Abstract

This research investigates the impact of non-physical working environments on the performance of Non-Civil Servant government employees at the Aviation Education. Utilizing both t-test and F-test analyses, the study reveals significant findings. The t-test results indicate a calculated t-value of 8.020 with Sig < α (0.029 < 0.05), demonstrating the significance of coefficient β2. At a 95% confidence level, df (n – k = 50 – 2) = 48, where the t-table value is 1.677, suggesting a partially significant effect of the Non-Physical Work Environment variable on employee performance. Moreover, the F-test results show Sig < α (0.000 < 0.05), confirming the significance of coefficient β. With an F-count of 64.313 and utilizing a 95% confidence level, df1 = 1 and df2 = 48, the F-table value is 4.04, indicating a simultaneous significant effect of the Non-Physical Work Environment variable on employee performance. These findings underscore the crucial role of non-physical working environments in enhancing the performance of Non-Civil Servant Government Employees (PPNPN) at the Aviation Education..

Abstract

Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are the most common infection in outpatient settings. Although antibiotics are the primary UTIs treatment, the antibiotic resistance threatens its effectiveness, posing a significant risk to public health. This study aims to explore the common bacterial uropathogens in UTIs patients and to plot the antibiotic susceptibility patterns through a cross-sectional retrospective study. Patients provided aseptic urine samples after consenting, which included clean-catch midstream urine and specimens obtained via straight or indwelling catheters, all stored in sterile containers. Escherichia coli was the most prevalent UTI-causing bacteria (29.2%), followed by Klebsiella pneumoniae (20.8%) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (10%). Among all pathogens, 34.6% were Extended Spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL), including some of Escherichia coli and Klebsiella Pneumoniae. Escherichia coli was the most prevalent UTI-causing bacteria (29.2%), followed by Klebsiella pneumoniae (20.8%) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (10%).

Abstract

This research provides empirical evidence for developing the concept of measuring financial performance with EVA proxies in the MSME sector. This study uses a quantitative research design based on the positivism paradigm. The sample size used in this study was the Slovin formula. The calculation results show that the number of samples was 211.76 or rounded to 212 samples. The results of this study also found financial decisions have a positive and significant effect on financial performance. MSMEs can use the financial component of the EVA, which is available directly from their accounting information, coupled with the activities of the organization affecting it, to identify areas where it can create value.

Abstract

The warrior character is an important element in the storyline and a narrative developer in silat films. The warrior is the main character with distinctive characteristics in Silat's stories, especially the visual character. Talent is supported by make-up with a body shape that tends to be static to differentiate the role. This research explores the relationship between character make-up, body shape, and character, including stereotypes of warrior characters in silat films. This research used content analysis with a physiognomy theory approach to read the characters in the characters' make-up. In addition, somatotype theory is used to analyze characters based on body shape. A case study was conducted on the Indonesian Silat film Wiro Sableng (2018), focusing on the main hero, heroine, and villain characters and representing three body types.

Abstract

This research examines Indonesian poetry which reflects the socio-political dynamics of Papua during the New Order era, using the lens of literary sociology and Antonio Gramsci's theory of hegemony. This research found that poetry is an effective medium for articulating resistance, challenging dominant narratives, and voicing the socio-political injustices faced by the Papuan people. The results of this research provide an important contribution to the understanding of the role of literature in a socio-political context, demonstrating its potential as a tool for socio-political change and inspiring a new understanding of the dynamics of resistance and hegemony.
