Abstract

The SATUSEHAT platform which is Indonesia Health Services (IHS) is a form of digital transformation initiated by the Indonesian Ministry of Health. This platform integrates the health data of all Indonesian people including medical records across health facilities which will develop into a national health data center and has the opportunity to become big health data for the Government. To face this, the nursing field must prepare for various opportunities and challenges. Objective: To provide an overview of the opportunities and challenges of utilizing big data through the SATUSEHAT platform in the nursing field. The method used in this research is literature review. The keywords used were Big data in nursing and The Application of big data for the future. Literature searches were conducted using the online database method starting from 2015-2022 through ScienceDirect, ProQuest and Clinical Key.  As a result of the literature review with a case study design, it was found that opportunities for big data utilization include personalized care, nursing research development, data-based policy formulation, while challenges include increasing data processing and management competencies, integrating big data education curriculum, privacy and ethical issues and standardizing nursing terminology Recommendations It is hoped that further research can discuss the preparations that must be made to maximize the potential for big data utilization in the future.

Abstract

The increasing incidence of falls in the elderly has become a global health issue. The development of wearable electronic device technology is able to monitor daily activities, measure step counts, physical activity levels, and even sleep patterns of the elderly, while providing early warnings when changes occur that may increase the risk of falls. The aim is to see the effectiveness of using wearable electronic devices in preventing the risk of falls in the elderly in the community. PICO in this study is Population: Community-dwelling elderly, Intervention: wearable electronic device, Comparisons: none, and Outcome: fall prevention. Researchers used 3 search data sources, namely Embase, Pubmed, and Science Direct. The inclusion and exclusion criteria of this study are literature published in electronic data sources from 2018-2023, is a type of quantitative research, the elderly population in the community, English language and available in full text. This literature review includes ten articles that discuss the utilization of wearable electronic device technology, the types of wearable devices used include Inertial Measurement Units (IMU), biosensors, and accelerometers to evaluate the mobility, gait, and balance of the elderly. This literature review shows that wearable electronic device technology can effectively detect falls and motorize the incidence of falls in the elderly

Abstract

Medical records are the key to documenting services for health workers who carry out independent practice, good documentation greatly affects the fulfillment of administrative aspects, legal aspects for midwives and patients and provides convenience in maintaining the quality of care documentation to patients. Medical records are very important for health care facilities including Independent Midwife Practices. The function of medical records is to record all health services that have been provided to patients in order to support the improvement of service quality. this study is to implement integrated midwifery care documentation using medical records. The purpose of this study was to implement integrated midwifery care documentation using medical records. This research is an RnD (Research and Development) study with a case study approach. Researchers conducted a data collection process with FGDs. The research was conducted in April-September 2023 at PMB Ummu Hani Bantul Yogyakarta. The object is the recording form that has been implemented. The data validation process used source and technical triangulation. The physical aspect of each form is A4 in size with a weight of 70mg, the paper used for the medical record folder is F4, glossy with cream-colored paper type ivory 260gram. The content aspect includes the division of data items, grouping of data, sequent and how to fill in based on the woman's life cycle, namely grouping the contents for data on pregnant women, maternity, postpartum and children. Obstetric documentation has used integrated documentation from pregnancy to postpartum and child growth and development which has become one document using a medical record folder.

