<![CDATA[The development of computerized accounting technology made the addition of accounting software developed. Everyone who is involved in the field of accounting is required to be able to operate computerized accounting. Accurate is one of the most frequently used apps by many companies in Indonesia, this can be seen from the number of job vacancies with criteria able to operate accurate. The purpose of this training was to improve the competence of computerized accounting, especially accurate. Not all vocational students recognize accurate as a practical and easy to operate application. Accurate is very important to be mastered by vocational students so they have value added to compete in the world of work. This training was part of community service. SMK Yapin was a school that is the target of training activities. The training provided includes: knowledge of features in the accurate software, initial database preparation in accurate software using advanced preparation, data entry process in sales module, data entry process in purchasing module, data entry process in cash module, bank and general journals, also checking the financial statements. The training was conducted in one day and divided into two sessions. The conclusion was that the training was very successful and add insight and skills for teachers and students of SMK Yapin.]]>

<![CDATA[Program Pengabdian Masyarakat Kerjasama Dosen mahasiswa (PPM_KDM) adalah Penyuluhan untuk ibu rumah tangga tentang biodisel dari limbah ikan. Pengabdian ini menitik beratkan pada pemanfaatan limbah ikan yang ada di sekitaran Pasar 26 Ilir Palembang. Limbah ikan biasanya menjadi salah satu penyebab pencemaran lingkungan dengan bau menyengat dan sangat mengganggu akibat kerumunan lalat. Kategori limbah adalah sampah. Pengabdian ini memfokuskan melakukan penyuluhan disertai demo lagsung tentang bagaimana mengolah limbah ikan hingga menjadi bahan bakar. Objek penyuluhan adalah ibu rumah tangga di RT.30/10 Lunjuk Jaya. Tahapan kegiatan ini di lakukan mulai bulan Agustus sampai dengan bulan Desember 2016. Dimana peserta penyuluhan terdiri dari 20 sampai 25 orang masyarakat. Tahap – tahap pengabdian ini yaitu Pra interaksi, Introduksi atau Orientasi, Kerja, Terminasi proses, dan Terminasi akhir.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is to know teachers’ perceptions on methods of teaching English for classes with mixed-English proficiency students: primary, elementary, intermediate, and advance levels. These methods were some differentiated instructions taught in training to teachers of English as a community service activity which conducted to the teachers of English at Lembaga Bahasa (LB) Bagus Palembang. In this training, the participants learned the methods because they did not get the knowledge in their pre-service teacher training. They only had teaching methods for classes with one level of English proficiency. After they completed the training, they were monitored during the methods application in order to find their perceptions on teaching such class. The data were gathered via observations in the class during the monitoring. The observation data were, then, matched to the data from semi-structured interviews to know the participants’ perception on the methods in their classes. The research revealed that the methods were proven to increase students’ participation in class with notification to high proficiency ones. However, it was not possible to suggest other best practices for dealing with all students in that class because not all practices work in a mixed-English proficiency class.]]>

<![CDATA[Kain songket Palembang adalah salah satu h a s i l kerajinan t e n u n khas daerah Sumatera Selatan, dikenal dengan nama songket Palembang, dibuat dari bahan dasar benang sutera dan benang mas melalui proses penenunan, merupakan warisan budaya daerah, khususnya Palembang dan Sumatera Selatan pada umumnya. Kain songket Palembang telah dikenal di berbagai daerah kabupaten kota di Indonesia bahkan manca negara diantaranya Malaysia, Brunai Darussalam, Singapura, Jepang serta beberapa konsumen dari Eropa yang sangat berpotensi untuk dapat dikembangkan. Namun dalam hal pemasaran, khususnya pada usaha kecil menengah Tenun Songket Romlah Fauzi mengalami permasalahan tentang manajemen pemasaran, secara tidak langsung berdampak pada peningkatan omset. Salah satu upaya untuk memenuhi peningkatan omset tersebut perlu dilakukan upaya perbaikan manajemen pemasaran. Tujuan Penelitian adalah membantu UKM tenun songket Romlah Fauzi khususnya dalam upaya meningkatkan omset melalui perbaikan pengetahuan tentang manajemen p e ma s a r a n . Metode yang diterapkan dengan melakukan perbaikan sistem manajemen pemasaran (promo produk berbasis web) yang diawali dengan kontrol kualitas benang, produk jadi (desain motif), proses produksi. Ruang lingkup penelitian adalah perbaikan manajemen pemasaran melalui keterampilan sumber daya manusia berbasis web dengan tolok ukur peningkatan omset. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan (2017) setelah diterapkan perbaikan terhadap manajemen pemasaran berbasis web menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan omset rata-rata sebesar33,29% dibandingkan tahun terakhir 2014/2015.]]>

