Abstract

Job satisfaction is the difference between expectations and reality of the benefits obtained at work. In general, job satisfaction reflects a person's attitude towards their work. Qualified human resources who have good performance are difficult to obtain, because job satisfaction is influenced by various factors, such as Internal Service Quality and workload. This study aims to analyze the effect of Internal Service Quality and workload on job satisfaction at RSU Royal Prima Medan. This research is a descriptive quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The study population involved 623 employees of RSU Royal Prima Medan, both medical and nonmedical. The sample was taken using systematic sampling method, with a minimum number of 185 respondents based on the calculation of 5 times the number of indicators (37 indicators). Data collection was conducted through questionnaires, and data analysis included univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analysis. The results showed that the majority of respondents were 31-40 years old (49.2%), female (78.4%), had the latest education S1 (53.5%), and had a length of work of more than 2 years (82.7%). Bivariate analysis shows that Internal Service Quality has a significant influence on job satisfaction with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Similarly, workload significantly influenced job satisfaction with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Multivariate analysis shows that the Internal Service Quality factor is the most dominant variable affecting job satisfaction at RSU Royal Prima Medan. Internal service quality and managing workload to improve employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

Rumah sakit harus beradaptasi dengan perubahan permintaan layanan kesehatan dengan menerapkan strategi pemasaran yang efektif, termasuk electronic word of mouth (E-WOM) dan memperkuat citra rumah sakit. Upaya ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan publik dan mendorong penggunaan kembali layanan kesehatan. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh E-WOM dan citra rumah sakit terhadap kepuasan dan loyalitas pasien di RSU Royal Prima Medan. Pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 8.001 pasien yang mengunjungi RSU Royal Prima Medan pada tahun 2023. Menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), sampel sebanyak 200 pasien dipilih untuk dianalisis. Data diproses melalui analisis univariat, bivariat, dan multivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden adalah laki-laki (62,5%), berusia 35-49 tahun (35,5%), berpendidikan sekolah menengah (55%), dan tidak bekerja (31,5%). Analisis menunjukkan bahwa E-WOM berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan dan loyalitas pasien, sementara citra rumah sakit juga memiliki pengaruh kuat terhadap kedua variabel tersebut. Secara bersamaan, E-WOM dan citra rumah sakit berkontribusi terhadap kepuasan dan loyalitas pasien secara keseluruhan. Di antara faktor-faktor tersebut, citra rumah sakit muncul sebagai variabel yang paling dominan mempengaruhi kepuasan dan loyalitas pasien. Memperkuat reputasi rumah sakit dan memanfaatkan E-WOM dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan pasien dan loyalitas jangka panjang terhadap layanan kesehatan.Kata Kunci: E-WOM, Citra Rumah Sakit, Kepuasan Pasien, Loyalitas Pasien Hospitals face the challenge of change by building marketing strategies through electronic word of mouth (E-WOM) and strengthening hospital image to increase public trust, which is expected to encourage the intention of reuse of health services. This study aims to analyze the effect of E-WOM and hospital image on patient satisfaction and loyalty in visits to RSU Royal Prima Medan. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach with a cross-sectional design. The study population was all patients of RSU Royal Prima Medan in 2023, totaling 8,001 patients. The research sample was taken using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method as many as 200 patients. Data were analyzed using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analysis. The results showed that the majority of respondents were male (62.5%), aged 35-49 years (35.5%), had a high school education (55%), and were not working (31.5%). The analysis shows the influence of E-WOM on patient satisfaction, the influence of hospital image on patient satisfaction, and the influence of E-WOM on patient loyalty. In addition, hospital image also affects patient loyalty. Simultaneously, E-WOM and hospital image affect patient satisfaction and loyalty. Abstract

