Abstract

This research is aimed to determine the benefits of urine and milk’s camel as a medicine, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungial. It is related with hadith of Prophet Muhammad, Peace upon on Him (puh) about the benefits of milk and urine’s camel. Camel urine is used as an alternative medicine for Middle Eastern societies. But there is controversy in consuming camel urine especially for some people whose think that camel urine as a najis. The result from in vitro laboratory has proved that camel urine as an inhibitor of cancer cells, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal. Until now yet research found on health tests for people who routinely consume camel urine. In addition, there have not been many studies in vivo. Based on the study side of fiqh, Shafi'i and Hanafi school of thought (madzhab) regard camel urine so najis that it should not be consumed. Meanwhile according to the Hanbali of school of thought (madzhab) the camel urine is not najis because the camel is a halal animal eaten, while the Maliki school of thought (madzhab) has the same opinion with the Hanbali school of thought (madzhab) but if the animal consumes something that is najis then the law of dirt and urine becomes najis.

Abstract

The world has faced a quite serious problem, namely decreasing environmental quality. As data released by UNEP in 2011 and 2012, that some indicators of the environmental quality are getting worse as occurs in Indonesia. Indonesia has the second highest biodiversity in the world after Brazil, but before that diversity has been successfully learned and utilized, nature is already damaged. It is marked by the loss of natural forest, coral reef damage, and so on. If there is not immediately respond, the environment will not able to support human life in a sustainable manner. Therefore, inculcation is important as the value to students who will use nature as the next generation. Planting can be realized through education, it is known the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). One kind of learning is biology which has the same material curriculum and will be integrated with Islamic material. The author hopes that in the next will be born the students who are able to support the sustainability of development. Both because of scientific awareness of science taught through biology or awareness of God's command taught through his fusion with religion. This paper used an explorative writing that is qualitative-descriptive and pure research. The results concluded that the learning of integration-interconnection of Islam and science in biology learning can help the success of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).

Abstract

Technological progress has not been able to accommodate the principal needs of people in Crangah, especially in food matters. This paper aimed to review the potential and obstacles of herbal garden utilization, especially in household-scale vegetable cultivation in Crangah. To provide knowledge and cultivate herbal garden training independently or groups to support food safety and economic enterprises on a household scale. The obstacles are about socio-cultural and economic problems, that the herbal garden cultivation with polybag systems is not yet cultured, the lacking technology of herbal garden cultivation with the processing of agricultural products, and non-market-oriented are problems that must be addressed immediately to realizing food safety and economic efforts on a household-scale. The first step is preparing soil and goat feces compound and media planting polybags with various sizes. Second, put in the soil and goat feces compound into a polybag. Third, put in ready-planted vegetable seeds and tidy it up on a bamboo-shelf to avoid pest and look good. Fourth, watering the plant every morning and evening to grow and developed well. Fifth, the seeds that have been planted after a few weeks will be ready to be harvested and can be consumed. The people responded positively with this activity, especially in the vegetable cultivation venture, the herbal garden can grow around the local house’s yard.

Abstract

Community service program in the form of hydroponic cultivation of land use programs by Women Farmer Groups Anggraeni in Clumprit, Gebosari, Samigaluh, Kulon Progo is expected to be an alternative for society who have limited land so that they can be used as a source of sufficient income. Hydroponics is a method of farming using planting media in the form of pumice, gravel, sand, coconut fiber, pieces of wood and foam.  This has implemented as the function of the soil is to support plant roots and intermediate nutrient solutions can be replaced by flowing or adding nutrients, water and oxygen through these media. Counseling of this programs received good responses from the community. This is proven by the high level of community participation.

Abstract

The theory of evolution explains that diversity of many life forms can exist as the result of genetic changes. The idea of evolution can be accepted by most scientist, however it is also rejected by other community because its contradiction with some religious values. The most controversial issue is that the theory of evolution tries to explain abouth the origin of human. It is difficult to deal with that controversy because it involves science, philosophy, and theology, in which each group view the theory from its own specialization without considering other aspects. Some moslem scientist try to accept or reject the theory of evolution by using al Qur’ran as their reason. Basically there is no controversy between al Qur’an and science although al Qur’an does not give detail explanation for all science or theories. The purpose of that explanation is to show the mighty of Allah SWT and encourage Moslem ummah to arrange more observation and research.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe strengths and weaknesses of SMK-SPP Samarinda towards the achievement of National Education Standards particularly management, facilities and infrastructure, financing standards and determine SMK-SPP Samarinda Strategy in compliance with national education standards, especially management standards, facilities and infrastructure, as well as financing. Results of the research demonstrated that the strengths of SMK SPP are as follows: sufficient field-study area; availability of main facilities and infrastructure; competitive study programs; ISO 9001-2008 certified; and A-accredited school. Meanwhile, the weaknesses of SMK SPP are: inadequate human resources, both in quantity and quality; education facilities and infrastructure are still not based on information and communication technology; financial dependent; inadequate workshop facilities for selling agricultural products. Strategies that need to be developed to achieve national education standard based on SWOT analysis in SMK SPP Samarinda are as follows: Institutional Strengthening, School of Management Improvement, Learning Quality Improvement, and School Relations with Stakeholders strengthening.

Abstract

It has been obtained a graph of the wave function of Coulombic's non-central potential Schrodinger equation Rosen Morse which is systematically an embodiment of hydrogen atoms and their isotopes. Schrodinger's equation is solved through variable spatial techniques with each variable resolved using a different method so that the radial and angular part wave functions are visualized by Matlab-based computer programming. Visualization of the radial wave function that is formed describes the probability value of the discovery of electrons which are small parts of an atom, while the visualization of the formed angular wave function shows the movement of electrons in an energy level. The mention of the atom itself is already in the Qur'an, Allah says in surah As-Saba verse 3. According to the interpretation of Quraish Shihab the word dzarrah in Arabic refers to a very small object, the size of an ant's child or fine dust. The phrase mitsqalu dzarrah in this verse means the weight of an atom. This implies the presence of a compound whose specific gravity is lighter than an atom.
