Abstract

Spiritual intelligence is the ability possessed by a person to knowing and understanding the truth of God's Word. The aim of this research is to find out what are the efforts of the leaders of the Bunga Lilies Orphanage in increasing the spirituality of foster children towards community social action as the implementation of love. In collecting data, this study used a qualitative descriptive method by conducting interviews, observations and literature studies. So the results of this study indicate that in an effort to increase the spiritual intelligence of children in family orphanages, there are several things that can be done, namely by conducting prayer activities, reading Bible movements, procuring evangelism to villages, and holding social actions to the community. The efforts that have been made have become the embodiment of the implementation of love as evidence of the increasing spiritual intelligence of the orphanage children.

Abstract

Abstract            The purpose of this research is to find out and get a clearer understanding of the Second Coming of Christ according to 1 Thesaonical 4:13-18. Methods This paper uses descriptive qualitative research methods with a literature study approach. The results of this study can be concluded that the event of death is not the end of everything for the lives of believers, but only a temporary separation that will be reunited on the second day of the Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, describes and explains that the second coming of Christ is the basis for the hope of believers that those who died in the Lord will be raised first in the event of the parousia. This is at the same time a news of consolation for those who are left behind by their loved ones.Key Works: The Second Coming of Christ; Parousia; Rapture. Abstrak            Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendapatkan pengertian yang lebih jelas tentang kedatangan Kristus Kedua kali sesuai dengan 1 Tesalonika 4:13-18. Metode Yang digunakan tulisan ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi literasi. Hasil dari kajian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Peristiwa kematian bukanlah akhir dari segala-galanya bagi kehidupan orang percaya, tetapi hanya pemisah sementara yang kelak akan dipertemukan kembali pada hari kedatang Tuhan Yesus Kristus kedua kali.  1 Tesalonika 4:13-18, menggambarkan dan menjelaskan bahwa kedatangan Kristus kedua kali merupakan dasar bagi pengharapan orang-orang percaya bahwa orang-orang yang mati dalam Tuhan akan dibangkitkan lebih dahulu pada peristiwa parousia. Hal ini sekaligus menjadi sebuah berita penghiburan bagi orang-orang yang ditinggalkan oleh orang-orang yang dikasihinya.Kata Kunci: Kedatangan Kristus Kedua Kali; Parousia; Pengangkatan.

Abstract

ABSTRACTSpiritual growth occurs through hearing the Word. GKII Isa Al-Masih members experience difficulties in studying the word independently, especially during the pandemic, the interaction between the pastor and the congregation is very limited. Therefore, GKII Isa Al-Masih created a congregational coaching program through the Let's Read the Bible movement. This study aims to find out the implementation process of the Whatsapp-based Come Read Bible Movement. The author uses qualitative research to understand the process of carrying out the let's read the Bible process. The results of the research show that when believers hear the word of God, believers will try to find what they have heard in the Bible. The Word of God that builds the lives of believers. Therefore, if believers diligently read the Bible, God's word reminds and strengthens believers to face life's difficulties and struggles. The researcher emphasizes the importance of reading the Bible as an effort to increase knowledge about God's work and allows believers' beliefs to mature/grow spiritually. Keyword: Pandemic, Social Media, BibleABSTRAKPertumbuhan rohani terjadi melalui pendengaran Firman. Anggota GKII Isa Al-masih mengalami kesulitan untuk belajar firman secara mandiri terlebih di masa pandemi interaksi antara gembala dan jemaat sangat terbatas. Oleh sebeb itu GKII Isa Al-masih membuat program pembinaan jemaat melalui gerakan ayo baca Alkitab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan proses pelaksanaan Gerakan Ayo Baca Alkitab berbasis Whatsapp. Penulis menggunakan penelitian kualitatif untuk memahami proses pelaksanaan proses ayo baca Alkitab. Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa ketika orang percaya mendengar firman Tuhan, orang percaya akan mencoba menemukan apa yang telah mereka dengar di dalam Alkitab. Firman Tuhan yang membangun kehidupan orang percaya. Oleh karena itu, jika orang percaya rajin membaca Alkitab, firman Tuhan mengingatkan dan menguatkan orang percaya untuk menghadapi kesulitan dan pergumulan hidup. Peneliti menekankan pentingnya membaca Alkitab sebagai upaya meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang pekerjaan Tuhan dan memungkinkan kepercayaan orang percaya untuk dewasa/tumbuh secara kerohanian. Kata kunci: Alkitab, Media Sosial, Pandemi

