Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectually (SAVI) learning model on students’ learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Bintang. The research background was driven by the low level of students’ learning motivation, as indicated by limited active participation, minimal initiative to ask questions, and the low feedback indicators provided by teachers. The study employed a quasi-experimental design of the posttest-only control group, with two tenth-grade classes selected through simple random sampling. The experimental class received instruction using the SAVI model, which emphasizes multisensory engagement and interactive feedback, while the control class was taught through conventional methods. The research instrument consisted of a learning motivation questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, with data analyzed using prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity) and a t-test.The findings revealed that the implementation of the SAVI model had a significant effect on enhancing students’ motivation in learning PAI compared to conventional methods. Students in the experimental class demonstrated improvement in indicators such as perseverance, willingness to ask questions, and active participation, particularly in the aspect of feedback, which had previously been low. The novelty of this study lies in the application of the SAVI model in the context of PAI learning at the senior high school level, an area that has rarely been explored, thereby extending the existing literature by incorporating affective and religious dimensions.In terms of implications, this research contributes to the development of educational science by demonstrating that the multisensory SAVI approach is not only relevant for exact subjects but also effective in fostering students’ learning motivation and religious character. The findings provide valuable insights for teachers and schools in designing interactive, contextual learning and improving educational quality in the 21st-century learning era.

Abstract

The limited variety of learning media used in Islamic Religious Education often makes the learning process less engaging and impacts student learning motivation. This study aims to analyze the use of interactive learning media in improving student learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education at SMK 2 Mei Bandar Lampung. This study used a qualitative, descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, involving the principal, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and students as research informants. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the use of interactive learning media can improve student learning motivation, as indicated by increased attention, active participation, and enthusiasm in learning. These findings indicate that the use of interactive learning media has positive implications for the development of more innovative and effective Islamic Religious Education learning strategies.

Abstract

This literature study aims to analyze the contribution of teacher example and professionalism to the formation of student learning independence and morals. Using a qualitative library research approach, this study synthesizes concepts from various relevant theoretical sources. The findings indicate that teacher example contributes through identification and value internalization mechanisms, where students imitate the attitudes and behavior of teachers who are consistent between words and actions. Honest, patient, fair, responsible, and humble teachers become concrete models that shape student morals while inspiring learning independence. Teacher professionalism contributes through empowering learning planning, varied method selection, conducive classroom management, constructive feedback, and creating a learning community that respects moral values. Professional teachers design learning experiences that train student self-regulation, metacognition, and responsibility, while systematically integrating values. Both teacher qualities are complementary and mutually reinforcing. Example without professionalism produces sporadic impacts, while professionalism without example loses the spirit of education. The synergy between the two produces integrated education that shapes students who are independent in learning and noble in morals.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: 1) The policies implemented by schools in the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. 2) Various alternative PAI learning strategies applied by Islamic Education teachers. 3) The impact of various alternative Islamic education strategies during the Covid-19 pandemic. 4) The obstacles to the alternative variety of PAI learning strategies experienced by teachers and students. This research was conducted at SDIT Al-Munadi Medan. The research method used is a qualitative research method, with a descriptive study model. The results of the research show that the policies set at SDIT Al-Munadi Medan during the Covid-19 emergency period continue to carry out learning. There are 2 learning alternatives that are applied, namely offline and online. Offline learning is carried out at school 2 times a week for each student by paying attention to health protocols, and online learning is carried out online based on an internet network. Variety of Alternative Islamic Education Learning Strategies The teacher sends videos of Islamic Education learning materials, and occasionally learns Islamic Education online with video calls and google meet.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the basic concepts of education financing and education financing models. The research methodology used is the library research method with analytic descriptive data analysis techniques. The results show that an effective and efficient financing model that can be developed is the Power Equalizing model and the Foundation Plan model because the Power Equalizing model is imposed on very rich districts to pay part of the school taxes they collect back into the state's pocket. The factors that influence the financing of school education are influenced by: 1) rising prices; 2) relative changes in teacher salaries (teacher's sallaries); 3) changes in population and an increase in the percentage of children in public schools; 4) increasing educational standards; 5) increasing age of children leaving school; and 6) increasing demands for higher education (higher education).

