Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that most students find it difficult to learn science so they don't like it. From the results of preliminary observations, obtained several things that are not in accordance with the fulfillment of quality learning for grade 6 students at SD Negeri 1 Cikeris Purwakarta Regency, namely: (1) The learning activities carried out have not provided a learning experience for students who require excessive challenges to optimize the development of thinking skills, creativity, problem solving skills, experimentation, innovation, discovery, development of interests, talents and skills. (2) In the delivery of learning, the teacher does not attract the attention of students. Among them are not using learning methods that are less precise and less varied, as well as the lack of utilization of media and learning resources from the environment, resulting in low student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Writing is one of four language skills. Of the four language skills, writing ranks last. That is, the ability to write can be achieved if the other three skills (listening, speaking, and reading) have been acquired first. The fact proves that not all junior high school students are able to write well, especially writing poetry. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research to identify and overcome these problems. The purpose of this study was to describe the ability to write poetry through natural media of class XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Ambon. The method used is descriptive quantitative method using statistical formulas and calculations. The main data of this study were collected by test technique. The test was conducted on 30 students. The results showed that the ability of eleventh grade students at SMA Negeri 3 Ambon in write poetry using natural media was good.

Abstract

Research interest in the field of bifurcation and its role in flow distribution and recovery has grown greatly in the past two decades. In this study, data obtained from an experimental investigate of the flow of water, diesel oil, crude oil and peanut oil representing the following categories of fluid samples, polar solvent, as they are allowed to flow through a geometrical glass cylindrical tube with the following angles 10o, 20o, 30o, 40o, 50o, and 30o. and the designated volumes of 100ml, 200ml, 300ml, 400ml and 500ml of the fluid samples were recovered, results obtained how water representing polar solvent as a consequences of its properties can easily attain maximum average velocity, results also show how we can predict the average velocity of a fluid sample with known Specific Gravity (S.G), finally our result further shows how the flow symmetry in the branched channels changed from the conventional flow symmetry in a straight pipe.
