Abstract

The need for quality employees is a necessity, this is believed to be able to help the company in achieving its goals. In fact, the highest quality employees can drive rapid progress and help companies stand out from competition and global business threats. Based on this, the company is aware of an effort to develop employees in the right way, namely through mentoring or mentoring programs. This study aims to identify, analyze, and suggest how to develop employees well through a mentoring program. To answer this goal, a qualitative scientific method was used. Data and information were obtained through observation and interviews with employees of Hutama Karya companies who participated in the mentoring program. While the analytical method using descriptive technique. The results of the study show that mentoring programs can help employees accelerate their abilities and increase better opportunities. The interesting thing about this program is that the company has an effective leadership regeneration system, so that it can help maintain the company's existence in the future

Abstract

Teacher is a profession that demands competence, professionalism, and role model. This task is very heavy, so there needs to be special and more attention from the education unit organizers, even the government. On the shoulders of the teacher is the fate of the nation in the future, by providing quality education to the nation's children. This study aims to review teacher performance through its main determinants, namely professional and personality. In order to answer the research objectives, this research uses a quantitative scientific approach with regression analysis techniques. The object of research is a religious school in the Kuningan area, West Java. The research sample is teachers, as many as 125 people. The research data was obtained through questionnaires, either through google forms or questionnaire sheets. The results of the study reveal that teacher performance is very important for student success. Therefore, professional and personality factors are very decisive, how teachers educate and guide students to be able to excel and have character. Interestingly, the contribution of teacher performance also has an impact on the quality of educational institutions.

Abstract

For private higher education institutions, education is an educational service. Therefore, there needs to be a measurable effort in finding students. One common way of doing this is by implementing a marketing mix. Starting from publications, promotions, and the application of affordable educational costs, as well as various educational facilities. Based on this, this study was conducted to reveal the effectiveness of implementing marketing strategies in private higher education in Banten Province. The strategic step in answering the objectives of this research is to use a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis. The unit of analysis was students, and research data was obtained through a simple random distribution of questionnaires. The results showed that the background/characteristics of the students greatly influenced the marketing strategy model used. Thus, universities need to conduct research on student profiles comprehensively, from demographics to the presence of other universities. The price penetration strategy is the most dominant factor for the urban market, in the lower-middle class category. Thus, the main key in the effectiveness of implementing a private higher education marketing strategy is the affordability of education costs.

Abstract

The magnitude of the teacher's responsibility is the basis for the importance of maintaining performance. Its role has a great contribution to all stakeholders, both the school and the students themselves. Therefore, several factors need to be considered, so that teacher performance is maintained, including improving problem-solving abilities and spiritual intelligence. This research was conducted to see how it is possible to maintain performance through strengthening the adversity quotient and spiritual quotient abilities. In order for this research to answer the problems and research objectives, a scientific method is established, namely a quantitative approach. The sources of data in this study were the teachers of Al-Madinah Islamic School, as many as 120 people, and the data were obtained through the distribution of questionnaires. The analysis method uses statistical regression techniques with the help of SPSS applications. The results of the study explain that the adversity quotient and spiritual quotient are proven to be able to maintain and improve teacher performance, with a contribution value of 0.404. This finding confirms the fact that the teaching profession requires complete abilities, ranging from personality, intellectual, emotional, to spiritual to be a factor in maintaining performance, so that quality education can be realized.

Abstract

For a Muslim entrepreneur, building a business is not just about getting profit, but how the business is run to meet the interests of customers. So there is more attention about how to treat customers. This study aims to examine how the interests of customers are met so that loyalty is born in purchasing by paying attention to the factors that influence it, namely the Islamic entrepreneurial spirit, business capital, and location. To answer the purpose of this study, the researchers used a quantitative approach with statistical regression analysis. The place of research was carried out in MSME Production of Typical Souvenir Cakes in Tulungagung. The research data was collected primarily with a questionnaire distribution technique. The results of the study concluded that customer purchase loyalty is strongly influenced by several factors, including the Islamic attitude of business actors. Honest behavior, responsibility, and maintaining the good values ​​of religion in trading can be added values ​​and affect customer ratings. Likewise, capital adequacy and business location can strengthen the business, and give a positive impression to customers.