Abstract

Dementia is a disorder that results in a decline in memory and cognitive function, and can interfere with daily activities. There needs to be interventions that can help prevent dementia, and one effective intervention is memory games, that can be accessed through devices such as smartphones and computers with animations and sounds that help improve memory performance and can be used for early screening of dementia symptoms.  The purpose of  this literature review is to explore the benefits of brain training apps and computer – based cognitive training as nursing interventions to improve cognitive function and prevent dementia in elderly. Method : used in this literature review is systematic study by collecting and analyzing relevant literature related to the research topic. Keywords used are dementia, elderly, brian-memory game, memory game, app-based game, virtual reality, cognitive impairment. Academic journals were searched through online databases such as ClinicalKey Nursing, Google Scholar, Proquest, ScienceDirect, and EMBASE from 2015-2023. Results : this Literature Review show that brain training apss and computer based cognitive training can be effective nursing interventions to improve cognitive function and prevent dementia in the elderly. Several articles analyzed show that brain training apps and computer-based cognitive training can help improve cognitive function in the elderly, especially in terms of memory and attention. In addition, brain training apps and computer – based cognitive training can also help prevent dementia symptoms in the elderly and improve their quality of life by increasing their ability to perform daily activities. Conclusion : Nurses and healthcare professionals can utilize brain training apps and computer-based cognitive training as one way to improve the quality of life for the elderly. However, it is important to note that brain training apps and computer-based cognitive training should be tailored to the needs and characteristicts of the elderly to provide optimal benefits.

Abstract

Elderly people who experience sleep disturbances result in deterioration of disease conditions, fatigue, weakness, increased risk of falls, psychological disorders, and decreased quality of life. Poor sleep patterns trigger insomnia events such as difficulty maintaining sleep. The use of technology has been widely used in overcoming the problem of sleep disorders, one of the implementations used by the Voice of Insomnia application is an android-based application as a relaxation music therapy to overcome sleep disorders or insomnia and is expected to reduce the use of drugs as a stimulus by people with insomnia. The purpose of this literature review is to explore the benefits of implementing the Voice of insomnia application on the quality of elderly sleep. the method used in this literature review is a systematic study by collecting and analyzing relevant literature related to the research topic. Academic journals were searched through online databases such as science direct, Scopus, Google Scholar, Pubmed, Clinicalkey Nursing from 2015 to 2023. The results of literature review from several journals provide information on the benefits of using android-based technology, especially in people with insomnia as an alternative option to improve the quality of elderly sleep. Interventions using android-based technology can improve sleep quality and reduce the incidence of insomnia in the elderly. Voice of Insomnia application as an android application in the form of relaxation music therapy for people with sleep disorders or insomnia. Furthermore, the application of android-based technology can be used as a non-invasive mobile therapy media to help maintain sleep quality.

Abstract

Breath pattern disturbances can lead to significant sleep disturbances and negatively impact an individual's physical and mental well-being. One non-pharmacological approach that has emerged as an alternative in addressing sleep disturbances is Murotal Qur'an listening therapy. Murotal therapy is an effective nurse-directed intervention that does not require much cost and is easy to perform. The purpose of this case study is to determine the effectiveness of listening to Qur'anic murotal therapy on the quality of sleep of patients with breathing pattern disorders. The method used is to use a pre-post test design. Researchers took samples with purposive sampling technique as many as 5 respondents who experienced a decrease in sleep quality. The sleep quality instrument uses PSQI (Pittsburg Sleep Quality Sleep) which consists of 7 assessment components that have a score of 0-21. Before the intervention, there were 20% of respondents with very poor sleep quality and 80% of respondents with poor sleep quality. After the intervention, there was a change in 60% of respondents with good sleep quality and 40% of respondents with very good sleep quality. This shows that there is a significant difference before and after the Qur'an murotal therapy. This study concludes that Qur'anic murottal therapy is able to improve sleep quality so that this Qur'anic murottal therapy is effective for patients experiencing sleep disorders.

Abstract

The attention of mothers and health workers must be pain to breasfeeding process is carried coret correctly. Breastfeeding promotes a bond of love and affection between mother and newborn. Breast milk production can be increased by eating katuk leaves as they contain alkaloids and stereols that can increase the flow of breast milk. Katuk leaves also contain vitamins A, B1, C, tannins, alkaloid saponins. The aim of this study was to find out the effectiveness of eating katuk leaves in smoothing milk production in first-time lactating mothers. This type of research was quantitative and quasi-experimental designs using  Posttest With Control Group. The population of this study consisted of all primiparous nursing mothers of PMB Yosephine in Palembang, up to 30 people. The samples of the study were 15 respondents ate katuk leaves and 15 respondents did not eat katuk leaves. The analysis used was the paired sample t-test. The results of the study of the milk production of mothers who did not use katuk leaves were that 14 respondents had less milk production  (93.3%) and those who used katuk leaves had a lot of milk production (100%). the  paired sample t-test results showed  p = 0.000 where Ha was accepted, which means that katuk leaves are effective for consistent milk production in 2023 PMB yosephine Palembang City lactating mothers for the first time.

