Abstract

Increasing mobility of human activities requires transportation modes to be more reliable. The technology offered by online transportation service providers is a new technology in the transportation service industry which can grow rapidly. The technology offered also changes the way consumers use transportation services. This phenomenon also has a major impact on the transportation industry and requires the government to immediately improve regulations on transportation services. Along with consumer behavior that is increasingly digital and more dependent on the internet for daily activities such as information retrieval, shopping, and business transactions, making business both local and foreign begin to present online application-based transportation. The purpose of this study is to analyze and determine the social challenges of transportation and the drivers’ growth in online application-based transportation in Indonesia and their influence on government policy. The population was all application users based on online transportation, and obtained as many as 240 respondents gave responses to the questionnaire. Data were collected by interviews, questionnaires and documentation studies, variables studied using a Likert scale. The questionnaire was first tested using validity and reliability testing, analyzed by SEM analysis. The results found in the hypothesis testing of this study are: simultaneously, the social challenges of transportation and the growth of online application-based transportation have a positive and significant influence on government policy. Partially, the online application-based transportation challenge variables in Indonesia have a significant influence on government policy variables, so that they have a positive and significant influence. Partially, the online application-based transportation growth variable has a significant influence on government policy variables, so it has a positive and significant influence. Based on the 11 Goodness of Fit (GOF) criteria models above, the research model has a fairly good model. This means that the measurement model obtained from the data is in accordance with the research hypothesis. This is because of the 11 criteria, there are 8 criteria that have been fulfilled.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between Employee Competence (Co) and Quality of Service (Ku) with Aviation Safety (Ks). This research was conducted at PT. Jasa Angkasa Semesta Tbk. Jakarta Export warehouse with n = 45 respondents decided to keep due to saturated samples. The method analysis was simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, simple correlation and partial correlation. The results of the research are as follows; (1) there is a positive correlation between employee competency (Ko) and flight safety (Ks), (2) there is a positive correlation between service quality (Ku) and flight safety (Ks), and (3) there is a positive correlation between employee competency and quality of service towards flight safety. Based on the results of the study, the flight safety can be improved by increasing employee competence and service quality.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to find out and analyze the direct and indirect effect of characters or personalities with organizational citizenship behavior. The subject of the research is the pool transportation employees of PT Pertamina (Persero) Jakarta 2017. The research method was using survey with correlational approach and sample taken using simple random sampling technique. There are 50 employees and sample taken was 44 employees. There is a positive relation, on the research result, between characters or personalities with organizational citizenship behavior in pool transportation of PT Pertamina (Persero) Jakarta 2017.

Abstract

The study was conducted at Badan SAR Nasional using quantitative method, with the number of samples taken based on Slovin formula as many as 40 people. The study used linear regression analysis, simple, partial or simultaneous correlation and path analysis. The results conclude that there is influence of Quality Relation Response Time Service, Facilities & Infrastructure Warehousing and Training Search And Rescue (Sar) to Work Effectiveness SAR Operations Mission  In Badan SAR Nasional.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to find out the effect of aircraft flying frequency to passengers’ movement in Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport from 2016 to 2017. The problem of the research is how the flying frequency of commercial aircraft in Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport effects the passengers’ movement in 2016-2017. The analysis techniques used in this study were simple linier regression, coefficient correlation, determinant coefficient and hypothesis test. The first result is Y = 140152 + 75,96X (from simple linier regression analysis) which means each changes from one variable X will be followed by Y changes of 75.96 times X in constant of 140152. The second result is 0.74 from coefficient correlation analysis which shows there is a strong and positive relation between commercial aircrafts’ flying frequency and passengers’ movement. The third result 55 % is from determinant coefficient analysis which shows the contribution of variable X (aircraft flying frequency) to variable Y (passengers’ movement) while the other 45 % is from other factors. The last result is 5.18 and 1,717 or > (5.18 > 1,717) from hypothesis test which means there is a significant relation between X and Y variables (Ho is rejected while Ha is accepted).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the suitability of loading and unloading performance in Marunda Port with existing regulation, human resource competence in using  the equipment as well as condition of port facility used to load and unload at Marunda Port. Using qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, data was collected through documentation study method and in-depth interview,  then analyzed. The result of the analysis shows that the conformity of loading and unloading performance in Marunda Port with the existing regulation is not optimal because of internal factors of TKBM and external factors of TKBM. While the competence of human resources in using  the equipment in Port Marunda is not suitable to produce smoothness, speed and safety performance of loading and unloading goods from and to the ship docked at Marunda Port. Other resultshows that Marunda Port facilities and infrastructures still require improvements in order to obtain smoothness, speed and safety in the loading and unloading of goods from and ship at Marunda Port.

