Abstract

The design of the inverter control system aims to regulate active power and reactive power flows from the batteries through the three-phase inverter. Reference power generated manually to compensate the active and reactive power required by microgrid. Modelling done by the transformation clarke-park to design close loop system with PI (Proportional Integral) control so that the current flows in the inverter is maintained at the reference value. PLL (Phase Locked Loop) is used to synchronize inverter and grid. The simulation result shows that the system can work very well and the voltage or frequency of microgrid maintained under normal conditions.

Abstract

Hydro power plant is kind of electric power generation which utilize energy from water fall to produce electricity. One of its operational problem is limited water supply and available water which can be stored in reservoir. This limitation will affect the electrical energy can be generated by the hydro power plant. This paper present a methodology of medium term optimization of hydro power plant operation to maximize its energy production with considering water availability in reservoir as operational constraint. Operation optimization problem is formulated in Linear Programming model and then solved using Tomlab optimization software. Simulations using water flow data of Ketenger Hydro Power Plant on June 2013 show that this method can be used to solve hydro power plant operation optimization problem well. Based on the simulation results with a period of 720 hours (1 month) the total electrical energy that can be generated is equal to 2990.8 MWh. This value is 69,6 MWh (or 2,3%) greater when compared to the real condition of electrical power generated in June with ammount of 2921,2 MWh.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari pembebanan ekonomis adalah meminimalkan jumlah biaya operasi setiap unit generator dengan mempehatikan batasan persamaan dan ketidaksamaan sistem. Saat ini dengan meningkatnya perhatian pada polusi lingkungan yang diakibatkan proses pembakaran bahan bakar fossil pada pembangkit termal, emisi polutan tersebut juga menjadi kriteria yang harus diminimalkan. Pembebanan ekonomis dengan mengendalikan emisi (economic emission dispatch) yang adalah permasalahan multiobyektif mendapat peranan tersendiri dalam operasi ekonomis sistem tenaga listrik dan banyak mendapatkan perhatian para peneliti. Dalam penelitian ini metode faktor harga penalti diaplikasikan untuk merubah permasalahan multiobyektif kedalam bentuk persamaan obyektif tunggal. Penelitian ini memberikan sebuah pendekatan yang sederhana dan efektif untuk mencari solusi optimal permasalahan tersebut dengan menggunakan algoritma Evolusi Diferensial. Simulasi dilakukan pada sistem dengan skala unit kecil 3-unit dan 6-unit serta pada sistem dengan skala unit besar yaitu 40-unit pembangkit dengan program MATLAB. Hasil perhitungan memperlihatkan bahwa algoritma ini memberikan hasil yang lebih optimal dan efesien pada permasalahan kombinasi pembebanan optimal ekonomis dan emisi pada sistem dengan skala unit kecil dan memberikan keseimbangan antara biaya bahan bakar dan jumlah emisi jika diterapkan pada sistem dengan skala unit besar.

Abstract

Radiation monitor system or widely known as surveymeter has been widely used to monitor the rate of radiation exposure by utilizing detector to detect radiation pulses generated by radioactive substances. This study focused on testing the radiation monitor module used in the system of monitoring the transport of radioactive substances. The stability of the module was tested by chi square test with a standard source of Cs-137 performed a total of 20 data measurement range test instrument is done by providing a standard pulse from the pulse generator with a frequency of 1 to 327 kHz frequency as a substitute source of radiation and cps conversion factor to mR / h is done by comparing the results of measurements with standard tools. From the results of this study, the value of testing the stability of the background count 15.54 and the count value with 19.76 sources and within the range of 11,7 ≤ c2≤ 27,2 So this system is acceptable and has been functioning properly. While the conversion factor cps to mR / hr is 0.058 mR / jam.cps so the range radiation module is 0.058 mR / hr up to 18.98960 R / hour.

