Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan menggunakan metode problem solving.Metode yang digunakan peneliti adalah metode penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan kuantitatif, yaitu dengan memberi dua perlakuan berbeda terhadap dua kelompok siswa.Kelompok pertama diberikan sistem pembelajaran melalui metode problem solving sebagai kelas eksperimen, sedangkan kelompok kedua mendapat pembelajaran dengan metode konvensional sebagai kelas kontrol.Penelitian ini di lakukan di kelas X IPS 2 dan X IPS 4 di SMAN 2 Lembang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitin ini menujukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen dibanding siswa kelas kontrol dalam menanggapi materi yang disampaikan dengan menggunakan metode problem solving hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai posttest kelas eksperimen tertinggi yaitu 90 sedangkan nilai postest kelas kontrol tertinggi yaitu 80. Pengujian Hipotesis (Uji-t) postest dapat dilihat bahwa nilai probabilitas signifikan atau p-valuenya adalah 0,008 atau lebih kecil dari 0,05 atau 5% yang artinya metode problem solving berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didikdi SMAN 2 Lembang pada kelas X IPS2 pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Kata Kunci: Problem Solving dan Berpikir Kritis ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to study the improvement of students' thinking by using problem solving methods. The method used by researchers is a quasi-experimental research method with quantitative, by providing different assistance to two groups of students. The first group provides a learning system through problem solving methods as an experimental class, while the second group learns by conventional methods as a control class. This research was conducted in class X IPS 2 and X IPS 4 in SMAN 2 Lembang. Based on the results of this research shows what is meant by an increase in the ability to think critically the experimental class of students controlling the material presented using the problem solving method this can be seen from the post-test scores of the experimental class increased by 90 while the post-test scores reached 80. The posttest (t-test) hypothesis can be seen because the significant probability value or p-value is 0.008 or smaller than 0.05 or 5%, which means the problem solving method for the critical thinking skills of students in SMAN 2 Lembang in class X IPS 2 in economic subjects. Keywords: Problem Solving and Critical Thinking

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk melihat: 1) pengaruh self regulated learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran guided discovery learning; dan 2) tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa berdasarkan tingkat self regulated learning melalui metode guided discovery learning. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Seunagan sebanyak 35 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner untuk melihat tingkat self regulated learning masing-masing siswa, pemberian tes kepada siswa sebelum dan sesudah pemberian perlakuan dengan metode guided discovery learning. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh: 1) Dari hasil uji regresi sederhana diperoleh nilai F sebesar 16,548 dengan angka signifikansi 0,000 yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara signifikan self regulated learning berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui metode guided discovery learning karna angka sig. < 0,05; 2) Untuk tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa berdasarkan tingkat self regulated learning diperoleh hasil: (a) siswa dengan tingkat self regulated learning tinggi, memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan kategori tinggi (81,52); (b) siswa dengan tingkat self regulated learning sedang, memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan kategori tinggi (77,5); dan (c) siswa dengan tingkat self regulated learning rendah, memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan kategori sedang (70,00).Kata Kunci: Berpikir Kritis, Self Regulated Learning, dan Guided Discovery LearningABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to see: 1) independent learning that is regulated against students' critical thinking abilities through the application of discovery guided learning methods; and 2) the level of students' critical thinking skills based on the level of self regulated learning through the guided discovery learning method. The sample in this study were 35 social studies class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Seunagan. Data collection is done by collecting questionnaires to see the level of learning that is individually set by each student. The results of the study are obtained: 1) From the simple regression results obtained an F value of 16.548 with a significance value of 0.000 which can be concluded that significant independent learning is regulated towards improving students' thinking abilities through methods guided by learning findings because of the numbers sig. <0.05; 2) For the level of critical thinking ability of students based on the level of independent learning the results obtained are: (a) students with a regulated level of independent learning have high critical thinking skills (81.52); (b) students with moderate level of independent learning, having critical thinking skills with a high category (77.5); and (c) students with low levels of self-regulated learning, have the ability to think critically in the medium category (70.00).Keywords: Critical Thinking, Self Regulated Learning, and Guided Discovery Learning