Sejalan dengan pemindahan ibu kota baru di wilayah Kalimantan Timur, dalam ketentuan pasal 4 Ayat (1) Huruf b UU IKN menyebutkan bahwa Otorita Ibu Kota Nusantara sebagai lembaga setingkat kementerian yang menyelenggarakan Pemerintahan Daerah Khusus Ibu Kota Nusantara, dan Pasal 5 Ayat (4) UU IKN yang menyebutkan bahwa Kepala Otorita Ibu Kota Nusantara merupakan kepala Pemerintah Daerah Khusus Ibu Kota Nusantara yang berkedudukan setingkat menteri, ditunjuk, diangkat, dan diberhentikan oleh Presiden setelah berkonsultasi dengan DPR.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis dampak jangka panjang yang timbul dari model pemerintahan terpusat terhadap pelaksanaan sistem pemerintahan baru di Wilayah Ibu Kota Nusantara. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian hukum normatif dengan menggunakan Pendekatan Perundang-undangan dan Pendekatan Konseptual. Adapun hasil penelitian ini, dampak yang timbul akan berpengaruh pada politik lokal, demokrasi serta representasi masyarakat atas perwakilannya, dan yang paling mendasar adalah hak konstitusionalnya sebagai warga negara. Sudah dipastikan tidak ada representasi lokal pada sistem politik perwakilan seperti saat ini.Kata Kunci: Ibu Kota Nusantara, Desentralisasi, dan Sentralisasi. In line with the relocation of the new capital city in the East Kalimantan region, in the provisions of Article 4 Paragraph (1) Letter b of the IKN Law, it is stated that the Nusantara Capital City Authority as a ministerial-level institution that organizes the Special Regional Government of the Nusantara Capital City, and Article 5 Paragraph (4) of the IKN Law which states that the Head of the Nusantara Capital Authority is the head of the Nusantara Capital Special Regional Government with a ministerial position, appointed and dismissed by the President after consulting with the House of Representatives. The purpose of this study is to analyze the long-term impact of the centralized governance model on the implementation of the new governance system in the Nusantara Capital city region. This study uses a type of normative legal research using a Legislative Approach and a Conceptual Approach. As for the results of this study, the implications will affect local politics, democracy, community representation of their representatives, and the most basic is their constitutional rights as citizens. It is certain that there is no local representation in the representative political system like today.Key Words: Nusantara Capital City, Decentralization, and Centralization.

AbstrakPeran bimbingan perkawinan pranikah sesuai dengan tujuan pernikahan yaitu untuk mewujudkan keluarga sakinah mawaddah warrahmah sesuai dengan ajaran agama Islam. Bimwin sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas kehidupan keluarga yang harmonis. Pelaksanaan bimbingan perkawinan di Kantor KUA khususnya di Kota Medan memiliki tantangan dari masyarakat, kurangnya kesadaran akan pentingnya mengikuti bimbingan perkawinan dan menganggap pelaksanaan bimbingan perkawinan hanya sebagai pelengkap administrasi pernikahan. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tantangan KUA dalam pelaksanaan bimbingan perkawinan dan upaya KUA dalam mewujudkan keluarga sakinah di Kota Medan. Metode penelitian ini pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Bimbingan perkawinan di Kantor Urusan Agama di kota Medan berfungsi sebagai penyampai informasi penting untuk para calon pengantin melalui materi dan fasilitator yang disampaikan, khususnya informasi tentang pentingnya memiliki dasar pengetahuan agama bagi pasangan suami isteri, juga persiapan sebagai orangtua dalam mendidik anak-anak dengan dasar agama. Bimbingan perkawinan bermanfaat untuk pasangan pengantin dalam membangun masa depan yang lebih terarah, mengurangi risiko keretakan hubungan, memudahkan dalam penyatuan visi dan saling memahami keluarga pasangan.Kata Kunci: Kantor Urusan Agama, Bimbingan Perkawinan, Pelaksanaan AbstractThe role of premarital marriage guidance is in accordance with the purpose of marriage, namely to realize a harmonious family, mawaddah, warrahmah, in accordance with Islamic teachings. Bimwin as an effort to improve the quality of harmonious family life. The implementation of marriage guidance at the KUA Office, especially in Medan City, has challenges from the community, lack of awareness of the importance of following marriage guidance and considering the implementation of marriage guidance only as a complement to marriage administration. The purpose of this study was to determine the challenges of the KUA in implementing marriage guidance and the efforts of the KUA in realizing a harmonious family in Medan City. This research method is a qualitative approach. The results of the study showed that marriage guidance at the Religious Affairs Office in Medan City functions as a conveyor of important information for prospective brides and grooms through the materials and facilitators presented, especially information about the importance of having a basic knowledge of religion for married couples, as well as preparation as parents in educating children with a religious basis. Marriage guidance is useful for couples in building a more focused future, reducing the risk of relationship breakdown, facilitating the unification of visions and understanding each other's families.Keywords: Office of Religious Affairs, Marriage Guidance, Implementation

