Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah mendeskripsikan penggunaanalat peraga pita mobius untuk siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Pita mobius yang menunjukkan bahwa pita yang memiliki dua sisi dapat berubah menjadi pita yang hanya menpunyai satu sisi dengan mengajak siswa membuat dan menggunakan lansgsung dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan pengalaman lansung tersebut diharapkan sisa termotivasi pada motivasi intrinstik berdasarkan pengalaman optimal sehingga siswa senang dan mampu dalam tantangan yang pembelajaran matematika.Kata kunci: Alat Peraga, Pita Mobius, Motivasi

Abstract

This research aimed to produce learning trajectory in learning algorithm to find equivalent fractions using Lego in fourth grade. This study was associated with thematic integrative learning curriculum 2013 based PMRI. The method used was design research of type validation study that aimed to prove the theories of learning. Design research that consists of three stages; preliminary design, teaching experiments, and retrospective analysis were chosen to achieve the research objectives by designed Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT). The research was conducted on 21 students of class IV SDN 16 Lembak. This study aimed to investigate how Lego can help students to learning equivalent fraction. Students learning activities that were conducted including: 1) determine the fractions using lego, 2) determine the equivalent fraction of fractions formed from Lego, and 3) connect the concept of equivalent fraction to the standard algorithm to find equivalent fractions. The results of this study indicate that a series of activities can help students in learning equivalent fraction.

Abstract

This study aimed to produce valid and practical student worksheets based on Problem Based Learning at the implementation of row and series at XI grade in MAN Palembang. The research method was used a development research method consisting of the Preliminary stage (the analysis and designing phase) and the prototyping stage using formative evaluation flow (self-evaluation, one to one, small groups, and field tests). Data collection was carried out using walkthrough sheets, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were students of XI grade with a total of the sample was 46 students. From the research results, obtained a valid and practical worksheet by looking at comments/suggestions from the validator and students adjusted for indicator of validity and practicality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD berbasis pendekatan PMRI pada materi tabung yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang terdiri dari tahap preliminary dan tahap prototyping menggunakan formative evaluation alur Tessmer yang terdiri dari self evaluation, expert review, one to one, small group, dan field test. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah walkthorugh, dokumentasi, angket respon peserta didik, dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) penelitian ini telah menghasilkan LKPD berbasis pendekatan PMRI yang valid berdasarkan komentar dan saran yang diberikan validator dan dinyatakan valid oleh validator pada tahap expert review. (2) penelitian ini telah menghasilkan LKPD berbasis pendekatan PMRI yang praktis berdasarkan hasil perhitungan angket respon peserta didik pada tahap one to one, small group, dan field test.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penggunaan konteks buah jambu biji dalam pengembangan LKPD berbasis pendekatan PMRI merupakan salah satu konteks yang dapat digunakan dalam pemahaman konsep pada materi bola. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD pada materi bola berbasis pendekatan PMRI yang telah memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang dilaksanakan sesuai alur desain pengembangan Tessmer yaitu formative evaluation, yang meliputi tahap self evaluation, expert review dan one to one, small group, dan field test. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IX SMPN 40 Palembang yang berjumlah 30 orang peserta didik. Teknik Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan lembar  walkthrough, angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Melalui tahapan Tessmer diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa LKPD pada materi bola berbasis pendekatan PMRI ini memenuhi kriteria valid berdasarkan komentar dan saran pada tahap self evaluation dan expert review, sedangkan praktis berdasarkan hasil rekapitulasi angket pada tahap one to one, small group, dan field test.Kata-kata kunci: Pengembangan, LKPD, PMRI, Bola, Tessmer.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) dengan model Learning Cycle 5E pada materi matriks untuk siswa SMA Kelas XI yang memiliki kualitas valid, praktis, serta memiliki efek potensial terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik berdasarkan persentase kriteria ketuntasan minimal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang memiliki lima tahapan yaitu tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluate. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian, yaitu Lembar penilaian LKPD untuk validator ahli materi dan ahli media, angket respon peserta didik, dan tes hasil belajar peserta didik. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Lilin. Hasil penelitian yaitu: 1) penilaian kriteria kevalidan LKPD dari ahli materi sebesar 88,66% dengan kriteria “sangat valid” dan ahli media sebesar 84% dengan kriteria “Sangat valid” sehingga LKPD dinyatakan layak untuk diuji cobakan; 2) penilaian LKPD untuk kriteria kepraktisan memperoleh persentase sebesar 81,77% dengan kriteria “sangat praktis”; 3) penilaian LKPD dengan kriteria memiliki efek potensial terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dilihat berdasarkan persentase kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) ≥75 dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 81,25% dengan kriteria “sangat efek potensial” sehingga LKPD dinyatakan memiliki efek potensial terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik berdasarkan persentase kriteria ketuntasan minimal.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the CPS learning model on mathematical adaptive reasoning ability in terms of students' entrepreneurial character. This research is quantitative research of the quasi-experimental research design with a posttest-only control group design. The population was the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Natar, consisting of 367 students. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The data analysis technique employed was the two-way Anova test with a significance level of 0.05. The finding showed that there was an effect of the CPS learning model on students' mathematical adaptive reasoning ability. The CPS learning model provided higher results compared to the conventional learning model. Besides, the students' entrepreneurial character influenced their mathematical adaptive reasoning ability. Students with high entrepreneurial character had higher mathematical adaptive reasoning ability than those with low entrepreneurial character. However, the Tukey test result showed no interaction between the CPS learning model and entrepreneurial character on students' mathematical adaptive reasoning ability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) method on students' mathematical communication abilities. The type of research used is a Quasi-Experimental type (pseudo-experimental) and uses the True Experimental Design research design with the Posttest-Only Controll form. The research was conducted at SMP Ikhlasiyah Palembang with a population of all students of class VII consisting of 2 classes. The sample were taken from all members of all population so that class VII.1 as the experimental class was given treatment, namely the Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) method and class VII.2 as the control class which was not given treatment, namely the conventional method. Research data was collected through tests. Based on the analysis of the test results, it shows that the students' mathematical communication skills in the experimental class are higher than those in the control class. This means that the class that was treated with the TAPPS method affected students' mathematical communication skills. Statistical calculations obtained from the test results yield tcount = 2.944 and ttable = 2.013, so that tcount > ttable which causes H0 to be rejected and H1 to be accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) method on the mathematical communication abilities of class VII students of SMP Ikhlasiyah Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to produce valid PISA type questions in the context of Covid-19. The method in this research is design research research method with the type of development studies or development research. This research data collection technique by means of documentation, video recordings, and interviews. This study involved 4 validators including 3 PISA expert validators and students researching PISA. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 21 Batam who were carried out online and using the Zoom application. This study resulted in six valid PISA type questions in the context of Covid-19 at levels 1 to 6. One of the questions developed was the increase in Covid-19 cases by calculating the increase in Covid-19 cases in Jakarta Province. Based on the results of the expert review stage, the questions submitted are valid, seen from the results of comments by the validator based on content, construct and language. In the one-to-one stage, two of the three subjects were able to understand the questions well, when analyzing and understanding the PISA type question questions.