Abstract

Entrepreneurship plays an important role in the creation and growth of business as well as the growth and prosperity of the region and the country. The importance of entrepreneurship in job creation and economic development is recognized worldwide. This  research  is  motivated  by  the  low  entrepreneurial  intention  of  Vocational  High  School students which is also have an impact on unemployment. This study aims to determine and analyse the mediating effect of perceived desirability and perceived feasibility on the effect of entrepreneurial knowledge on entrepreneurial intention. The method used in study is an explanatory survey research with data collection techniques through a questionnaire and observation. The population of this study were students of PGRI Bandung Vocational High School class XI and XII academic year 2019/2020 as many as 305 students and sample of this research is 176 students. The results show that: 1) entrepreneurial knowledge has a significant effect on entrepreneurial Intention 2) perceived desirability mediates the effect of entrepreneurial knowledge on entrepreneurial intention 3) perceived feasibility mediates the effect of entrepreneurial knowledge on entrepreneurial intention.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of discovery learning methods on students' critical thinking skills. The study population was all students of class X in SMA Negeri 2 Lembang and the research sample was class X IPS 1 as an experimental class and X IPS 3 as a control class with a total of 38 students each. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental. Data collection techniques used are description tests (pretest and posttest) with data processing techniques validity test, reliability test, difficulty level test, differentiation power test, normality test, homogeneity test, t-test, hypothesis test. Based on the results of this research shows that there is an increase in the critical thinking skills of the experimental class students compared to the control class students in responding to the material presented using the discovery learning method it can be seen from the highest experimental class posttest score of 95 while the highest control class posttest score is 78. Testing Post-test hypothesis (t-test) can be seen that the significant probability value or p-value is 0.019 or smaller than 0.05 or 5%, which means the discovery learning method influences the critical thinking ability of students in SMA N 2 Lembang in class X IPS in economic subjects.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh metode pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Lembang dan sampelnya penelitian yaitu kelas X IPS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X IPS 3 sebagai kelas control dengan masing-masing jumlah sebanyak 38 siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes uraian (Pretes dan postes) dengan teknik pengolahan data uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji tingkat kesukaran, uji daya pembeda, uji normalitas, uji homogenitan, uji-t, uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitin ini menujukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen dibanding siswa kelas kontrol dalam menanggapi materi yang disampaikan dengan menggunakan metode discovery learning hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai postest kelas eksperimen tertinggi yaitu 95 sedangkan nilai postest kelas kontrol tertinggi yaitu 78. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengalaman praktik kerja industri, informasi dunia kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII program keahlian otomatisasi tata kelola perkantoran SMK Negeri se-kota Serang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII program keahlian otomatisasi tata kelola perkantoran di SMK Negeri se-kota Serang sebanyak 434 siswa dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 208 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Explanatory Survey dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Pengolahan data menggunakan teknik analisis data regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan program IBM SPSS for Windows 25.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa gambaran umum tentang pengalaman praktik kerja industri, informasi dunia kerja, motivasi kerja dan kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII program keahlian otomatisasi tata kelola perkantoran SMK Negeri se-kota Serang termasuk kedalam kategori tinggi. Pengalaman praktik kerja industri, informasi dunia kerja dan motivasi kerja memiliki kontribusi pengaruh terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa sebesar 56,10%. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara pengalaman praktik kerja industri, informasi dunia kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa baik secara parsial maupun simultan

Abstract

The purpose of this study was determine the effect of self efficacy on work readiness of vocational students. This research is quantitative research. The population in this study were all students of the 11th grade of the all department at SMK Al Ghazaly as many as 90 students. The population is limited less than 100, all subjects in this study were used as research samples This research use descriptive and verificative methods. The sample of the Analytical techniques used are simple linear regression. Normality test uses the Kolmogorov-smirnov test and simple linear regression. All data calculation using IBM SPSS v. 25 for Windows. The result showed that self efficacy effect toward work readiness The magnitude of the influence of self efficacy against the results of work readiness by 0,275 (27,5%) while the remaining 0,725 (72,5%) is affected by other factors.