Abstract

Penelitian ini dikaji dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendekatan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Serta langkah – langkah yang diterapkan guna meningkatkan hasil belajar dalam proses pendidikan di MtsS Al washliyah 47 kota binjai. Study ini menggunakan metode gramatikal terjamah yang dikombinasikan dengan audio visual sebagai pendekatan utama. Penelitian ini berfokus pada mengidentifikasikan strategi yang digunakan oleh pendidik untuk mengatasi kejenuhan belajar serta membangun suasana belajar yang lebih interaktitf dan menyenangkan. Pendekatan pembelajaran memiliki peran krusial sebagai alat untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan serta sebagai sarana yang memfasilitasi kelancaran proses belajar – mengajar. Dalam penelitian ini, metode gramatikal – terjamah digunakan dengan menitik beratkan pada keterampilan, membaca, menulis, dan menerjamahkan serta berkontribusi dalam pengembangan kemampuan berpikir siswa. Penerjemahan menjadi strategi utama dalam proses pengajaran agar metode ini lebih efektif, media berbasis audio visual dimanfaatkan sebagai alat bantu dalam menyampaikan materi Penggunaan media ini memungkinkan penyajian informasi secara lebih interaktif melalui kombinasi suara dan gambar, sehingga tidak hanya menjadikan pembelajaran lebih menarik serta berkontribusi dalam memperbaiki pencapaian belajar siswa, terutama dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa arab.Kata Kunci: Strategi, Pembelajaran, Bahasa arab, Gramatikal, Audio-visual This research is studied using a qualitative descriptive approach aimed at analyzing the approach in the teaching and learning process. As well as the steps applied to improve learning outcomes in the educational process at MtsS Al Washliyah 47 Binjai City. This study uses a touchable grammatical method combined with audio visual as the main approach. This study focuses on identifying strategies used by educators to overcome learning boredom and build a more interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere. The learning approach has a crucial role as a tool to achieve educational goals and as a means to facilitate the smoothness of the teaching and learning process. In this study, the grammatical-translated method is used by emphasizing skills, reading, writing, and translating and contributing to the development of students' thinking skills. Translation is the main strategy in the teaching process in order for this method to be more effective, audio-visual media are used as a tool in delivering material The use of this media allows the presentation of information more interactively through a combination of sound and images, so that it not only makes learning more interesting but also contributes to improving student learning outcomes, especially in the Arabic language learning process.Keywords: Effort, Learning, Arabic, Gramatical, Audio-visual

Abstract

Keterampilan berbicara di depan umum merupakan salah satu kemampuan penting yang perlu dikembangkan oleh siswa untuk menunjang keberhasilannya dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan. Metode bercerita merupakan salah satu strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara di depan umum siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara di depan umum siswa SD Al Fityah melalui penerapan metode bercerita. Keunggulan penelitian ini dibandingkan penelitian lain yang relevan terletak pada penggunaan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dimana peneliti langsung menerapkan metode bercerita dalam proses pembelajaran, sedangkan penelitian lain pada umumnya terbatas pada observasi dan wawancara. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif digunakan untuk mengeksplorasi proses pembelajaran yang interaktif dan relevan melalui bercerita. Proses pembelajaran meliputi pemilihan cerita yang tepat, penyampaian cerita dengan teknik yang menarik, dan pemberian kesempatan kepada siswa untuk menceritakan kembali di depan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode bercerita secara signifikan meningkatkan rasa percaya diri, kelancaran berbicara, dan kemampuan menyampaikan pesan secara sistematis dan ekspresif. Selain itu, siswa menjadi lebih terampil dalam menggunakan intonasi, bahasa tubuh, dan ekspresi wajah yang merupakan unsur penting dalam berbicara di depan umum. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan diskusi untuk mengetahui dampak metode ini terhadap perkembangan siswa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah metode bercerita terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara di depan umum siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi guru untuk menerapkan metode ini secara berkelanjutan sebagai bagian dari strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif dan menyenangkan.Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Berbicara, Metode Bercerita, Pembelajaran, Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, Kepercayaan Diri Siswa Public speaking skills are one of the important abilities that students need to develop to support their success in various fields of life. The storytelling method is one of the effective strategies in improving students' public speaking skills. This study aims to enhance students' public speaking skills at SD Al Fityah through the application of storytelling method. The advantage of this study over other relevant studies lies in the use of the classroom action research (PTK) method, where researchers directly apply the storytelling method in the learning process, while other studies are generally limited to observations and interviews. A descriptive qualitative approach was used to explore the interactive and relevant learning process through storytelling. The learning process includes selecting appropriate stories, delivering stories with interesting techniques, and providing opportunities for students to retell in front of the class. The results showed that the storytelling method significantly improved students' confidence, speaking fluency, and ability to convey messages systematically and expressively. In addition, students became more skillful in using intonation, body language, and facial expressions, which are important elements in public speaking. Evaluation was conducted through observations, interviews, and discussions to understand the impact of this method on student development. The conclusion of this study is that the storytelling method is proven to be effective in improving students' public speaking skills. Therefore, this study provides recommendations for teachers to implement this method sustainably as part of an innovative and fun learning strategy.Keywords: Speaking Skills, Storytelling Method, Learning, Classroom Action Research, Student Self-Confidence

