Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of discovery learning methods on students' critical thinking skills. The study population was all students of class X in SMA Negeri 2 Lembang and the research sample was class X IPS 1 as an experimental class and X IPS 3 as a control class with a total of 38 students each. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental. Data collection techniques used are description tests (pretest and posttest) with data processing techniques validity test, reliability test, difficulty level test, differentiation power test, normality test, homogeneity test, t-test, hypothesis test. Based on the results of this research shows that there is an increase in the critical thinking skills of the experimental class students compared to the control class students in responding to the material presented using the discovery learning method it can be seen from the highest experimental class posttest score of 95 while the highest control class posttest score is 78. Testing Post-test hypothesis (t-test) can be seen that the significant probability value or p-value is 0.019 or smaller than 0.05 or 5%, which means the discovery learning method influences the critical thinking ability of students in SMA N 2 Lembang in class X IPS in economic subjects.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh metode pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Lembang dan sampelnya penelitian yaitu kelas X IPS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X IPS 3 sebagai kelas control dengan masing-masing jumlah sebanyak 38 siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes uraian (Pretes dan postes) dengan teknik pengolahan data uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji tingkat kesukaran, uji daya pembeda, uji normalitas, uji homogenitan, uji-t, uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitin ini menujukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen dibanding siswa kelas kontrol dalam menanggapi materi yang disampaikan dengan menggunakan metode discovery learning hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai postest kelas eksperimen tertinggi yaitu 95 sedangkan nilai postest kelas kontrol tertinggi yaitu 78. Pengujian Hipotesis (Uji-t) postest dapat dilihat bahwa nilai probabilitas signifikan atau p-valuenya adalah 0,019 atau lebih kecil dari 0,05 atau 5% yang artinya metode discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didikdi SMA N 2 Lembang pada kelas X IPS pada mata pelajaran ekonomi.

Abstract

This article is concerned with the conception of education for immigrants in the middle of the indigenous majority. As it is known that the movement of people from one place to another is a common and this effect on people’s lives, both migrants and natives. These conditions further reinforce the diversity of Indon esian society and encourage the need for multicultural education. Feature of the present time that every student h as the same rights in acquiring cultural knowledge and educational process is to be developed to further highlig ht the cultural diversity that supports the idea of mutual respect for differences among people. Meanwhile, the introduction of the values of the dominant culture of the local community needs to be done as the basis for a process of interaction and adaptation processes in a common life in the community.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze specifically about effort to improve students' conceptual understanding through Teams Game Tournament (TGT) learning method. This analysis is based on a number of relevant articles of 30 articles, both partially and correlatively discussed. The results of the analysis of the whole article shows that cooperative learning method of TGT can improve students' concept understanding. This paper can provide implications for teacher, to make the TGT method as an alternative choice in improving students' concept.

Abstract

AbstractBandung has a number of environmental problems, such as waste production very much, the higher the frequency of flooding, water quality also Cikapundung down due to pollution factory waste and garbage. In connection with these conditions, do research on the subject of research all students at the secondary school level (SMA) in Bandung with a sample of 200 people. Research questions are: (1) how the influence of environmental knowledge on environmentally friendly behavior of learners in Bandung? (2) how the influence of environmental care attitude towards environmentally friendly behavior of learners in Bandung? (3) how the influence of environmental knowledge on environmentally friendly behavior, (4) how the influence of knowledge and a caring attitude towards the environment environmentally friendly behavior? The results showed: the effect of environmental knowledge on environmentally friendly behavior amounted to 0.1%, the effect of environmental care attitude towards environmentally friendly behavior at 0%, the effect of environmental knowledge on the attitudes of environmental care by 6.2%, and the influence of knowledge and a caring attitude towards the environment environmentally friendly behavior by 1%.AbstrakKota Bandung memiliki sejumlah masalah lingkungan, antara lain produksi sampah sangat banyak, frekuensi banjir semakin tinggi, juga kualitas air Cikapundung turun akibat pencemaran limbah pabrik dan sampah. Sehubungan dengan kondisi tersebut, dilakukan penelitian dengan subjek penelitian seluruh peserta didik pada tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Kota Bandung dengan sampel sebanyak 200 orang. Pertanyaan penelitiannya adalah: (1) bagaimanakah pengaruh pengetahuan lingkungan terhadap perilaku ramah lingkungan peserta didik di Kota Bandung? (2) bagaimanakah pengaruh sikap peduli lingkungan terhadap perilaku ramah lingkungan peserta didik di Kota Bandung? (3) bagaimanakah pengaruh pengetahuan lingkungan terhadap perilaku ramah lingkungan, (4) bagaimanakah pengaruh pengetahuan dan sikap peduli lingkungan terhadap perilaku ramah lingkungan? Hasil penelitian menunjukan: pengaruh pengetahuan lingkungan terhadap perilaku ramah lingkungan sebesar 0,1%, pengaruh sikap peduli lingkungan terhadap perilaku ramah lingkungan sebesar 0%, pengaruh pengetahuan lingkungan terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan sebesar 6,2%, dan pengaruh pengetahuan dan sikap peduli lingkungan terhadap perilaku ramah lingkungan sebesar 1%. Abstract