Abstract

The hospitality industry in Indonesia is growing rapidly but lagging behind the readiness of human resources. The hotel industry has a crucial problem of retaining employees where there is a gap between the interests of employees and the interests of the company. Turnover intention is the main predictor of turnover, so aspects that can affect turnover intention will affect turnover. This study aims to describe and analyze the relationships between variables and dimensions in the research model or paradigm developed by the researcher. It tested the conditional process model using path analysis based on OLS regression and bootstrap methods. The population in this study were employees of the hotel industry in Indonesia, with a sample of 257 employees. The findings of this study are that the work environment has no direct effect on the variables of job satisfaction, employee engagement, and turnover intention but can interact as a moderator variable so that it effectively moderates the impact of polychronic on turnover intention through full mediation of job satisfaction and employee engagement.

Abstract

Keberadaan pandemi Covid-19 telah mempengaruhi layanan dan akses arsip di perguruan tinggi.  Adanya pandemi menyebabkan layanan fisik arsip menjadi tidak relevan. Hal ini berkaitan dengan adanya pembatasan fisik dan sosial antar manusia guna mencegah terjadinya penularan virus. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses digitalisasi, layanan arsip statis serta kelebihan dan kekurangan layanan arsip digital di perguruan tinggi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Literature Review. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa digitalisasi arsip di perguruan tinggi secara umum mencakup beberapa jenis arsip diantaranya arsip tekstual, rekaman suara, kartografi, gambar statis dan bergerak. Digitalisasi arsip ini dilakukan dengan memindai arsip dalam format analog ke dalam bentuk digital. Kelebihan layanan arsip digital yakni mengurangi sentuhan fisik dan sosial antar manusia, tidak terikat ruang dan waktu, dan mempermudah dalam membuat laporan. Sedangkan kekurangan arsip digital ini ialah adanya potensi arsip digital yang disalahgunakan dan ketentuan watermark yang belum dibakukan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the work environment on turnover intention, by employing the mediating role of job satisfaction and work engagement. A poor work environment is more likely to increase turnover intention, and our study aims to mitigate this effect by using the effects of job satisfaction and work engagement. The study was conducted on hotel employees in Bandung City, West Java, Indonesia. The analytical technique used is the partial least squares method to test the significance of the relationship between research constructs. The results showed that supportive work environment has positive effects on job satisfaction and on employee work engagement. In relation with the effect of job satisfaction, the findings demonstrated its positive and significant influence on employee work engagement. Regarding the turnover intentions, the results found a negative and significant effect of work engagement on employee turnover intention. Mediation analysis reveals the important role of job satisfaction in mediating the relationship between work environment and turnover intention. The conclusion of these findings underscores the role of supportive work environment, increased employee engagement and satisfaction as important antecedents in minimizing turnover intention in the hotel industry. The practical implication for hotel managers is to ensure the active and participatory engagement of employees while remaining focused on creating a supportive and satisfying work environment. Abstract

Implementation of learning at the Community Learning Center (PKBM) during the Covid 19 pandemic faced challenges, this was due to the diversity of backgrounds of students in PKBM. The majority of students in PKBM are adults, due to the nature of PKBM which is flexible and oriented to community needs. The use of applications in learning during a pandemic is an option that must be used. However, adults who were born as digital immigrants need to adapt to this new technology. This research was carried out by applying a quantitative approach, using a survey method, namely research examining large and small populations (universe) by selecting and studying selected samples from that population, so as to find the relative incidence, distribution, and interrelation of variables and located in the city Bandung. Data collection through observation, interviews, documentation studies, and questionnaires. The population of this study amounted to 77 PKBM institutions, obtained a sample with the slovin formula totaling 43 PKBM institutions, with a total of 200 PKBM students representing each institution. The results of the study show that the most widely used learning media is WhatsApp, The use of the whatsapp application is more applicable and familiar how to use it.