Abstract

This paper contains the results of the developmentand implementation of educational games in 3D , as opposed to methods of learning using educational games 2D and conventional learning methods . The purpose of the application to determine the effectiveness of the use of each learning method and whether or not the development of educational game in 3D as a learning tool . Evaluation of the 91 respondents kindergarten class B of 4 kindergarten in Semarang , 28 respondents in the conventional learning , learning by 32 respondents on educational games 2D , and 31 respondents in the study with 3D educational game . Analysis of the results of the evaluation using the Kruskal - Wallis test . Evaluation material consists of 20 instructional materials related to letters and numbers and associated material response 5 user 3D educational game that will be used . The results of the Kruskal - Wallis analysis showed a difference in learning outcomes and figures hurud using educational games in 3D , 2D and educational game conventional learning . Response 31 users when playing 3D games are 87 % of respondents felt interested in playing games , 81 % of respondents are consistent in playing the game , 100 % of respondents felt the background music and animations used in the game interesting , and 97 % of respondents smoothly when using it with a computer game .

Abstract

Information technology is an important investment. Rapid development with varying specifications, huge prices but obsolete technologies, forces managers to be prudent in acquiring. This study aims to explore the characteristics of IT infrastruktur that contribute to the achievement of strategic alignment, a concept that enabling the enhancement of company's sustainable competitive advantage. Through a combination of quantitative/quali-tative research methods and pilot-study approach, the study explores the characteristics of the case company's IT infrastructure. Results of the study is an indepth of the characteristics of a flexible IT infrastructure to a company engaged in the business of communication.

Abstract

The usage of cloud computing as continuously growing computing solutions becomes the base of organization and the company. On the other hand, the increase in the number of applications in the cloud system services raise another problems. Security issues become a threat in the authentication of the Cloud Computing services. Differences authentication model on every application that has been entered into cloud system become another threat for providers and users of cloud services. To solve these problems, a centralized authentication system is required in cloud applications using single sign-on protocol.

Abstract

The growth of online stores is proportional to theincrease in web usage data that is generated. Web Usage Mining can generate useful information based on web usage data. This information is required by the owner of the online shop to find information on frequently accessed pages and demanded items by visitors. This study is using Weighted Graph Web Usage Mining method for generating online shoppers access patterns. This methode include collecting web usage data when client using AJAX interface in real time, ¬ pre-processing to generate the database traversal and discovering pattern with Weighted Frequent Patterns Mining methods. The results show that Weighted Graph Web Usage Mining can generate informations about frequently accessed pages and demanded items by visitors in a given period based on visitors access pattern.

Abstract

The increased of web traffic and the development of the network bandwidth is relatively faster than the development of microprocessor technology led to today's server platforms one point no longer adequate to meet the needs of system scalability web server. Multiple server platforms is the answer. One solution that has been known is a cluster-based web server system. This research would be testing a web workload distribution on a cluster-based web server system by means of generating HTTP workloads statically (with fast HTTP requests per second is fixed) and dynamic (with HTTP requests per second rapidly changing or ride on a regular basis ) from the client to a web server system pool. Followed by analysis of traffic data packets. And then compare the results of the testing of the web workload distribution among the Least Connection algorithm (without weights) and Weighted Least Connection algorithm (with weights).

Abstract

The growth of IPTV technology in Indonesia, particularly in Semarang, doesn’t expand significantly comparing to overseas developements. Therefore, a research about the causes of underdeveloping IPTV technology acceptance is needed. One of PT Telkom’s products that utilized IPTV technology is Groovia TV. In providing Groovia TV service, PT Telkom has improved the networking performance, using this attempt to increase the revenues through triple play, phone/voices, datas and multimedias, however Groovia TV’s customers hasn’t been significant. This thesis analyzes the acceptance of IPTV technology with study case of groovia TV in Semarang. Model that has been used is based on TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) model and analyzed with SEM (Structural Equaion Modelling). This research took a random sampling of the population in Semarang with the speedy customer that had been using Groovia TV, either they still actively use it or has stopped.The research was conducted on February 2013. The results showed that Attitude Toward IPTV (ATT) and perceived of usefulnee (PU) would influence the Intention to Use (IU). Perceived of ease of use (PEU), perceived of enjoyment, and perceived of quality (PQ) will affect ATT as well. Normative pressure (NP) and Price Level (PL) has no direct influence on IU. Customer wishes to use TV Groovia is influenced by perceptions of service quality, perceived preferences, ease of use and benefits obtained, so for PT Telkom as the provider, those four things should be the main concern, especially Groovia TV is running with substantial bandwidth, therefore , the network accesst must be reliable.