Abstract

The importance of understanding the main factors in building the quality of education. Admittedly or not, quality education is born from many roles and contributions, including school management, teachers, and other parties. Quality education is built on good discipline, initiated by reformist leadership, and supported by education practitioners who have a passion for progress and development. This study was conducted to examine the determinants of quality education, namely the provisions of discipline, the leadership role of school principals and teacher motivation. The proof of the research is done through quantitative techniques and statistical regression analysis. The object of research is the Al-Amanah Al-Gontory educational institution, South Tangerang. While the research unit is the teacher, totaling 115 people. The data was collected through questionnaires, then the research data was processed and analyzed using the SPSS application, including validity, reliability, regression testing, and determination tests. The results of the study explain that quality education is built by many factors, including disciplinary rules that form a regular and measurable personality. Maximum leadership role, thus encouraging all teachers to be able to work with full responsibility and quality. Then work motivation, namely feelings or self-motivation to be able to make a real contribution to school progress. This explanation, confirmed by the results of the regression test, either partially or simultaneously, that discipline, leadership, and motivation are very influential and contribute to improving the quality of education.

Abstract

There are many demands in the teaching profession, they must be smart, patient, compassionate, polite in appearance, friendly in speech, and highly dedicated. The hardest part about being a teacher is being an agent of change. The myriad of responsibilities are not only the responsibility of yourself, but also the organizers of the education unit. Schools need to create a support system for strengthening teacher performance, for example by cultivating spiritual values as the basis for carrying out their duties. This research was conducted to reveal the impact of strengthening spiritual values in improving teacher performance. This study uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis. The object of the research was conducted in a public school in the city of South Tangerang. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews and direct observation. Research correspondents are public school teachers who are civil servants. The results showed that the practice of religious values in work/teaching can affect the mental state and perceptions of teachers. There is a tendency to be wise in dealing with various problems, including the strengthening of self-commitment, to be able to carry out tasks as well as possible.

Abstract

In the context of the organization, the leader has an important role in moving all members to achieve goals. Likewise in educational institutions, principals are the main actors of success, so there needs to be a standard of leadership management. Principal leadership management standards can help strengthen the management function, so that all parties involved can maximize their roles and functions. In fact, this research was conducted to examine the principal's leadership management function through a qualitative approach. In the process of disclosing information, descriptive analysis technique is used, in which the basic explanation is based on data and information obtained from correspondents. The research informants were the principals of public schools in Bogor district, precisely in Parung sub-district. Research data obtained through interviews and observation. The results of the study indicate that in general all school principals have carried out their functions in accordance with applicable regulations, although their implementation has not been optimal or varied. In practice, leadership management is highly dependent on the personality and background of each principal. There are some principals who are dominant in the planning aspect, but the organization, task execution, and control are ordinary. So did the other principals.

Abstract

Married Muslim women have different characteristics, especially with non-Muslim women. Muslim women who are married, no longer have freedom over themselves according to the Shari'a, especially in matters of earning a living. Because Islam has regulated, that all responsibility for the affairs of the world and the hereafter in the household is on the shoulders of the husband. However, as the situation develops, not all households have complete power in their husbands, so it is not uncommon for some Muslim wives to take the initiative to help ease the burden on their husbands. This situation has also been addressed in Islam, where Muslim wives are allowed to work outside the home with several things, including getting their husband's permission, not mixing with men who are not married, and so on. This research was conducted to obtain actual information about the permission of Muslim women (married) to work outside the home. To answer the research objectives, a qualitative method is used, which is a scientific method that reveals a phenomenon naturally. The research was conducted in the Kranggan area, Central Java, and the research informants were married career women. Research data were collected by means of direct interviews and discussions. The results showed that career Muslim women in the Kranggan area had obtained permission from their husbands to be able to work. As for the reason for working, in general it is to help ease the burden on the husband. There is even a perception that the household is the obligation of husband and wife, so that the wife has the same obligation to help her husband. However, Muslim wives still pay attention to the rules of Religion, about what is allowed and not allowed at work.

Abstract

The local wisdom empowerment program is one way to increase the economic resilience of a community, not least in Tegal, Central Java. As a coastal area, this area has abundant potential for marine products, and can be used as the main livelihood in improving community welfare. However, there are many obstacles faced by the community, including knowledge, technology, experience, capital, and marine product management facilities. Therefore, this study was conducted to reveal the use of marine products as a solution to food security and the economy of the people of Tegal. To answer the purpose of this research, qualitative methods are used as a natural way to obtain actual information related to the phenomena being observed. The subjects of this research are the coastal communities of Tegal Regency who work as fishermen, totaling 150 people. Research data obtained through surveys, interviews, and discussions. In the results of the study obtained information, the majority of coastal marine communities in Tegal work as fishermen, so that their main livelihood is fishing. However, the community is aware of the lack of knowledge, capital, equipment and so on. So that it has not been able to maximize marine products, as an added value to the community's economic resilience.
