Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui praktik agen dan struktur pada Lembaga Amil ZakatMadhani Human Care (LAZ MHC) Kota Dumai dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Kota Dumai. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan metode triangulasi. Pada hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Lembaga Amil Zakat Madhani Human Care (LAZ MHC) berupaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Kota Dumai dengan mengunakan peranan praktik agen dan struktur.  Terdapat tiga agen dalam  mealukan pemberdayaan dana zakat dibidang pendidikan yang mengawali perubahan dengan kesadaran diskursifnya. Peran yang dilakukan dalam perubahan sosial dalam bidang pendidikan adalah dengan cara sosialisasi, kepercayaan, komunikasi, interprestasi dan nilai moral. Peranan struktur berawal dari kondisi pendidikan Kota Dumai yang kurang baik sehingga adanya peranan Lembaga Amil Zakat Madhani Human Care (LAZ MHC), Dinas Pendidikan dan kebudayaan beserta Dinas Sosial dalam mewujudkan pendidikan berkualitas lebih baik di Kota Dumai. Adapun hubungan antara agen dengan struktur dalam penelitian ini terjadi melalui skema struktur dominasi (penguasaan agen terhadap struktur), signifikansi (ajakan agen pada struktur), dan mencapai skema legitimasi (pembenaran atas upaya agen oleh struktur).

Abstract

All processes of social interaction in humans are important, including being useful as an effort to build relationships between them. One form of social interaction that occurs in humans is playing. The sophistication of adult technology now presents various developments in playing such as online games. The process of playing online games is proven to leave various kinds of social problems, including verbal violence. This research is a case study using a qualitative method that aims to look deeper into the phenomenon of verbal violence that occurs among online game players in coffee shops which are a forum for social interaction for the surrounding community, located in Lhokseumawe City, in Aceh's construction as Veranda of Mecca. The research subjects were verbal violence in online games, and the objects of this research were academics, community leaders, and online game players. Data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews using the habitus theory approach. The results of the study show that the neglect of cultural values and the Islamic Shari'a system by online game players triggers verbal violence behavior. In line with these conditions, other variables that become triggers are self-principles, stress, opponents at play, imitating behavior and weak supervision and application of rules.

Abstract

Pengaruh kondisi ekonomi keluarga mengakibatkan timbulnya anak jalanan yang melibatkan anak melakukan pekerjaan seharusnya tidak dilakukan, dengan anak bekerja akan membantu meringankan beban orang tuanya. Hal ini disebabkan kondisi ekonomi yang sulit, tingkat pendidikan rendah dan keterbatasan kemampuan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan anak. Akibatnya, tanggung jawab orang tua dipindahkan kepada anak untuk membantu memberikan kontribusi finansial dalam keluarga. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pendapatan orang tua yang minim tidak cukup untuk dalam memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari dan kebutuhan sekolah. Orang tua mengizinkan anaknya bekerja sebagai pengamen badut karena keluarga menghadapi kesulitan ekonomi. Uang yang dihasilkan tidak cukup untuk membeli makan, membeli perlengkapan sekolah serta membeli kebutuhan lainnya. Alasan orang tua membiarkan anak-anak bekerja sebagai pengamen badut melibatkan cara berfikir rasional. Alasan informan pun berbeda-beda. Informan orang tua mengizinkan anaknya bekerja untuk mendapatkan sejumlah uang yang akan dipakai untuk membeli LKS (Lembar Kerja Siswa), membeli kebutuhan sekolah, uang jajan, membayar uang sewa custom badut dan ada inisiatif dari anak sendiri untuk bekerja untuk mengurangi beban orang tuanya. Sikap orang tua terhadap anaknya yaitu mendukung anak bekerja dengan alasan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sekolah, mendukung untuk memenuhi ekonomi keluarga, mendukung agar anak mandiri. Budaya dan perjuangan hidup berperan penting dalam mempengaruhi keputusan keluarga untuk melibatkan anak-anak mereka dalam pekerjaan. Nilai-nilai budaya sering memberikan justifikasi bagi pekerjaan anak, sementara kondisi ekonomi yang sulit memaksa keluarga untuk memanfaatkan tenaga kerja anak sebagai strategi bertahan hidup.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bagaimana eksistensi diri waria di Kota Medan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, karena penelitian ini termasuk dalam data dekskriptif kehidupan sosial waria. Keberadaan diri waria memiliki konsep yang cukup luas dalam suatu proses yaitu panggung depan dan panggung belakang dibentuk oleh imajinasi, emosi, dan kognisi. Kelompok waria adalah jenis orientasi seksual ketiga dari jenis orientasi seksual absolut dan seksualitas yang terbentuk melalui tekanan dan sosialisasi, kemudian diinternalisasi menjadi tindakan secara normal, karena orientasi seksualitas berjalan biasanya sesuai dengan jenis orientasi seksual telah dipilih.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought changes to the world of education. Gadgets and the internet are effective media used during online learning. Students at SMA Negeri 1 Galang have become accustomed to using devices and various learning applications. Gadgets become something valuable and a necessity. The use of gadgets gives birth to new behaviors that are not present just like that. The habitus of using devices is getting stronger after online learning. The purpose of this study is to see the extent of the habitus of using devices after online learning for Class XII students of SMAN Negeri 1 Galang TP. 2023/2024. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive method. The results showed that the use of gadgets during online learning changed the informants' interaction patterns with technology. Habits in the use of gadgets have an influence on the lives of informants and form new habits. In addition, schools and families as arenas (fields) participate in shaping the habitus of using gadgets. Providing gadgets is done without planning and equipping students with strong digital literacy. Meanwhile, in power relations, students dominate teachers and parents in the use of devices. The use of devices after online learning supports students' social capital, making it easier to interact and build friendship networks. Gadgets also become symbolic capital for students, where the model, brand and price of gadgets become a reference for students to be said to be “cool”. Gadgets as cultural capital show that students who are able to use various applications and utilize gadgets for learning and positive things are considered smarter by their friends. Meanwhile, gadgets as economic capital show that students are able to utilize gadgets as a tool to earn money and transact online. After online learning, the habitus of using gadgets is more used for games, social media, shopping and online transactions than for learning activities

