Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the validity of a rotational blended learning model incorporating the M-Learning application, specifically designed for Student Sports Education and Training Center athletes. The M-Learning platform enables flexible, anytime-anywhere learning tailored to meet the unique needs of athlete students, addressing challenges related to their demanding training schedules and academic engagement. This research adopts a Research and Development (RD) methodology, utilizing the ADDIE model, which includes the phases of Analysis, Design, Development, and Implementation. Data were collected through expert validation sheets and response questionnaires. Quantitative analysis was conducted using a four-point Likert scale to determine the feasibility percentage of the model. The results revealed high feasibility ratings from experts: 97.36% for the model, 87.89% for the media, and 94.14% for the material, indicating excellent validity. These findings suggest that the rotational blended learning model with M-Learning is a highly effective and appropriate learning medium for athletes.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate patterns in the application of computational thinking (CT) in scientific education.  This study used a systematic review. Eleven papers from the ERIC database that were published between 2021 and 2025 were analyzed using the qualitative descriptive method.  According to the review's findings, CT has been extensively employed across a range of educational levels, most notably in scientific and physics courses, as well as at the elementary school and high school levels. STEM is the most often utilized technique.  CT has been used extensively in education and has been shown to improve student learning results, scientific idea comprehension, and critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify suitable learning media for teaching English using procedural text concepts. The research employed an R D using ADDIE development model. From the review, the researcher designed an e-book learning media incorporating local wisdom, specifically focusing on Tangerang’s culinary heritage. This media was developed using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to enhance the effectiveness of the learning process. The ADDIE model was applied as a systematic and procedural framework to guide the development of the learning media. The findings suggest that integrating local cultural elements into digital learning tools can improve student engagement and comprehension. The study concludes that e-books based on local wisdom, designed through a structured development model, offer a promising solution for modern English learning. Overall, this research highlights the potential of culturally relevant, technology-based media to support more meaningful and accessible education.

Abstract

This study analyzed the requirements for a digital system to evaluate microskill achievement within the MBKM program at universities. A descriptive research method was employed, utilizing a Likert-scale-based questionnaire completed by 132 respondents, consisting of 66 students and 66 lecturers from six universities. The sample size was determined through Power Analysis with an effect size parameter (f) of 0,4. The findings reveal that the conventional evaluation system faces challenges, including unclear assessment standards, difficulties in converting microskills to credit point, and time-consuming processes. Both students and lecturers express the need for a digital system that is more transparent, efficient, and capable of enabling real-time monitoring and feedback. These findings form the basis for designing a more effective microskill evaluation system.

Abstract

The use of smartphones has reached all levels of society in Indonesia. It is necessary for parents to supervise smartphone use at home and for teachers to supervise smartphone use at school for the sake of students' development both at home and at school. Incorrect use of smartphones can have a negative impact on student behavior. This study aims to investigate the impact of smartphone use among students a Vocational Senior High School in Tangerang City, Indonesia. The research questions are: What are the reasons for smartphone use, and how does smartphone use affect student behavior at school? This study employs a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that students use smartphones for entertainment at school, such as playing offline or online games, watching videos obtained from friends, taking photos with friends, completing group assignments assigned by teachers, searching for answers while doing assignments, and searching for answers during exams or quizzes. The apps that students use a lot at school are Free Fire, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Google, WhatsApp, AI, and ChatGPT. Students' social behavior changes when they're busy with their smartphones. When students are given smartphones during class, they don't listen to the teacher and are busy with their phones. When it's break time, students follow the moves in the videos on their smartphones, which affects their behavior at school.
