Abstract

The rise of the concept of a waste bank in Indonesian society has its own charm, for example about savings and income from waste. The reason is, so far waste has no value, and even tends to be a problem for the environment. The presence of the waste bank concept is a breath of fresh air that can minimize the risk of waste problems, as well as provide economic benefits. This study was conducted to analyze waste bank activities that generate economic benefits, through the concept of waste bank savings. This research was conducted at the waste bank group in Pondok Pinang sub-district, Jakarta. The research correspondents were members of the waste bank, as many as 54 people. The research method uses quantitative techniques with regression analysis. Research data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires. The results of the study confirm that the waste bank activity is considered positive, because it is an alternative to solving the waste problem and also provides material benefits, although it is acknowledged by the community that it is not significant. However, the proceeds from savings from waste bank activities are quite beneficial for funding community activities. Statistically, the number of waste bank activities can increase savings, and have implications for increasing waste bank income.

Abstract

Regional governments are obliged to provide welfare for their people, either through the original regional budget, the central transfer budget, or the CSR budget of companies in their area. In Kolaka Regency, there are many mining companies. It is the company's obligation to contribute to the community through CSR funds, and the party most authorized to deal with these problems is the local government, whose funds can then be channeled to the community through community programs. This research was conducted to review how the local government of Kolaka district can collect CSR funds from companies and distribute them to the community through regional development programs, such as health, education, social, religious programs, environmental assistance and so on. This research is qualitative, case study research, and survey method. The data analysis technique used was descriptive based on SWOT analysis. The object of research is the local government of Kolaka, with correspondents consisting of local government employees, community leaders, and communities around the mine. The results of the study indicate that the local government of Kolaka is in a weak position towards the utilization of CSR opportunities. Although local governments have the power in the form of regulations to be able to demand CSR funds from companies, the fact is that the relevant agencies have not been able to collect as much CSR funds as possible to be channeled to the community in development and community welfare programs.

Thus, there is a linear relationship between lecturer performance and university performance, so it is necessary to conduct research so that it can be taken into consideration for universities to be able to pay attention to aspects that affect lecturer performance. To be able to reveal this phenomenon, this study establishes a qualitative approach, which is an attempt to present valid information as the basis for disclosure. In its interpretation, descriptive analysis technique is used. In collecting data using secondary data, namely analyzing the results of SPMI activities carried out by the Quality Assurance Institute of Pamulang University and interviews. The results showed that the performance of the lecturers' tri dharma was in the good category with a percentage of 90%. This confirms that the good performance of lecturers can contribute to the good performance of the university. However, several things that are still a note for improvement in the institution are the lack of academic positions of head lector and professor, there are still many lecturers who have not received professional certification, and the lack of awards.

Abstract

Work standard is a management instrument in ensuring the running of an activity effectively. However, as humans, employees have feelings, so attitudes and work behavior are strongly influenced by emotional factors (satisfied/happy). One source of employee satisfaction is leadership. The good attitude and behavior of leaders towards employees, has a positive impact on the psychological state of employees. So not infrequently, a good leadership model can turn on a pleasant productive work environment. In order to answer this phenomenon, a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis is used. The research subjects were lecturers of private universities in Banten province, totaling 200 people. Data collection was done at simple random with a questionnaire as a research instrument. The results of the study obtained information, that the lecturers were not happy if the head of the study program did not / did not act fairly in terms of the distribution of academic activities. This condition can cause a decrease in discipline and work commitment, so that it has an impact on the performance of the lecturers' tri dharma. Another thing that makes lecturers dissatisfied is about the attitude of the leadership, there is a tendency to be more in favor of the interests of the university by ignoring the interests of employees. This causes feelings of disappointment.