The future of the economies of various nations across the globe lies in the entrepreneurial trends and activities. Entrepreneurship in this regard is viewed from the activities of Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs). Entrepreneurial activities are also viewed as development driving tool for rural societies. However, necessary skills are needed for such desired goal to be achieved and the education provided by institutions of learning is one by which entrepreneurial expertise can be attained. Conversely, entrepreneurship education is not considered as a major subject receiving due attention in South African institutions of learning. Hence, this study explores the impact of entrepreneurship education on the performance of Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs). Review method was adopted for this study. Thus, relevant literatures were reviewed. The findings of the study amongst others show that relevant skills are needed for entrepreneurial activities to thrive in rural societies and aid the needed development. Also, entrepreneurship education tends to impact entrepreneurial activities. The study therefore recommends amongst others that entrepreneurship education should be promoted in rural based institutions of learning in South Africa taking into cognizance the needs and demands of the communities and its surroundings where the institutions are situated.

Abstract

Delimitation of the village under Regulation No. 27 In 2006 (Permendagri No.27 Tahun 2006) the process of delimitation of the village on a map kartometris on an agreed basis. Implementation of the determination and the assertion made above the village boundary map scale of 1: 5,000 s / d 1: 10.000. Availability best scale topographical map is a scale of 1: 10,000 s / d 1: 25,000 which covers most of the territory of the Republic of Indonesia. The publication of Regulation No. 76 of 2012 as a replacement for the previous Regulation, explains that setting boundaries is kartometris can be done within the framework of demarcation between the regions by using a data base topographical maps. Development of mapping technology allows updating border activities carried out by combining the techniques of Remote Sensing, Geographic Information Systems and Digital Elevation Model (DEM). Determination and demarcation village implemented to provide legal certainty to the village boundaries in the land. Kartometris delimitation of the village is the process of setting boundaries on a map on an agreed basis, the process of implementation in the field by providing a mark in the form of coordinates kartometris village. Registered image data refers to the provisions of the topographical map. Abstract

Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan merupakan mata pelajaran denganvisi utama sebagai pendidikan demokrasi yang bersifatmultidimensional. PKn merupakan pendidikan nilai demokrasi,pendidikan moral, pendidikan sosial, dan masalah pendidikanpolitik. Namun yang paling menonjol adalah sebagai pendidikannilai dan pendidikan moral.Industri 4.0 adalah transformasi komprehensif dari keseluruhanaspek produksi di industry melalui penggabungan teknologi digitaldan internet dengan industry konvensional. Hal tersebut sangatditentukan oleh kecepatan dari ketersediaan informasi, yaitusebuah lingkungan industri di mana seluruh entitasnya selaluterhubung dan mampu berbagi informasi satu dengan yang lain.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the results of the re-actualization Awig awig Desa in preserving the social and cultural Desa Landah Kecamatan Praya Timur, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah is done by optimizing the village officials and all elements of society in guarding Awig awig Desa both in the planning process, manufacture, fixing up to supervision. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research subject community leaders, village government and villagers Desa Landah. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The conclusion drawn by the domain analysis. The results showed that Awik-awik Desa Landah as follows: 1) Do not damage trees turi, 2) Non-destructive beans, 3) Do not take water from the stream before getting a turn, and 4) not infringe customs. Reactualization Awig awig Desa in preserving the social and cultural village Landah conducted by Religious Leaders, Community Leaders, Indigenous Leaders, Youth Leaders, Women Leaders, Head of Hamlet or keliang, Chairman of RT, and philter. Furthermore Awig awig Desa disseminated to the general public through village meetings, village meetings, neighborhood meetings, religious events and announcements through panflet.

Abstract

This article aims to provide an overview of the implementation of local wisdom in the indigenous community of Kampung Kuta as a source of social studies learning.The method used is ethnography and Classroom Action Research. The research showed that environmental wisdom as one of the growing cultural values in society are able to make Kuta remain sustainable natural environment. The values of local wisdom, particularly environmental wisdom, is very important to make learning more meaningful social studies. The significance of the values of local wisdom of Kuta indigenous peoples as a source of learning social studies is seen from the results of studies showing the presence of two important things. First, the interest and passion of learners have increased. Second, teachers and the book are no longer the only source of learning.

Abstract

This study looks at the role of online media on the influence of fashion on female students. Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta. This research was conducted with the aim to know the role of online media on the influence of student fashion IPS, State Islamic University Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive method of analysis, which is a way used to investigate and solve problems that occur in the present moment.Fashion Hijab is an important thing for IPS educational students, because with the hijab fashion makes the student becomes more stylish, beautiful and not outdated. Online media is very instrumental to fashion hijab for IPS education student, that is to add insight or information about fashion hijab, add the reference of hijab fashion and facilitate student of IPS Education in creation of hijab in everyday as well as with the online media, photographs uploaded in online media became the student reference used.
