Abstract

Literacy is the ability to find, observe, understand and communicate information that is owned by each individual to improve the quality of life in a sustainable manner. At the elementary school level, literacy is a basic need that must be grown. This literacy growth can be realized through the Madrasah Literacy Movement through daily activities organized by the school in stages.. The literacy movement carried out by schools refers to the literacy movement guidelines that have been compiled and determined by the Directorate General of Primary and Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture. The aim of this research is: (1) Describe the strategy of the head of school in development Literacy Madrasah in the MI Taufiqul Hidayah Randubango. (2) Analyzing the implementation of madrasah principals in the Implementation of Literacy Madrasah in the MI Taufiqul Hidayah Randubango. (3) Analyzing the constraints in the implementation of Literacy Madrasah in the MI Taufiqul Hidayah Randubango. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. In this study, researchers are actively involved and go directly to the field to understand the phenomenon and maintain the naturalness of the data. The techniques used by researchers to collect data are interviews, observation, and documentation. In addition, data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Furthermore, to check the validity of the research data using repeated observations, triangulation of sources and peer discussion. The results of the study show that: Principal's Strategy in Developing Madrasah Literacy in the MI Taufiqul Hidayah 1. The literacy madrasah development strategy is as follows: 1) KKG mini meeting and 2) make literacy class. 3) literacy program preparation, 4) classroom facility management 5) arrange RPP, 6) make a schedule of activities, 7) Reading corner management. Implementation of the Head of Madrasah Strategy in Madrasah Literacy Development in MI Taufiqul Hidayah The implementation of literacy madrasa development is as follows: 1) Routine activities are a) read tahlil on thursday, b) dhuha and dhuhur prayers in congregation Monday to Thursday c) the habit of reading Asma'ul Husna and singing national songs d) qiro'ah in the mosque on Friday and, e) istiqosah saturday. f), program 1 semester 1 book.g) Read a book about 15 minutes, h) activities responding to reading books, i) penggunaan sudut baca. 2) Incidental activities. 2. Barriers to Madrasah Literacy Development in the MI Taufiqul Hidayah Randubango as follows: 1) procurement or funding for new books, 2) limited number of reading books, especially textbooks, 3) newly renovated library room and still need additional reference books, 4) low interest in reading.

Abstract

This research was taken place in SDN Genukwatu 1 which aims to determine the leadership management function of the Principal at SDN Genukwatu 1 and the principal's efforts in realizing the Adiwiyata school. The study used qualitative methods with data collection techniques of participation observation, interviews, and documentation. Sources of data in this study were the principal, Adiwiyata Team, and students. To check the validity of the data, researchers used triangulation. The results of this study indicate, 1) The principal implements four management functions in implementing the Adiwiyata program. It is proven in the field that principals carry out management functions starting from planning (Developing vision, mission, goals, curriculum documents, and middle-term school programs), organizing (compiling the Adiwiyata team), implementing, and controlling (monitoring and evaluating) the programs being run, 2) The principal takes managerial steps and implements strategies to realize the Adiwiyata school. Principals also develop policies to support the implementation of the school's Adiwiyata program.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the cooperative relationship between teachers and parents in increasing student motivation. This type of research is quantitative correlation. The population in this study were 33 students in class V-C at UPT SD Negeri 220 Gresik. Data collection techniques in the form of documentation, interviews, and scales. The analysis technique used is the product moment correlation technique with the results of the research showing that there is a correlation from the cooperative relationship between teachers and parents in increasing student learning motivation. The form of a cooperative relationship between teachers and parents that is implemented at UPT SD Negeri 220 Gresik includes meeting activities that discuss learning, problems with students, and development at school. In addition, there is a form of communication that is carried out through group forums for class V-C associations. Communication is carried out to exchange information between the school and parents regarding learning problems in students so that they can be solved together. Based on the test results through the statistical package for social science (SPSS) on a scale of cooperative relations between teachers and parents with 15 question items having an average value of 70.79 with a very high rating score category. On the learning motivation scale with 10 question items, it has an average of 46.52 with a high rating score category. To determine the existence of a correlation in a data, it can be stated that if the data has a value of <0.05 then there is a correlation, and if the data is > 0.05 then there is no correlation. These results are evident from the results of the significance of 0.000 <0.05 so that the hypothesis can be stated that there is a correlation of the cooperative relationship between teachers and parents in increasing student learning motivation at UPT SD Negeri 220 Gresik.

