Abstract

Claystone is rock contained generally of plastic, composed of a hydrous aluminum silicate (2H2OAL2O32SiO2) or fine grain size clay minerals. At the time of the construction of the Banjarbakula Regional TPA, there was found quite a lot of claystone material, of which there were more than 8000 m3 of claystone. Because they were not utilized properly, most of the claystone was removed and moved from the Banjarbakula Regional TPA. Therefore, it is necessary to reuse it, so the large amount of claystone material will not be wasted and can be optimally used. This study was conducted to determine the effect of claystone found in the Banjarbakula Regional TPA as an alternative to fine aggregate substitute for the quality of paving blocks and to determine the optimum mixture. In making paving block samples, variations of claystone were used as much as 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% with water to cement ratio 0.4. The compressive strength test of paving block samples was carried out at the age of 7 and 28 days. Based on the results of the compressive strength test, the compressive strength value of paving blocks with 25% claystone mixture at the age of 28 days is 18.08 Mpa, which is the closest to the strength of normal paving blocks or without claystone mixtures of 18.24 MPa. The strength of a paving block with claystone mixture might increase with longer duration of the curing time.

Abstract

Building portals with profile steel construction are very commonly used. However, with the potential for earthquakes in Indonesia which has a very large risk, the geometry of the portal must be given structural elements that can increase the lateral stiffness of the structure. One of the innovations to improve the lateral stiffness of the building portal is to provide a structural element in the form of a shearwall. Steel plate shearwall is one of the structural elements that serve to withstand lateral loads on a building, one of which is earthquake loads. Steel plate shearwall has a high slenderness rate. So that the lateral load will cause a large buckling problem in the shearwall plate. Corrugated steel plate is one of the innovations to solve the buckling problem. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the wave plate shape on the shearwall. This research was conducted using numerical analysis using the ANSYS program to see thebehavior and strength of the steel plate shearwall. The shearwall models analyzed are beam-column frame type, shearwall with flat steel plate, and shearwall with corrugated steel plate, which is given a static lateral load at one end. This study shows that the yield load on the beam-column frame is 1400 kN, the shearwall for the flat steel plate is 1850 kN, and the shearwall for the corrugated steel plate is 2035 kN. The corrugated plate's geometric pattern obtained an increase in yield load of 9% compared to the flat plate. The buckling pattern that occurs in the flat plate shearwall and wave plate is diagonal shear buckling in the center area of the plate.

Abstract

Minimizing damage to the container yard area (container stacking), where the most extreme conditions occur when there are 4 containers placed close to one foot supporting at one point, and taking into account that each container is stacked 5 tiers with a weight of 30.48 tonf for the type of container is 40 feet and the weight is 24.0 tonf for the type of container 20 feet. So that in a set of container feet, the load can be accumulated 4 x [5 x (30,48)] / 4 = 152.4 tonf (40 feet) and 120.0 tonf (20 feet). This paper discusses the need for the use of container pads in the Modified Chicken Claw pavement system which is applied to the container yard ex area. Semen Tonasa Trisakti Harbor, where the determination of the pad points made 3 simulations, each simulation accommodated 24 points of Modified Chicken Claw Pipe (CAM). From the simulation is to determine the magnitude of the displacement and differential settlement that occurs due to the load of the container.

Abstract

Martapura River is a river that crosses Banjar Regency and Banjarmasin City which is included in the watershed. This river empties into the Barito River, whose upstream is the junction between the Riam Kiwa River and the Riam Kanan River. Sub-watershed E is part of the Martapura watershed. The water balance is an analysis of the results of the approach to the values of hydrological processes that occur in the field. The Water Balance method is used to compare availability of water with the existing water needs. The purpose of this research is the availability of a water balance calculation that can be used as a basis for generating the concept of the water allocation in the form of an annual water supply plan. Analysis of water availability is based on the calculation of the base flow rate calculated by FJ Mock. The results of the calculation of the water balance in the dry year (80%) experienced a surplus.

Abstract

The opening in the castellated steel beam body affects the increase in the flexural capacity and the shear capacity of the steel beam. The research was conducted by determining the span of elements of conventional steel beams and castellated steel beams which have the same length. Steel beams are subjected to two concentrated loads at two points in 1/3 of the span. This study concludes that the effect of the geometric opening on the castellated steel beam will decrease the shear capacity. At the hexagonal opening angle of 45°-50° there is a decrease in shear capacity of about 18%. The optimum shear capacity value occurs at an opening angle of 20° with a decrease in shear capacity of 3%. The failure pattern that occurs is diagonal buckling (buckling due to shear) of the body at 1/3 of the span.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of the intersection of Jalan A. Yani - Jalan Baco, Tabalong Regency with the direct observation method in the field and data analysis following the standard guidelines of the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) method and assisted by the KAJI software. From the analysis and calculation results, the current data for the peak hour that occurs is 17.20-18.20. The results obtained from the existing conditions of the intersection include Degree of Saturation (DS) = 0.525, Intersection Delay (D) = 9.28, and Queuing Opportunity (Qp) = 19%, with service level of B (still meeting applicable requirements). Then forecasting is done so that the 5-year intersection does not meet the requirements with DS = 0.853, D = 14.19, and Qp = 44%. The alternative solution used for the next 5 years is to change the unsignalized intersection to a 3-phase signalized intersection (with widening) which is seen from the average delay of the intersection of 20.95 seconds/pcu, the degree of saturation is 0.

Abstract

Slums are settlements that are unfit for habitation due to the irregularity of the building, the high level of building density, and the quality of the buildings and facilities and infrastructure that do not meet the requirements. Banjar Regency is one of the settlements in South Kalimantan Province which has slum areas, namely in Simpang Warga Dalam Village (Aluh-Aluh District), and Muara Halayung Village (Lucky Baru District). In order to improve the quality of slum settlements in Banjar Regency, it is necessary to identify the condition of slums which is an effort to determine the level of slums in a settlement so that the handling of facilities and infrastructure needs can be determined. The identification carried out by analyzing the slum level based on the 2016 PUPR Ministerial Regulation. Implementation is carried out based on the results of survey data, and analysis of the calculation of the slum level scoring assessment. From the results of the analysis, it is known that the classification of the level of slums in Simpang Warga Dalam Village, Aluh-Aluh District is included in the Heavy Slum category, and Muara Halayung Village, Lucky Baru District is included in the Light Slum category.