Abstract

Along with the development of national and international flights, not many airlines are able to survive in competitive condition. Corporate communication is the top management division of PT. Sriwijaya Air tasked with carrying out planned and directed communication management functions both internally and externally. The purpose of the research is to identify and analyze the role and function of Sriwijaya Air corporate communication to survive in a tight flight services competitive situation. The method used was descriptive qualitative research. From the research result of corporate communication as a division that deals with all forms of communication, Sriwijaya Air has a considerable contribution to the process of forming corporate image in its internal communication task of communicating company policies from top management to the lowest so that communication is established in two directions. While external communication has the task of establishing communication with the media and work partners for promotional activities and new company policies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test and understand the effect of Investigator Accountability and Gender Empowerment on Performance of the Investigation Team. According to National Transportation Safety Committee, gender equality has become an important issue in development because socially it has differenciate roles, responsibilities, rights and functions as well as the activities of men and women in society. These differences ultimately make people tend to be discriminatory and picky about the treatment of access, participation, and control in the results of development of men and women including in the field of transportation and accident investigation. This research was using quantitative analysis methods with multiple regression analysis tools with a sample size of 40 respondents, calculated the relationship between the accountability of investigators along with gender empowerment on the performance of the investigation team. The results of the study: there is a positive relationship between Investigator Accountability and the Performance of the Investigation Team of the National Transportation Safety Committee as well as Gender Empowerment. And this also applies to the positive relationship between Investigator Accountability and Gender Empowerment together with the Performance of the National Transportation Safety Committee's Investigation Team. This research is not only useful to improve policy making in the field of human resource development in the National Transportation Safety Committee but also in other institutions that have the same scope.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to find out the effect of the first security inspection place monitoring to flight safety implementation in Husein Sastranegara International Airport.  The analysis techniques used in this study were simple linier regression, coefficient correlation, determinant coefficient and hypothesis test. The result shows that there is a balance effect between the first security inspection place monitoring and flight safety implementation based on simple linear regression analysis Y = 20,601 + 0,656X which means each changes from one variable X will be followed by Y changes of 0,656 times X in constant of 20,601. Based on coefficient correlation analysis, r= 0.735 is close to 1 that there is a strong and positive relation between the first security inspection place monitoring and flight safety implementation in Husein Sastranegara International Airport. Based on the determinant coefficient analysis, 54 % shows the contribution of variable X (first security inspection place) to variable Y (flight safety implementation) while the other 42 % is from other factors. The last result is t count > t table: 5,729 > 1,701 from hypothesis test which means there is a significant relation between X and Y variables (Ho is rejected while Ha is accepted).

Abstract

The research was conducted at PT Satyamitra Surya Perkasa (PT.SSP) in Jakarta. The purpose of the research is to find out the flow of imported goods procurement in PT. SSP in 2017. This is an action research where the researchers can describe, interpret, and define a situation by changing…The data used in this study was qualitative data. The data was taken by interviewing and doing library research. The scheduler with exact time work duration and high probability for success was resulted from the implementation of CPM PERT critical flow and bar chart scheduling. This study analyzes the data from the process of procuring imported goods from the initial project request to the fulfillment of the material procurement head office which will eventually be used for project needs. The critical trajectory analysis using the PERT and Network Diagram CPM methods can indicate that the procurement of imported goods that have been analyzed normally in the day is 65 days after the assessment is conducted both in terms of time and expenditure of company funds for goods demand, goods ordering, customs clearance, shipping loading and unloading document and trucking, the time can be shortened to 45 days, and has a major impact on the development needs of the 2017 Lontar PLTU project.