Abstract

Permasalahan kedisiplinan yang sering terjadi antara lain keterlambatan, ketidakhadiran, dan perilaku tidak sopan yang dapat mengganggu proses pembelajaran dan menimbulkan suasana tidak nyaman di madrasah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara fungsi pengawasan kepala madrasah dengan kedisiplinan siswa di MTs Tunas Pelita Binjai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara fungsi pengawasan kepala madrasah dengan kedisiplinan siswa, dengan nilai rhitung sebesar 0,779 lebih besar dari rtabel pada taraf signifikan 5% sebesar 0,3610. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah semakin baik fungsi pengawasan kepala madrasah maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kedisiplinan siswa. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah kepala madrasah perlu meningkatkan efektivitas supervisi dengan strategi yang lebih sistematis dan berkelanjutan untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih disiplin dan kondusif.Kata Kunci: Supervisi, Kepala Madrasah, Kedisiplinan Siswa, Pembelajaran The common disciplinary issues include tardiness, absenteeism, and disrespectful behaviour, which can disrupt the learning process and create an uncomfortable atmosphere in the madrasa. This study aims to analyse the relationship between the supervisory function of the madrasa principal and student discipline at MTs Tunas Pelita Binjai. This research employs a quantitative method with a correlational approach. Data collection techniques include questionnaires and documentation. The results indicate a positive relationship between the supervisory function of the madrasa principal and student discipline, with a calculated r-value of 0.779, which is greater than the table r-value) of 0.3610 at a 5% significance level. The conclusion of this study is that the better the supervisory function of the madrasa principal, the higher the level of student discipline. The recommendation from this research is that the madrasa principal should enhance the effectiveness of supervision through more systematic and sustainable strategies to create a more disciplined and conducive learning environment.Keywords: Supervision, Principal Madrasah, Student Discipline, Learning.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terkandung dalam Surah Al-Jum’uah berdasarkan dua tafsir terkemuka, yaitu Al-Misbah karya Quraish Shihab dan Al-Wasith karya Wahbah Zuhaili. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali dimensi pendidikan yang dapat dijadikan panduan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Surah Al-Jum’uah memiliki pesan moral dan spiritual yang mendalam, terutama terkait dengan pentingnya ilmu, pemanfaatan waktu, dan keutamaan ibadah. Dalam Tafsir Al-Misbah, Quraish Shihab menyoroti pesan-pesan universal Al-Qur’an yang relevan dengan tantangan modern, sementara Tafsir Al-Wasith oleh Wahbah Zuhaili memberikan pendekatan linguistik dan analisis tematik yang memperkaya pemahaman tentang nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terkandung dalam surah ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka dengan pendekatan analisis tematik, yang mencakup identifikasi tema-tema utama, interpretasi teks berdasarkan kedua tafsir, dan penarikan kesimpulan dari temuan-temuan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai pendidikan dalam Surah Al-Jum’uah meliputi nilai keimanan, yang mengajarkan kesadaran tentang kebesaran Allah dan pentingnya pengakuan atas tauhid; nilai ilmu pengetahuan, yang menekankan pentingnya pendidikan holistik mencakup aspek spiritual dan intelektual; serta nilai amal shaleh, yang menegaskan perlunya keseimbangan antara ibadah dan aktivitas duniawi. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi kajian pendidikan Islam serta menjadi pedoman praktis bagi umat Islam dalam menjalani kehidupan yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an.Kata Kunci: Nilai-nilai Pendidikan; Tafsir Al-Misbah dan Al-Wasith; Pendidikan Islam; Surah Al-Jum’uah This article examine the educational values contained in Surah al-Jum'uah based on two prominent interpretations, namely Al-Misbah by Quraish Shihab and Al-Wasith by Wahbah Zuhaili. Surah al-Jum'uah contains a profound moral and spiritual message, particularly concerning the significance of knowledge, the utilization of time, and the merits of worship. In the interpretation of al-Misbah, Quraish Shihab emphasizes universal messages of the Qur'an that are pertinent to contemporary challenges. Conversely, Al-Wasith's interpretation by Wahbah Zuhaili employs a linguistic approach and thematic analysis to enhance the comprehension of the educational values contained in this Surah. The research method employed is a literature study with a thematic analysis approach, which includes the identification of the main themes, the interpretation of text based on the two interpretations, and the drawing of conclusions from these findings. The results of the study indicated that the educational values inherent in Surah al-Jum'uah encompass the value of faith, which fosters awareness of the grandeur of God and the significance of recognizing monotheism; the value of science, which underscores the importance of holistic education encompassing spiritual and intellectual dimensions; and the value of charity pious, which substantiates the necessity for a balance between worship and worldly endeavors. This article is expected to contribute to the study of Islamic education and become a practical guide for Muslims in living a life based on the values of the Qur'an.Keywords: Education Values; Tafsir Al-Misbah and Al Wasith; Islamic Education; Surah Al-Jum’uah