Abstract

ABSTACT: This research aims to determine how much influence the role of the pastor and pastoral care has on the commitment of the congregation. This research uses quantitative methods. Quantitative research methods are methods for testing certain theories by examining the relationships between variables. The research was conducted at the Indonesian Bethel Church of the Woodward Congregation, Palu. The results of data analysis state that the adjusted R square value has a value of 0.502 or 50.2% the variation of the independent variable (X) can be explained by the variation of each independent variable (Role of the Pastor and Pastoral Service), while the remaining 49.8% (100% - 50.2%) is explained by the influence of other variables not included in this study. The correlation coefficient (R) has a value of 0.712 which means that the variable under study has a strong relationship with the dependent variable of 0.712 or 71.2%. Keyword: Role of Pastor, Pastoral Service, Congregational Commitment. ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh peranan gembala dan pelayanan pastoral terhadap komitmen jemaat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Metode penelitian kuantitiaf merupakan metode-metode untuk menguji teori tertentu dengan cara meneliti hubungan antar variable. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Gereja Bethel Indonesia Jemaat Woodward, Palu. Hasil analisis data menyatakan bahwa, nilai adjusted R square memiliki nilai sebesar 0,502 atau 50.2% variasi dari variabel independen (X) dapat dijelaskan oleh variasi dari masing-masing variabel independennya (Peranan Gembala dan Pelayanan Pastoral), sedangkan sisanya 49.8% (100% - 50.2%) dijelaskan oleh pengaruh variabel-variabel lain yang tidak disertakan dalam penelitian ini. Koefisien korelasi (R) memiliki nilai sebesar 0,712 yang berarti bahwa variabel yang diteliti mempunyai hubungan yang kuat dengan variabel terikatnya sebesar 0,712 atau sebesar 71.2%. Kata Kunci: Peranan gembala, Pelayanan pastoral, Komitmen jemaat.

Abstract

AbstractGod equips every human being with different potentials, which are called divine potentials. Problems sometimes make a person weak both mentally and in faith. One of the factors causing this to happen is a lack of intimacy with God, and Satan takes advantage of the situation. Weaknesses and strengths that exist can cause a conflict so that it can make a person a positive or negative person in terms of words, actions and perspectives. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach to II Corinthians 12:10. The application of strength behind weakness according to II Corinthians 12:10 is: the right response, surrendering completely to God and acting with God's power. Keywords: Strengths, Weaknesses, CorinthiansAbstrakAllah melengkapi setiap manusia dengan potensi yang berbeda-beda, yang disebut dengan potensi Ilahi. Masalah kadang membuat seseorang menjadi lemah baik secara mental maupun iman. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan hal tersebut terjadi adalah kurang adanya kedekatan dengan Tuhan, dan Iblis menggunakan situasi tersebut. Kelemahan maupun kekuatan yang ada dapat menimbulkan suatu pertentangan sehingga dapat membuat seseorang menjadi pribadi yang positif atau negatif dalam hal perkataan, perbuatan maupun cara pandangnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi literatur terhadap II Korintus 12:10. Penerapan kekuatan di balik kelemahan menurut II Korintus 12:10 adalah: respon yang benar, berserah sepenuhnya kepada Tuhan dan bertindak dengan kuasa Allah. Kata kunci: Kekuatan, Kelemaham, Korintus