Abstract

Every pregnant woman will experience various changes that occur in the first trimester, second trimester and third trimester. One of the discomforts experienced by third trimester pregnant women is musculoskeletal changes that cause pain in the mother's back. Pain therapy can be done pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically. One of the non-pharmacological pain therapies is endorphin massage, which is a light touch or massage technique that can stimulate the body to release endorphin compounds which are pain relievers and can create a feeling of comfort. This study aims to determine the effect of endorphin massage on reducing back pain in third trimester pregnant women. This research method uses pre experiment with pre-test post test one group using the Wilcoxon test and sampling using the total population of 15 pregnant women. The research was conducted in April-May 2023. The results of the study obtained the average value of the pain scale before being given endorphin massage is 4.93, after being given endorphin massage down to 2.60. This shows there is a significant effectiveness of endorphin massage on reducing back pain in third trimester pregnant women. The results of the Wilcoxon sign rank test Z score = -3.529 and p = 0.000 where α = 0.05 then p <0.05 means there is an effect of endorphin massage on reducing the intensity of back pain in pregnant women Trimester III.

Abstract

Pregnancy is a physiological process that occurs in every woman in the reproductive phase. The growth and development of the fetus in the uterus can result in anatomical and physiological changes in pregnant women. The occurrence of back pain is caused by musculoskeletal changes. By providing massage therapy it is hoped that it can reduce the severity of back pain in third trimester pregnant women. This research used a pre-experimental design with a pretest-posttest with control group design. The sampling method used a purposive sampling technique, which took samples from third trimester pregnant women who experienced back pain in the Lubuk Bintialo Health Center Work Area. Data analysis used in this research was the T-test to determine the effect of effleurage massage on the level of the back pain scale. Based on research conducted, of the 18 respondents before receiving effleurage massage in the treatment group, the average maternal pain scale was 5.44, while in the control group it was 5.67. Meanwhile, after receiving effleurage massage, the treatment group experienced a significant decrease with a mean of 3.7 with a mean difference of 1.66 before being given effleurage massage. Meanwhile, in the control group, the average result was 5.56 with a mean difference of 0.11. The results of bivariate analysis using the T-test obtained sig results. 0.000 < 0.05 indicates that there is an influence of effleurage massage on the back pain scale level of pregnant women in the third trimester. Thus, the application of effleurage massage can be used as an alternative treatment to reduce back pain in third trimester pregnant women by doing it according to the procedure.

Abstract

The first day after delivery is when the breasts become overfilled with milk, causing them to become swollen, hard and painful. Breast care is an action to take care of the breasts to prevent the occurrence of breast milk dams, reduce pain and discomfort, prevent more serious complications, maintain breast milk production, prevent early termination of breastfeeding breast milk. The purpose of this case study is to provide nursing care to post partum mothers with the problem of ineffective breastfeeding with the application of Breast Care.  The research method used is a case study of 2 patients with post partum by applying the nursing process method: Interview, examination, observation of activities to obtain diagnostic records and reports. After taking nursing action for 3 days with a diagnosis: ineffectiveness of breastfeeding associated with breast swelling. with the application of breast care with the results resolved on day 4. breast discomfort has decreased after breast care, there is no dam or swelling in the mother's breast, there is no dam or swelling in the mother's breast, feeling more relieved and relaxed after breast care is performed. The application of breast care in both post partum patients can reduce breast swelling due to breast milk dams. Researchers suggest that patients can apply breast care as one of the treatments that can be done alone at home, because one of the benefits of breast care is to reduce breast swelling.
