Abstract

Tulisan ini menyoroti problematika yang melanda dunia hukum sekarang.  Mengapa hukum modern gagal menciptakan keadilan sejati (substantial justice)? Selain itu, tulisan ini juga mencoba menelusuri mengapa sistem hukum modern yang berlaku saat ini, termasuk di Indonesia, sangat mudah ditegakkan terhadap kaum yang lemah, akan tetapi tidak berdaya memberangus kelompok elit, utamanya mereka yang memiliki modal yang besar.  Bagaimana sesungguhnya kawah candradimuka alias setting medan sosial yang mewadahi lahirnya sistem hukum modern? Pada bagian akhir, penulis mengungkapkan ke arah mana trend studi hukum berkiblat sekarang sehubungan dengan telah gagalnya sistem hukum modern mengatasi problematika dunia saat ini dan bagaimana posisi (studi) hukum Islam dalam arus (studi hukum) tersebut. Keywords:  Law, modern legal system, capitalism, Islamic law.

Abstract

It is popularly known that Islamic sciences are written in Arabic books (yellow books). From those books, the Muslims learn a variety of Islamic sciences, including Nahw-Sharf (Arabic grammar and structure). Arabic is very important since traditional Islamic sciences such as Qur’an, hadith and earlier ulama’s thoughts are inherited in Arabic. One of the Qur’anic studies in the light of language is al-'Adad (count) wa al-Ma'dud (the things counted). Abstract

Zionism is a political movement established on Judism doctrines. The very prominent mission of this movement is to establish an independent   state of Israel. The Jews  claim themselves to be the choosen people. In addition, they claim that Israel is the holy land promised by God. Abstract

Nurcholis madjid adalah seorang cendekiawan Muslim Indonesia yang semasa hidupnya, telah banyak memberikan sumbangan pemikiran tentang Islam di Indonesia. Walaupun pemikiran-pemikirannya tentang Islam banyak mendapat kritikan dari para cendekiawan yang tidak seide dengannya, ia tetap saja berupaya melakukan pencerahan terhadap masyarakat Muslim Indonesia. Salah satu pemikirannya yang sangat menonjol adalah tentang bagaimana Islam harus diinterepretasikan ulang untuk menghadapai modernisasi. Dalam konteks inilah, tulisan ini bermaksud mengungkap pemikiran-pemikiran Nurcholis tentang modernisasi Islam.

Abstract

Da’wah (Islamic mission) is an effort and a transformation of Islamic teachings. Many aspects such as sociology, politics, economy, culture, science, etc influence the process of da’wah. Multi-interpretation to the Islamic teachings has also brought about different experiences in implementing the Islamic teachings. This can be seen from the emergence of sects and religious movements in society. Abstract

Islamic religion serves as a set of divine teachings revealed to humans to comprehend and to apply in their lives. However, it cannot be denied that in Islam, there had appeared a comprehension towards Islamic teachings focusing on inner religious experiences, sufism. In Islam, sufism had appeared in the early period of its history. Therefore, there had been some sufis throughout the history of sufism. Zunnun al-Mishr is one of sufis who is very populer amongst Muslim scholars. This article will elaborate Zunnun al-Mishr’s mystical teachings. Kata Kunci: Zunnun al-Mishri, sufi, tasawuf, ma’rifah

Abstract

Current finding indicates that in humans there exist some potencies,  that is  intellectual quotient (IQ), emotional quotient and spiritual quotient (SQ).  Intellectual quotient  serves as a quotient in logics and  mathematics as well as other sciences, centered on the left brain. Emotional quotient serves as a social quotient, in establishing relationship with others and in building an empathy,  centered on the right brain. Spiritual quotient (SQ) serves as a quotient lies on how to find the meaning of life. In the Qur’an we find some verses elucidating those human quotients  such as ,aql, qalb, ruh dan nafs. Whenever the three human potencies, ruh, aql, dan qalb work well, they will result in perfect humans, but whenever nafs dominates the three potencies, it will result in evil humans.   Kata Kunci : Kecerdasan intelektual, kecerdasan emosional,                        kecerdasan spiritual, aql , qalb , ruh , nafs

Abstract

Manusia merupakan makhluk sosial yang selalu harus hidup berdampingan dengan yang lainnya. Namun demikian, perselisihan antara  manusia bisa mengakibatkan pembunuhan yang  tidak dikehendaki. Dalam hal ini, sanksi kisas adalah cara yang dapat digunakan untuk melindungi  manusia dari  pertumpahan darah. Dalam konteks kafir zimmi, jumhur ulama berpendapat bahwa orang Islam yang membunuh kafir zimmi tidak boleh dikisas dengan alasan agamanya tidak sekufu. Abstract

Allah swt. telah memerintahkan penegakan keadilan dalam segala aktivitas kehidupan manusia dan menjadikannya undang-undang yang diberlakukan secara umum agar dunia diatur berdasarkan keadilan. Kehidupan menjadi mudah di alam ini seandaninya manusia berjalan di atas rel keadilan dan dunia akan lebih aman dan damai manakala mengikuti jalan keadilan, tidak ada orang yang menganiaya dan teraniaya. Alquran telah menegaskan komitmennya terhadap pergaulan kehidupan manusia di manapun ia berada, bahwa prinsip keadilan harus ditegakkan baik dalam penerapan hukum dan transaksi ekonomi jika manusia ingin hidup teratur, aman dan sentosa. Kata Kunci :  al-mizan, Alquran, al-‘adl, al-‘adalah

Abstract

This article tries to interprete some aspects of Natsir’s political thoughts, particularly that of relationship between religion and politics, with more emphasis on relationship between religion and democracy (freedom of thought), as well as relationship between religion and state. Muhammad Natsir’s political thought is  concerned not only with normative doctrines and theories or Islamic conceptualization in the field of politics but also with the response to poltical facts and problems of Indonesia. In his view, in Islamic democracy, the formulation of political, economic, legal policie, etc. must refer to the Islamic principles, that is the Qur’an and the prophet’s traditions (sunnah) or at least they are not in contradiction  to the Islamic perinciples. Kata Kunci: Mohammad Natsir, Islam dan Demokrasi