Abstract

The purpose of publishing this article is to describe the development strategy for the tahfidz Al-Qur'an class program at MTsN 3 Mojokerto in terms of planning, implementation, and valuation. This research belongs to the type of qualitative research, qualitative research in which all the data used cannot be measured with definite numbers but places more emphasis on meaning. This research is a type of field research because the researcher is present directly in the field or research location, namely Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Mojokerto, the following stages will be explained: (a) Basic objectives for developing the tahfidz al-Qur'an class program, (b) Determining content or material tahfidz al-qur'an class program at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Mojokerto, (c) Using lesson time allocation, (d) making learning planning tools. At the implementation stage of the Tahfidzul Qur'an Program includes preliminary activities, core activities and closing activities. At the evaluation stage of the development of the tahfidz class program through 5 evaluation stages, namely: formative evaluation, summative evaluation, context evaluation, input evaluation and process evaluation.

Abstract

This research was taken place in MI Al Hidayah Trowulan which aims to determine the teacher's Strategy in Learning Aqidah Akhlak at MI Al Hidayah Trowulan Trowulan District and knowing the Implications of Teacher's Strategies in Learning Aqidah Akhlak at MI Al Hidayah Trowulan Trowulan District. The study used qualitative methods with data collection techniques of participation observation, interviews, and documentation. Sources of data in this study were the strategy, learning, and Aqidah Akhlaq. To check the validity of the data, researchers used triangulation. The results of this study indicate, 1) The Teacher's Strategies in Learning Aqidah Akhlak at MI Al Hidayah Trowulan were: Responsibility, Discipline, Discussion, Creativity, Innovativeness, Making learning tools, Collaboration, Preparing data collection administration, Aqidah Akhlak teachers applying learning strategies so that students more easily grasped, understand, understand, and practice, and use the strategies that have been prepared 2) The implications of Teacher Strategy in Learning Aqidah Akhlak at MI Al Hidayah Trowulan, namely Learning to be Effective, Competence or learning objectives are achieved, Support, motivation and collaboration so that learning objectives are achieved, Living and practicing Islamic teachings about morals, Living and believing with the right beliefs, Understanding and understand commendable morals and stay away from despicable morals, Improving the quality of learning, Improving students' affective, cognitive and psychomotor abilities, and In Aqidah Akhlak learning strategies students are able to practice commendable morals, and Worship becomes active and istiqomah, sorting and choosing relationships.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of leadership as well as supporting and inhibiting factors for school principals towards the professionalism of post-certified teachers at SMP N I Pundong Bantul Yogyakarta. This research is a qualitative research. The writer used qualitative research to explain the data that the writer got from the results of observations, interviews and documentation that the writer did in the field. In data analysis, researchers used Miles and Huberman's data analysis, which consisted of reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and verification. In testing the validity of the data, researchers used a method and source triangulation technique. The results showed that post-certification professionalism at SMP Negeri 1 Pundong Bantul Yogyakarta was seen from 3 aspects, namely, having DIII/S1 academic qualifications, judging from the academic qualifications of the 20 post-certification teachers that the authors examined, class teachers had bachelor degrees strata 1 (S1) there are only 2 teachers who still have DIII/BA qualifications. Have an educator certificate in accordance with the field. Having competence, of the 20 post-certification teachers that the author examined, overall the teachers have mastered 4 competencies well where the four competencies that must be possessed by teachers are: pedagogic competence, personal competence, social competence and professional competence. Supporting factors for the leadership of the principal for post-certification teacher professionalism at SMP N 1 Pundong Bantul Yogyakarta, namely the existence of certification allowances that have been obtained by teachers, can increase enthusiasm and high discipline and build cooperation (cohesiveness) at work. While the inhibiting factor for the head of SMP N 1 Pundong Bantul Yogyakarta is the large burden on teachers with administration that must be met by teachers. Haven't tested the importance of technological media in adequate learning. The establishment of a building across the street makes it less intensive in supervision, student background influences student achievement, limited time to supervise teachers in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the condition of the HDI/IPM of the State of Indonesia being ranked 6th in Asean, the unemployment rate based on the highest high school education level, 80% of students did not continue their education and the need for good management skills program management. The problem formulation includes how to program skills, how to implement Skills Program management and what are the advantages and disadvantages of skills programs at MA NU Sunan Giri Prigen Kabupaten Pasuruan. This study has a purpose to describe the Skills Program, to analyze the implementation of Skills Program management and to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the Skills Program. The research approach used is qualitative research with the type of research being case study research. The main instrument in this research is the researcher himself. The data obtained consisted of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis consists of 3 (three) parts, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study concluded that the Skills Program, starting from: Student selection, supporting facilities and infrastructure, teacher skills, Skills Program curriculum, Study time span, learning process, additional treatment outside and the existence of street vendors at the end of the program. Abstract

