Abstract

The use of learning media is now essential for the success of learning. Developments in learning media continue to be carried out today to produce interactive media that requires students to interact with teachers, friends, and learning media. This is common in mathematics learning. This research aims to find data regarding the learning media that are most frequently used in the world, the countries that use interactive learning media the most in mathematics learning, and the mathematics materials that are most widely used in using interactive learning media. The method used is a systematic review using the PRISMA method. From the initial results, there were 381,837 articles, which were then filtered according to predetermined criteria, and the final results were 8 articles for further research. The results of this research found that Interactive Media is widely used in mathematics lessons throughout the world such as Digital Books, Geogebra, Geometer's Sketchpad, ChatGPT, and Instructional Video. Of the various interactive media, digital books are the ones most used in learning because digital books can stimulate the skills needed for learning in the 21st century. The results of this research also found that Ethiopia and Germany are the most users of interactive media. Abstract

This research aims to determine how the work environment and transformational leadership style in government agencies influence performance through job satisfaction. This research used quantitative methods; out of 114 civil servants, 89 people filled out the survey based on Slovin's calculations against Umar. The survey was then conducted via Google Forms using proportional stratified random sampling to select the sample. The data were analyzed using the structural equation modeling (SEM) approach with the partial least squares (PLS) method. According to research, the work environment and transformational leadership improve employee performance, with or without the mediating influence of job satisfaction. It can be seen from the test results that the work environment influences the level of job satisfaction (p < 0.05, t > 3.005), transformational leadership influences job satisfaction (p < 0.001, t > 3.224), the work environment influences employee performance (p < 0.017, t > 2.386), and transformational leadership influences employee performance (p < 0.000, t > 18.026). A supportive work environment, transformational leadership, and employee performance are positively related to job satisfaction, mediating these three aspects, as seen from job satisfaction mediating the relationship between the work environment and employee performance (p < 0.000, t > 4.603). Also, job satisfaction mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance (p < 0.003, t > 2.922). This shows that job satisfaction mediates the relationship between the company's work environment, transformational leadership, and employee performance. We expect future research to expand our examination to include other public and private sector factors influencing employee performance and job satisfaction.

Abstract

Higher education is increasingly seen as a commodity that can be bought and sold in the global market. This phenomenon emerges along with the development of a culture of capitalism that penetrates into the academic realm. This research examines the role of transactional leadership in the commodification of higher education in Indonesia. Using a case study approach of literature review from various journals, this research investigates how transactional leadership practices contribute to the transformation of education into an economically fungible product. The research findings reveal that transactional leadership encourages the creation of a management system that is oriented towards financial gain. Students are viewed as consumers, while education becomes a service that must be sold competitively. Transactional leaders tend to adopt business strategies such as aggressive marketing, diversification of study programs, and exploitation of human resources to maximize institutional income. Furthermore, this study analyzes the impact of education commodification on learning quality, academic integrity, and the welfare of the academic community. The results show that commodification can sacrifice essential aspects of education, such as intellectual development, character building, and the pursuit of scientific truth, in order to pursue financial goals. This study concludes that transactional leadership has the potential to change the face of higher education into a pure business activity, with significant consequences for the quality and purpose of education itself. The findings make an important contribution to the discussion on the direction of higher education in Indonesia and the role of leadership in determining the values embraced by educational institutions.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of world gold prices, world oil prices, world coal prices, and exchange rates on the Indonesian composite stock index. The tests of the ponder are Indonesia's world oil prices, world gold prices, world coal prices, trade rate, geopolitical chance record, and composite stock prices for Indonesia, data from www.investing.com and www.policyuncertainty.com January 2020 to December 2023. The method used to analyze the data in this research is multiple regression analysis and residual tests for moderator variables. Through F test analysis it is known that simultaneously all variables X have a significant influence on the Indonesian Composite Stock Price Index at the 5% level. Based on these results, the research hypothesis is accepted. Furthermore, through t-test analysis (subtest), the variables of world gold prices, world oil prices, world coal prices, and exchange rates have a partially significant influence on the Indonesian Composite Stock Price Index at a confidence level of 100. It turns out to be 95% (a = 5%). It can be concluded that changes in these variables influence changes in the Indonesian composite stock index. In addition, geopolitical variables cannot moderate the relationship between all variables X and Y. This shows that geopolitical factors do not play a significant role in this context. The variation in the Indonesian Composite Stock Price Index of 88.0 can be explained by combining all variables X. The remaining 12.0% can be explained by other factors not included in the estimation model.

Abstract

Preserving the environment and maintaining health are shared responsibilities. A robust immune system and overall good health are essential for everyone. Health is fundamental to carrying out daily life effectively. While a strong immune system is crucial, maintaining other bodily functions is equally important for optimal well-being. These efforts are crucial not only for enhancing quality of life but also for preventing global warming. Therefore, this study examines the influence of green products and green promotions on consumer purchase decisions. Employing a quantitative approach with an explanatory method, the research involved 224 Tropicana Slim consumers in Yogya Junction, Cirebon City, who had purchased the product at least once. Data were analyzed using the structural equation modeling (SEM) approach with the partial least squares (PLS) method. The findings indicate that green products and green promotions significantly impact consumer purchase decisions. As evidenced by the test results (t-value for Green Product > 6.722, p-value < 0.000; t-value for Green Promotion > 4.923, p-value < 0.000), both hypotheses are supported. This confirms that green products and green promotions positively influence purchasing decisions. We expect future research with a broader sample and more robust methodologies to strengthen these findings.

Abstract

Conflict resolution in the context of industrial relations within the framework of labor law after the enactment of Law Number 2 of 2004 concerning Industrial Relations Dispute Settlement has been known through two mechanisms, namely voluntary settlement through bipartite mechanisms, conciliation, mediation, and arbitration, as well as compulsory settlement mechanisms through the Industrial Relations Court. However, the existence of the Industrial Relations Court poses several challenges, including workers' low understanding of the formal and material aspects of labor law, protracted processes, and substantial deficiencies in applicable law. Issues that arise around the resolution of industrial relations disputes include various factors, ranging from disputes regarding rights, interests, termination of employment, to disputes between unions in a company. In addition, the limited competence of the Industrial Relations Court also hinders effective resolution of labor disputes. This research adopts a normative juridical approach, which relies on positive legal analysis, especially Law Number 2 of 2004, as well as a review of judicial principles. The research findings identified a number of weaknesses, both in terms of structure and legal substance, that require updates in Industrial Relations Dispute Resolution in the Industrial Relations Court. One of the efforts to overcome these challenges is through reforms in the settlement process at the Industrial Relations Court, including the establishment of Industrial Relations Courts in each administrative region. However, Law Number 2 of 2004 is still considered unable to accommodate judicial principles
