Mild head injury or mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) is a common case in Indonesia and is often considered trivial, although approximately 30–50% of patients experience residual symptoms such as vertigo, which can impact quality of life and productivity. A common problem is that post-traumatic vertigo is not properly managed due to late diagnosis and lack of patient education. This article reports the case of a 63 year old house wife with complaints of dizziness that occurs every 2-3 days with a duration of approximately 2 minutes per episode and appears erratically while sitting or doing activities. The patient had a history of a fall with a head injury three months prior accompanied by a loss of consciousness for approximately 5 minutes. Neurological examination showed impaired balance with positive Romberg and tandem tests, while the Dix-Hallpike maneuver showed no typical results. Based on the clinical presentation, the patient was diagnosed as post-concussion syndrome with the possibility benign paroxysmal positional vertigo secondary trauma. The patient was given therapy in the form of canalith repositioning maneuvers, pharmacotherapy, and education. Evaluation results showed symptom improvement, but limitations in daily activities and anxiety about recurrence persisted. This case demonstrates that post-traumatic vertigo has significant clinical and psychosocial impacts, necessitating a multidisciplinary approach for early diagnosis, optimal management, and patient education to maintain productivity

Javanese ethnic cultural works are generated from its philosophical thought, yet there is no local method used as a basis for approaching its aesthetic objects. Petungan, a practice of ethnomathematics, has been employed by premodern Javanese society to calculate all aspects of life. This qualitative study aims to investigate Javanese ethnomathematics, interpreting the value and meaning of numbers in the creation of symbols and visual forms. This research employing an ethnographic approach with analytical methods to find aesthetic principles from the logical structure of Javanese philosophy in building visual form. The results show that numbers are directly involved in constructing visual symbols and aesthetics in architectural motifs or batik patterns. Numbers are connected with belief values, character, cosmic elements, and metaphysics. Numbers are part of human life related to the cosmic system. The number five (sacred five) is used as a basis for calculations in petungan, serving as a measured guideline for determining life safety and prosperity. The number five, derived from the philosophy of keblat papat lima pancer, is a symbol that represents and unifies all cosmic elements: humans, nature, and their creator. The numbers two, three, four, and five manifest in visual symbols forming basic geometric shapes. These geometric patterns are arranged aesthetically through concepts of geometric transformations, reflection, translation, dilation, and rotation. Conclusion: The Javanese numerical system has a solid structure in creating decorative visual forms. When combined with petungan, there is potential to develop methods for calculating and building compositions that meet Javanese aesthetic ideal ratios

This study analyzes the problems of social inclusion-based e-library service innovation in Taliabu Island Regency through The Ninth Interactive approach . Using a qualitative case study method, this study dissects the manifestation of digital literacy in the 3T island region. The results of the study indicate that digital library transformation is hampered by three main factors: (1) Social barriers, in the form of low participation and resistance to community digital culture; (2) Financial barriers, related to limited regional budgets and high operational costs in island regions; and (3) Technical barriers, namely network infrastructure instability and minimal IT competency of librarians. These problems cause e-library services to not reach the stage of transformative social inclusion. A cross-sectoral collaborative strategy is needed to strengthen the digital ecosystem in order to improve the welfare of local communities

Corn productivity is heavily influenced by fertilization practices. Nanotechnology-enabled fertilizers offer controlled-release systems that enhance nutrient delivery efficiency while minimizing environmental losses, thereby reducing chemical fertilizer dependency. The research was conducted to evaluate of varying concentrations of Pornas nanotechnology liquid organic fertilizer on corn growth and yield. The experiment was conducted from January to November 2023 in Bangun Rejo Village, Tenggarong Seberang District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan, Indonesia, using a Randomized Complete Block Design with five replications. Treatments consisted of five Pornas concentrations (0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 mL L⁻¹. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and DMRT at a 5% significance level. Results showed that Pornas application significantly improved plant height, stem diameter, cob dimensions, kernel traits, and overall yield, but did not affect leaf number. The optimal concentration was 1.5 mL L⁻¹, which maximized yield at 5.07 Mg ha⁻¹ without significantly different from the 2.0 mL L⁻¹, indicating superior nutrient use efficiency. These findings demonstrate the potential of nano-liquid organic fertilizers for sustainable maize production in marginal tropical soils.

