Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effect of pricing strategy and sales promotion on consumer purchase intention in supermarkets in Yogyakarta using the SEM-PLS approach. SEM-PLS is chosen due to its ability to handle complex models with multiple latent variables, even with small sample sizes and non-normally distributed data.  Methodology/approach: The research was conducted in supermarkets in Yogyakarta using a quantitative approach. Data were collected through a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1-5 and analyzed using the SmartPLS software. The study involved testing the measurement model (validity and reliability) and the structural model (path coefficients, R², bootstrapping significance, effect size, and predictive relevance).  Results/findings: The findings indicate that both pricing strategy and sales promotion have a significant positive effect on consumer purchase intention. The model demonstrates good predictive relevance, suggesting that pricing and promotional strategies are crucial factors influencing consumer behavior in supermarkets. However, this study is limited to a specific supermarket setting in Yogyakarta, and the results may not be generalizable to other retail contexts or regions.  Limitations: This study is limited to a specific supermarket setting in Yogyakarta, and the results may not be generalizable to other retail contexts or regions. The relatively small sample size may also affect the robustness of the findings. Contribution: This research contributes to the field of marketing, particularly in retail and consumer behavior studies. The findings provide valuable insights for supermarket managers and marketing strategists in optimizing pricing and promotional strategies to enhance consumer purchase intention

This creates uncertainty among investors and requires effective strategies to improve the company's performance and value in the face of fierce competition. This study aims to determine the Effect of Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) and Non-Perfoming Loan (NPL) on Stock Price Growth in Conventional SOEs Banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2023 period. The population in this study is Conventional State-Owned Banking Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2015-2023 period. The sample in this study is 4 Conventional SOE banking companies with a research time of 9 years so that 36 samples obtained by Saturated Sampling Technique are produced. The results of this study are that the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) and Non-Perfoming Loan (NPL) have a simultaneous effect. Partially, the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) has no effect and NonPerforming Loans (NPL) have a negative effect on stock price growth

Abstract

This research observes fluctuations in working capital in pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the 2018-2023 period and this research also explores the relationship between sales and net profit, with a focus on how sales can affect pharmaceutical companies' net profit.  This research aims to determine the effect of Working Capital and Sales on Net Profit in Pharmaceutical Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2018-2023 period. This research uses associative causality research methods with quantitative data types. 9 (nine) companies were selected from a total of 14 pharmaceutical companies as samples using the purposive sampling method. Analysis uses multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 26.0. The results of the t test show that partially, Working Capital and Sales have a significant effect on Net Profit, with a sig value below 0.05 for each working capital ratio of 0.023 with a value of tcount > ttable (2.347 > 2.007) and sales of 0.004 with value tcount > ttable (3.059 > 2.007). The results of the f test also show that simultaneously, these two ratios have a significant effect on Net Profit, with a calculated F value of 77.494 > F table 3.18 and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, the conclusion of this research is that both partially and simultaneously, Working Capital and Sales on Net Profit have a significant effect on Net Profit in the Pharmaceutical Companies studied

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of auditor competence, professional skepticism, and professional ethics on audit quality among public accounting firms in Medan registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Using a quantitative approach that combines descriptive and verification methods, the research collects data from 108 respondents representing auditors with varied educational and professional backgrounds. Multiple regression analysis reveals that each of the independent variables—auditor competence, professional skepticism, and professional ethics—has a significant positive impact on audit quality. In addition, the simultaneous influence of these factors explains a substantial proportion of the variability in audit quality. The findings underscore the importance of enhancing technical competencies, maintaining a critical mindset, and adhering to high ethical standards for improving the reliability and accountability of financial reporting. The study concludes with recommendations for auditors and regulatory bodies to further strengthen audit practices and bolster public trust in financial disclosures.

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of the digital economy on the development of the capital market in Indonesia, focusing on infrastructure transformation, changes in investor behavior, funding innovation, and challenges and opportunities that arise in the digital era. The results show that digitalization has increased the accessibility, efficiency, and liquidity of the capital market through the adoption of technologies such as cloud computing, blockchain, and online investment platforms. The number of capital market investors jumped significantly, dominated by millennials who use mobile applications, while infrastructure innovations by KSEI cut transaction times and increased market capitalization. However, this transformation is also accompanied by challenges such as low financial literacy, cyber vulnerability, and regulations that lag behind technological developments. On the other hand, the digital economy opens up strategic opportunities, including the growth of the Islamic capital market, AI-based product innovation, and increased financial literacy and inclusion through digital education and micro-investment integration. This research recommends holistic strategies in the form of regulatory reform, strengthening digital security, synergies between stakeholders, and developing an inclusive and sustainable ecosystem. By optimizing the role of the digital economy, Indonesia's capital market has the potential to become a major pillar of national and regional economic growth