This thesis discusses the Managerial Application of Principals in Improving Teacher Performance at Junior High School of Hasan Munadi Beji, Pasuruan Regency. This study aims to: 1) Competence of principals in planning to improve teacher performance at Junior High School of Hasan Munadi Beji, Pasuruan Regency. 2) The competence of the principal in organizing teacher performance improvement at Junior High School of Hasan Munadi Beji, Pasuruan Regency. 3) Competence of school principals in implementing teacher performance improvement in Pasuruan Regency Junior High Schools. 4) Supporting and inhibiting factors of principal managerial competence in improving teacher performance at Junior High School of Hasan Munadi Beji, Pasuruan Regency. This study uses 2 data sources, namely data taken from direct subjects (primary) and data taken from documents (secondary). For data collection in this study using 3 techniques, including: observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis technique is described by reducing the data, then the data is displayed and the last step is drawn into data conclusions or verification (conclusion drawing/verification). The results of this study indicate that the process of implementing principal managerial in improving teacher performance at Hasan Munadi Beji Middle School, Pasuruan Regency includes planning, organizing, implementing efforts to improve teacher performance is quite good. In knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors, several factors that can support the principal's managerial and several factors that can hinder the principal's managerial management have been clearly exposed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leadership style of the kiai in managing tertiary institutions, as well as to analyze the governance of tertiary institutions on the UNU Sunan Giri Bojonegoro campus. UNU Sunan Giri is one of the private campuses under the auspices of PBNU. On January 28 2021 KH. Jauharul Ma'arif, M.Pd.I officially became Chancellor of UNU Sunan Giri. In such a long journey, the UNU Sunan Giri campus requires good governance or Good University Governance (GUG), so that Jauharul Ma'arif's leadership will determine the fate of UNU Sunan Giri in the future. As a serang kiai who leads the university, of course, he has his own characteristics in managing the UNU Sunan Giri Bojonegoro college. The method in this study is a type of qualitative research using a case study approach. The location of this research is on the UNU Sunan Giri Bojonegoro campus. Data was collected through participatory observation, structured interviews and through documentation. Data analysis in this study used the Miles and Huberman models, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. As for the results of this study, it can be concluded that the kiai's leadership style in managing tertiary institutions at UNU Sunan Giri Bojonegoro is confirmed to be a charismatic - autocratic and democratic style. As well as the governance of tertiary institutions at UNU Sunan Giri Bojonegoro showing the nuances of being transparent internally but lacking externally, adequate accountability, fulfilling responsibility, creating equality, and demonstrating sufficient independence

Abstract

Human resource management as a strategic approach to the skills, development motivation and management of organizing human resources to achieve the goals of the institution. A teacher who is said to be professional is a teacher who has special abilities and expertise in the field of teaching. So that teachers are able to carry out their duties and functions as teachers with maximum abilities. Research focus: 1) How is the human resource planning for SDIT Al Adzkia teachers? 2) How is the development of human resources in increasing the professionalism of SDIT Al Adzkia teachers? The purpose of this study is to describe teacher human resource planning and human resource development in increasing teacher professionalism at SDIT Al Adzkia This study uses a descriptive approach and the type is qualitative. Data collection techniques are: (1) Interview (2) Observation and (3) Documentation. While the data analysis with the steps: (1) data collection, (2) data presentation and, (3) drawing conclusions. For the validity of the data using source triangulation. Findings: 1) The principal of SDIT Al Adzkia Jombang plans, implements and evaluates work programs, such as improving the quality of educator resources, making semester programs together with teachers, teacher training activities and implementing teacher delegation in periodic workshops/ training/ guidance activities. At the beginning of each school year, all deputy principals make plans for school activities and budgets, especially the curriculum in which there is a Human Resources Development Program that handles the needs and development of educator resources. 2) Teacher training and development aims to discover and bring out the potential that exists in teachers for the purpose of developing professionalism and strengthening the academic insight of educators, both in terms of competence, managerial, and behavior, so as to make a positive contribution to schools that are continuously in accordance with developments. competition and positions in science, the expectations of the potential and knowledge of teachers are increasing and developing so that they have a positive effect on the progress of the school's qualifications and competencies. A teacher must always upgrade the knowledge they have, because educators are agents of learning and role models for their students.