<![CDATA[Provision of spare parts for production equipment needs to be prepared with specifications, number of needs and correct time of availability, and especially for critical machining components that require correct and appropriate tactics so as not to disrupt its continuity of production. However, it is not a secret for a production department to make replacement parts that have the same mechanical properties through hardness testing of components that have failed. Through a computer program with an algorithm that is able to read a photo as a result of an indentation emphasis on hardness test, it can be known quickly a roundness diameter and calculate its hardness value which will be converted into one of the mechanical properties of a material so that a profile projector is not needed. Core of this implementation of our community service program is through an assignment scheme for employees of PT. Sri Trang Lingga Palembang, located on road TPA 2, RT. 26, RW. 29, Keramasan Subdistrict, Kertapati, Palembang City, South Sumatra, postal code 30149 is how to provide theoretical and experimental knowledge of the implementation of hardness tests on metal materials by emphasizing use of computer algorithms in reading photos of indentation hardness test results as an alternative to replacement use profile projector tool that is usually used for students of D-IV Mechanical Engineering Production and Maintenance (TMPP) Department of Mechanical Engineering Sriwijaya State Polytechnic to determine size of the indentation diameter emphasis from Brinnel hardness test.]]>

<![CDATA[Sukabangun is one of the Sukarami sub-districts in the city of Palembang, South Sumatra, which can be reached approximately 20 minutes from the Sriwijaya State Polytechnic.The targets and outcomes expected from this dedication are the emergence of awareness to utilize Manihot Glaviozii which is rarely used by the society for daily needs, increase business opportunities and create workforce for the local and surrounding society which are still unemployed and teenagers who are no longer attending school and make a mocaf flour as an alternative to wheat flour.The implementation methods of this dedication that is applied includes Presentations and interactive discussions conducted for the targets, namely the residents of Sukarame sub-district, presentation material namely knowledge of processing mocaf flour from Manihot Glaviozii, displaying and giving banners for example mocaf flour, showing a mocaf flour has been processed, digging up the absorption of participants in interactive discussions through question and answer. From the result of this dedication is the residents get the knowledge about the processing of Manihot Glaviozii becomes mocaf flour as an alternative wheat flour so that, it will impact for the economic society in Sukabangun, Sukarame sub-district, Palembang city.]]>

<![CDATA[Female prisoners in these prisons become prisoners because they are entangled in various types of criminal law with various crimes committed by women such as due to many factors, leading to reasons for fulfilling the needs of those concerned. For this reason, there is a need for guidance for female prisoners as a form of self-empowerment to improve human resources in the form of life skills. Coaching skills provided by the Proposal Community Procurement team, namely training in the form of handicraft knitting. Knitted handicrafts that have been produced by inmates at the A Way Hui class II prisons include prayer hats, cellphone wallets, restleting wallets, and various kinds of brooches. Knitted products have a fairly high exclusivity value. These female prisoners are expected to succeed in making / producing creative and innovative knitted works seen from various aspects, namely aspects of material selection aspects, in addition the female prisoners are also given training to determine the cost of production and cost of goods sold from their knits.]]>

<![CDATA[One reason is that the process of learning mathematics related to geometry is not yet optimal, it is the difficulty of the teacher to visualize abstract geometrical objects. Geogebra software can be used as a tool to construct, demonstrate or visualize abstract problems in learning geometry material. The problem faced by partners in implementing the geometry learning process by using Geogebra's assistance as a learning medium is the low knowledge of teachers in the use of Geogebra software and the low skills of teachers in using Geogebra software in learning geometry material. In an effort to overcome partner problems, the solution offered was to provide training and assistance to the Geogebra application to junior high school mathematics teachers in Banyuasin III to assist them in the process of learning mathematics. This activity includes theory, practice, and exercises given to participants so that skilled participants use Geogebra. This activity has succeeded in increasing teacher skills in knowledge and skills using Geogebra software for Mathematics learning. Participants understand the use of this software and are also skilled at using it for learning geometry material. This activity has also produced several instructional materials for Geogebra software assisted geometry materials.]]>

<![CDATA[Human resources in companies that understand accounting and tax become indispensable. The accounting department is a formal education provider of accounting services, this is the need to equip students to get a good understanding of tax accounting. The problem is learning in the accounting department, that are no tax or accounting courses accounting topics. In the current accounting curriculum, the curriculum is only the focus of finance generally and have not touched tax accounting. The team has implemented a service program in partnership with the accounting department in solving the problem. This program is aimed at increasing the competency and insight of students majoring in accounting, especially recording tax transactions. The training method was conducted face-to-face and frequently asked questions related to the technical recording of tax transactions. The training was attended by 53 participants from 3 invited classes. Overall this training has been performing well. From these activities that students can understand that a transaction tax is a part of the transaction recorded by the accounting department.]]>
