ability to help students overcome challenges, the frequency with which they ask questions, and the innovative practices they employ all have an impact on students' perceptions of their own mathematical abilities; however, other factors beyond the scope of this study account for the remaining 91.5% of the variation in students' perceptions of their own mathematical abilities. Abstrak Persepsi tentang kurangnya inovasi guru dalam menyajikan konten dalam PLP 2 menyebabkan beberapa siswa merasa bosan dan tidak tertarik dalam belajar, yang pada gilirannya memacu penelitian ini. Lebih jauh, beberapa siswa tidak yakin dengan jawaban mereka sendiri terhadap pertanyaan guru dan memilih untuk memeriksa atau mencocokkan jawaban yang diberikan oleh teman sekelas mereka sebelum menjawab. Akibatnya, peneliti di Distrik Kebomas berusaha untuk menentukan bagaimana persepsi siswa tentang kemampuan matematika mereka sendiri dipengaruhi oleh tingkat kreativitas guru di kelas. Mencari tahu bagaimana imajinasi guru memengaruhi kepercayaan diri murid-murid mereka terhadap kemampuan matematika mereka sendiri adalah tujuan utama dari penelitian ini. Dua ratus empat puluh enam anak dari kelas tujuh dan delapan Distrik Kebomas berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini adalah analisis korelasional berbasis survei. Kepercayaan diri guru terhadap diri mereka sendiri sebagai pendidik, kualitas lingkungan kelas mereka, kemampuan mereka untuk membantu siswa mengatasi tantangan, frekuensi mereka mengajukan pertanyaan, dan praktik inovatif yang mereka terapkan semuanya berdampak pada persepsi siswa terhadap kemampuan matematika mereka sendiri; Namun, terdapat faktor lain di luar cakupan penelitian ini yang menyebabkan 91,5% variasi persepsi siswa terhadap kemampuan matematika mereka sendiri.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to develop an interactive digital module based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) with mathematical representations for circle material for eleventh-grade students. The Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) was employed. The module, developed as a website, includes interactive features such as videos, GeoGebra simulations, and game-based exercises. Validation by material and media experts yielded "feasible" scores (average 3.35 for content and 3.42 for design), while limited trials involving 10 students and teachers received "high" responses (average scores of 3.82 and 4.18, respectively). The results demonstrate the module’s effectiveness in enhancing conceptual understanding, learning motivation, and technological adaptation in education. Key limitations include internet dependency and limited functionality for small-screen devices. This study concludes that the RME-based interactive digital module is a viable innovation for 21st-century mathematics learning.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul digital interaktif berbasis Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) dengan representasi matematis pada materi lingkaran untuk siswa kelas XI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengadopsi model ADDIE yang meliputi tahapan Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Modul dikembangkan dalam bentuk website yang memuat fitur interaktif seperti video, simulasi GeoGebra, dan latihan soal berbasis game. Validasi oleh ahli materi dan media menunjukkan hasil "layak" (skor rata-rata 3,35 untuk materi dan 3,42 untuk media), sedangkan uji coba terbatas pada 10 siswa dan guru memperoleh respon "tinggi" (skor rata-rata 3,82 dan 4,18). Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa modul ini efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep lingkaran, motivasi belajar, dan adaptasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Kendala utama adalah ketergantungan pada koneksi internet dan keterbatasan fitur untuk perangkat layar kecil. Simpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa modul digital interaktif berbasis RME layak digunakan sebagai inovasi pembelajaran matematika yang mendukung keterampilan abad ke-21.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to provide an Android based interactive video for the VIII grade that focuses on linear equations and inequalities in one variable. ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) models is implemented in developing this media. After the media has been developed using GDevelop, a validation stage is carried out with experts and trials are carried out with students. Material experts' percentage results meet the "very valid" standard with 90%, while media experts' percentage results meet the "very valid" criteria with 85%. The student trial's findings demonstrated that this media is user-friendly and effective at enhancing comprehension of the subject matter. With an 84.05% percentage score on the student trial questionnaire, students responded favorably to this media. It demonstrated that the created media may be used as an educational tool to teach pupils about linear equations and inequalities in one-variable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Elektronik (E-LKPD) berbasis Discovery Learning menggunakan platform liveworksheet, serta menganalisis efektivitas penggunaannya berdasarkan kesiapan belajar siswa. E-LKPD dikembangkan untuk mendukung pembelajaran matematika pada materi aritmetika sosial kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Gresik. Proyek ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika serta kurangnya bahan ajar interaktif yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan belajar mereka. Model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) digunakan dalam proses penelitian ini. Uji coba dilakukan pada kelompok kecil siswa dengan tiga kategori kesiapan belajar: butuh bantuan, berkembang, dan mahir. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes diagnostik kesiapan belajar, validasi ahli, tes hasil belajar, dan angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD yang dikembangkan tergolong sangat valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan, pemahaman, serta hasil belajar siswa. Kesimpulannya, E-LKPD berbasis liveworksheet dengan model Discovery Learning dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang interaktif, adaptif, dan bermakna sesuai kesiapan belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research attempts to create LKPD-based instructional materials based on Contextual Teaching and Learning on Relation and Function that are workable, useful, and impact the learning outcomes of MTs Rahmatullah Mesuji Raya OKI Regency's class VIII pupils. Quantitative descriptive approach is used in this study. Using strategies for research and development. Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation are the five steps of the ADDIE development model, which is followed in the development process.  Questionnaires and tests were employed to collect data. To gather and analyze the data, test data analysis methods, practicality questionnaires, and validity questionnaires were employed. The results (1) MTs Rahmatullah Mesuji Raya Learner Worksheet (LKPD) on CTL-based relation and function material is qualitatively valid. The findings of validators from the Development stage, who evaluated the characteristics of language, construct, and content, confirmed the validity of the evaluation of this LKPD. (2) The CTL-based LKPD is considered very practical considering the developed relations and functions. This practicality was transferred to the large group trial based on the results of the learner response questionnaire at the small group trial implementation stage. (3) LKPD based on contextual teaching and learning (CTL) can influence the learning outcomes of students through the relationship and function-based approach. This is indicated by the learning outcomes of students who are included in the very good category with a completeness rate of 81.2% and a very good category.