Abstract

The presence and emergence of Islamic education in Indonesian soil is closely related to the entry of Islam on earth. The process of Islamization of society at that time was an integral part of the implementation of Islamic education. This paper is of a qualitative type, with a library research approach. Several early education institutions in Indonesia. First, pesantren may have originated from India (Hindu influence in Java), but the education system is certain to come from the Islamic tradition that originated in Arabic. There is an argument to support this hypothesis that Islam came to Java for the first time brought by Shaykh Malik Ibrahim or Maulana Maghribi (one of the songo guardians) and he had studied in the Kingdom of Pasai. Both Surau come from elements of the indigenous Malay culture and are related to the belief at that time as an Islamic educational institution. The three Dayahs are the oldest Islamic educational institutions in Aceh and even in the archipelago. Dayah was born, grew and developed along with the entry and development of Islam in Acehnese society.

Abstract

The existence of a study of some classical literature shows that there are many educational ideas, adab or academic ethics that have been studied by classical scholars so that they can be introduced and studied. The research method used in this article is to examine the existing literature related to the theme of the article. And as a result, Ibn Jama'ah details the keys to the success of an educator scholar. Regarding the concept of teacher/educator and its relation to teaching, Ibn Jama'ah detailed the Islamic etiquette that guides educators, including being consistent in drawing closer to Allah in every condition, maintaining knowledge as the Salaf scholars guarded knowledge, glorifying and glorifying it, strengthening self with the nature of zuhud towards the world, purifying his knowledge from actions making it a means of reaching the world, distancing his knowledge from the contempt of income, disgraceful character, and things that are makruh both in terms of good customs and syara'. Abstract

The problem in this study are the low learning motivation of students in the learning process using kahoot media, the lackof implementation of Islamic religious education learning using kahoot media and what is the effect of using kahoot media on student learning motivation. This study aims to determine the motivation to learn by usin kahoot media, to determine the implementation of Islamic religious education learning by using kahoot media and to determine the effect of using kahoot media on student’s learning motivation. This research was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 12 Binjai which is located at JL. K.H A. Dahlan No.4, Kartini, kec. Binjai City, Binjai City, North Sumatera 20713. The population in this study was all class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 12 Binjai, amounting to 34 people. With a total sampling research sampel, namely the entire population as a sampel. There is a difference in the average value between the class before using the media (48.73529) and the class after using the media (53.06897) it can be seen that the average value in the class before using the media (53.06897>48.73529). then from the t test result obtained from t count t table ie 21,332 > 2,036933. It can be concluded that there is an effect of using kahoot media on student’ learning motivations in Islamic religious education subject at SMP Muhammadiyah 12 Binjai.

Abstract

The "Freedom of Learning" policy was the idea of ​​the Minister of Education and Nadiem Makarim's culture in order to improve the national education system The concept of "Freedom of Learning" is an attempt to realize independence in thinking. Islamic Religious Education as a series of Islamic subjects is delivered both formally in schools or informally and non-formally at home and in the community with the material taught from elementary school to university levels must respond to this Free Learning policy well. Using library research methods, it is obtained the conclusion that Islamic Religious Education Learning version "Merdeka Belajar" is designed to train students to have the ability to think critically, have creativity, have the ability and communication skills and make students have cooperation and be able to collaborate so that later students can have more mature thinking , wiser, more careful so that students are able to understand, develop and apply the teachings Islam in everyday life.

Abstract

The presence of interesting learning media, of course, greatly affects the cognitive development of students, especially in audiovisual learning such as animated appearances filled with characters who can teach educational messages as well as morals and religion. Therefore, one of the learning media that can be used for elementary school students is by presenting PAI learning media by displaying Islamic cartoon-based learning that can be accessed in various applications via the internet and also videos that can be accessed via youtube . This study aims to develop students' insight, as well as identify the values of Islamic education contained in the children's Islamic cartoon series. This research is classified as a literature review research, which is based on accurate references and references, and is analyzed interactively. religious values based on Islamic teachings, and this also makes Islamic cartoons a reference for teachers to always develop learning media, because the science and knowledge in this cartoon series has represented a picture of their daily activities which are of course carried out in accordance with the teachings Islam.