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is an educational discipline that aims to cultivate students' spiritual, moral, and character development. To this end, numerous educational institutions (madrasas) have effectively implemented character education programs, utilizing models that they have developed autonomously. This particular madrasa exemplifies the optimal approach to character education through religious instruction in Indonesia. The objective of this study is to investigate the efficacy of Islamic religious education at Mas Du Al Muhajirin Padang Cermin. The present study employs a qualitative approach. The data was collected through a combination of interviews, group discussions (focus group discussions), observations, and documentation. The results indicated that the role of the madrasa head was found to be of significant importance in the continuity and support of the development of religious activities in the madrasa. Furthermore, the PAI teacher was identified as a central figure in the success of the religious development and the style of student religious thinking. Additionally, the role of the Rohis position was determined to be very strategic in developing the younger generation who had moderate, tolerant, and Islam rahmatan lil alamin beliefs. The implementation of tadarus at the commencement of each lesson, the duha prayer, congregational prayer, the implementation of PHBI, cult after congregational prayers, cultrian, pesantren kilat, and mentoring became a reinforcement or standard in the implementation of religious activities in madrasas.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas prinsip albiah khoiruh ummah dalam pembentukan karakter siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta (MAS) Al Washliyah Stabat. Prinsip ini menekankan pembentukan umat terbaik melalui pendidikan berbasis nilai-nilai Islam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis penerapan prinsip Albiah khoiruh ummah dalam proses pendidikan karakter siswa serta dampaknya terhadap perkembangan moral dan sosial mereka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi di MAS Al Washliyah Stabat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip albiah khoiruh ummah diimplementasikan melalui berbagai kegiatan pembelajaran dan pembiasaan, seperti pembinaan akhlak, pembelajaran berbasis nilai Islam, serta interaksi sosial yang berlandaskan kesantunan dan kejujuran. Implementasi prinsip ini secara signifikan berkontribusi dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang religius, disiplin, dan memiliki rasa tanggung jawab sosial yang tinggi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan prinsip Albiah khoiruh ummah di lingkungan pendidikan dapat menjadi model efektif dalam membangun karakter siswa yang berakhlak mulia. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam untuk terus mengembangkan metode pembelajaran yang berbasis nilai-nilai Islam guna mencetak generasi yang berintegritas. This principle emphasizes the formation of the best community through education based on Islamic values. The objective of this study is to analyze the implementation of the albiah khoiruh ummah principle in character education and its impact on students’ moral and social development. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation at MAS Al Washliyah Stabat. The findings indicate that the Albiah khoiruh ummah principle is implemented through various learning activities and habituation, such as moral coaching, value-based learning, and social interactions grounded in courtesy and honesty. The application of this principle significantly contributes to shaping students with religious devotion, discipline, and a strong sense of social responsibility. The study concludes that implementing the Albiah khoiruh ummah principle in educational settings can serve as an effective model for developing students with noble character. Therefore, it is crucial for Islamic educational institutions to continuously develop teaching methods based on Islamic values to foster a generation with integrity.