Problem-solving ability is recognized as one of the essential competencies required in the 21st century, demanding systematic cultivation within higher education. However, conventional teaching approaches still prevalent in many university settings often fall short in fostering this critical skill effectively. This study investigates the impact of a collaborative learning model on students’ problem-solving capabilities. Employing a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group format, the study involved two student groups: an experimental group exposed to collaborative learning strategies and a control group receiving traditional instruction. Data were analyzed using independent t-tests, multiple linear regression, and classical assumption testing. The findings reveal a statistically significant difference in posttest mean scores between the two groups (p < 0.001), with the experimental group demonstrating a notably greater improvement. The intervention variable (learning model) showed a strong influence on learning outcomes, while students’ initial abilities (pretest scores) were not a significant predictor of posttest performance. These results suggest that collaborative learning effectively enhances students’ problem-solving skills, primarily through social interaction and collective reflection. The study’s findings align with Vygotsky’s sociocultural theory and are supported by contemporary research on active learning and adaptive expertise. Based on these insights, the study advocates for the broader implementation of collaborative learning models as a pedagogical strategy in higher education to address the evolving demands of 21st-century education.

This study aims to examine the effect of service quality on user loyalty in Livin’ by Mandiri mobile banking services through trust and satisfaction as intervening variables. The study was motivated by the increasing competition in digital banking services and the inconsistency of previous research findings related to the relationship between service quality, trust, satisfaction, and customer loyalty. This research applied a quantitative approach using explanatory research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 200 respondents who actively use Livin’ by Mandiri mobile banking services at PT Bank Mandiri KCP Jakarta Pejaten. The collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4 software. The findings indicate that service quality has a positive and significant effect on satisfaction and loyalty, but does not significantly affect trust. Furthermore, trust and satisfaction positively influence customer loyalty. The mediation analysis also demonstrates that satisfaction significantly mediates the relationship between service quality and loyalty, while trust does not significantly mediate the relationship. The study concludes that customer satisfaction is the most influential factor in strengthening loyalty among mobile banking users. Therefore, improving service quality, especially in terms of system reliability, responsiveness, security, and application stability, is important to increase customer satisfaction and maintain long-term loyalty

The prohibition of pork consumption in Islamic dietary law has long been understood within theological and ethical frameworks. However, recent developments in biomedical sciences, genomics, and epidemiology provide additional insights into the potential health implications associated with pork consumption. This study aims to synthesize current scientific evidence on the genetic, zoonotic, metabolic, and neurological impacts associated with pork consumption using a systematic literature review and meta-analysis approach. A systematic search was conducted across PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar databases covering studies published between 2000 and 2024. The review followed the PRISMA 2020 guidelines for systematic reviews. Studies examining zoonotic pathogens, genetic compatibility between pigs and humans, metabolic consequences of pork consumption, and neurological implications were included. A total of 1,248 articles were identified, of which 36 studies met the inclusion criteria and were included in the meta-analysis. Random-effects models were applied to estimate pooled effect sizes. The pooled risk ratio (RR) for zoonotic infection associated with pork exposure was 1.42 (95% CI: 1.18–1.71), while the pooled RR for metabolic disease risk was 1.28 (95% CI: 1.10–1.50). Moderate heterogeneity was observed (I² = 51%). The findings suggest that pork consumption may be associated with increased risks related to zoonotic infection, inflammatory metabolic processes, and neurological complications in certain contexts. These findings provide a biomedical perspective that complements existing dietary regulations and highlights the importance of food safety and preventive health strategies

In Indonesia, kites are flown for sports and recreation. One popular event is the kite festival in Bali. The festival is held annually. The first type of kite flown by the Balinese people was made from leaves. Strings were then attached to them, which is why the Balinese call them leaf kites. There are three types of traditional Balinese kites: the Tekuk or Pecukan kite, the Janggan kite, and the Bebean kite. This study was conducted to examine the elements of Balinese culture present in the design of the Bebean kite. Additionally, it describes the visual aspects of color, materials, and the components used in the kite. To address the research questions, an approach was taken that began with the product itself, focusing on color, materials, components, and function. The method used was descriptive qualitative. The descriptive research procedure was carried out by processing data in the form of words and explaining the results of the analysis in the form of sentences. The results of the descriptive method were used to explain the Balinese cultural elements in the Bebean kite. The study was conducted based on the basic principles of the study. The analysis was conducted on the dimensions present in the design product