AbstrakPeran bimbingan perkawinan pranikah sesuai dengan tujuan pernikahan yaitu untuk mewujudkan keluarga sakinah mawaddah warrahmah sesuai dengan ajaran agama Islam. Bimwin sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas kehidupan keluarga yang harmonis. Pelaksanaan bimbingan perkawinan di Kantor KUA khususnya di Kota Medan memiliki tantangan dari masyarakat, kurangnya kesadaran akan pentingnya mengikuti bimbingan perkawinan dan menganggap pelaksanaan bimbingan perkawinan hanya sebagai pelengkap administrasi pernikahan. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tantangan KUA dalam pelaksanaan bimbingan perkawinan dan upaya KUA dalam mewujudkan keluarga sakinah di Kota Medan. Metode penelitian ini pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Bimbingan perkawinan di Kantor Urusan Agama di kota Medan berfungsi sebagai penyampai informasi penting untuk para calon pengantin melalui materi dan fasilitator yang disampaikan, khususnya informasi tentang pentingnya memiliki dasar pengetahuan agama bagi pasangan suami isteri, juga persiapan sebagai orangtua dalam mendidik anak-anak dengan dasar agama. Bimbingan perkawinan bermanfaat untuk pasangan pengantin dalam membangun masa depan yang lebih terarah, mengurangi risiko keretakan hubungan, memudahkan dalam penyatuan visi dan saling memahami keluarga pasangan.Kata Kunci: Kantor Urusan Agama, Bimbingan Perkawinan, Pelaksanaan AbstractThe role of premarital marriage guidance is in accordance with the purpose of marriage, namely to realize a harmonious family, mawaddah, warrahmah, in accordance with Islamic teachings. Bimwin as an effort to improve the quality of harmonious family life. The implementation of marriage guidance at the KUA Office, especially in Medan City, has challenges from the community, lack of awareness of the importance of following marriage guidance and considering the implementation of marriage guidance only as a complement to marriage administration. The purpose of this study was to determine the challenges of the KUA in implementing marriage guidance and the efforts of the KUA in realizing a harmonious family in Medan City. This research method is a qualitative approach. The results of the study showed that marriage guidance at the Religious Affairs Office in Medan City functions as a conveyor of important information for prospective brides and grooms through the materials and facilitators presented, especially information about the importance of having a basic knowledge of religion for married couples, as well as preparation as parents in educating children with a religious basis. Marriage guidance is useful for couples in building a more focused future, reducing the risk of relationship breakdown, facilitating the unification of visions and understanding each other's families.Keywords: Office of Religious Affairs, Marriage Guidance, Implementation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas santri sebagai citizen journalism melalui workshop jurnalistik di Pesantren SASBARA, Simalungun. Pesantren berperan penting dalam membentuk moral santri serta mempersiapkan mereka untuk berkontribusi dalam masyarakat, salah satunya melalui jurnalisme warga. Namun, keterampilan menulis santri masih kurang sehingga diperlukan pelatihan khusus. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendampingan partisipatif yang melibatkan santri secara aktif dalam berbagai tahapan, mulai dari ceramah, diskusi, hingga praktik langsung. Workshop ini berlangsung selama dua hari dengan penyampaian materi tentang penulisan berita, pengambilan foto, dan pembuatan video jurnalistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan santri dalam menulis berita dan mengambil foto sesuai standar jurnalistik. Kesimpulannya, workshop ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi santri sebagai jurnalis warga, yang diharapkan mampu berkontribusi dalam penyebaran informasi yang bermanfaat di lingkungan mereka, sekaligus mendukung tujuan SDGs ke-4 tentang pendidikan berkualitas.

Abstract

The phenomenon of drug abuse that occurs in the younger generation is increasingly worrying, not only occurs in ordinary people but has also spread to various professions and involves students or students. Previously there was a case of arrest and raids carried out in the USU campus environment and found two suspects BS and NK who carried 740 grams and 850 grams of marijuana. The purpose of this study is to see how relationships are formed in cases of drug abuse that occur in alumni and students of the University of North Sumatra, and to see what factors cause drug abusers to use drugs. This research method is qualitative with in-depth interviews with key informants and ordinary informants. The results show that there are factors of drug use among alumni and students caused by the influence of friends and seniors. This aims to make it easier to enter the friendship environment on campus. So that the formation of relationships among drug abusers is always changing, utilizing friendships to get drugs, and friendship relationships that are always in conflict. Alumni or students who still use drugs will use their income to obtain drugs, while those who do not have income, for example students, will lie to their families by using the pocket money left by their parents to obtain drugs.
