Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the role of parents and the discipline of learning children in Watugong Village, East Alok District. This research was conducted in Kloangkoja Hamlet, Watugong Village. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques used, namely interview techniques with the number of respondents studied with 60 people. Based on the results of interviews conducted by researchers with parents in Kloangkoja Hamlet, it is said that parents have educated, protect, serving, giving attention, providing children's learning facilities, and parents as well as a place to take out hearts, recognize children's learning difficulties, guide and encourage motivating children in learning discipline. Therefore, it can be concluded that the role of parents in relationships with children's discipline in Kloangkoja Hamlet can be said to be good.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the perception of parents and children about learning online during Pandemi Covid-19 in East Alok District. This research was conducted in Nangameting Village. RT 002 and Waioti Village RT 038 Alok Timur District. This study uses data collection techniques, descriptive qualitative methods with interview techniques with 68 respondents. The results of the interview of parents and children reveal that online learning is felt ineffective, namely children bored, the performance of children is affected, children do not understand the task, and material is inadequate. For reasons such as given by the teacher, children play and children who are not focused. In addition, parents must also accompany children in online learning. This was also stated by children who felt online learning was ineffective because they felt difficulties in understanding the material and tasks given by their teachers during the online learning process. Cannot meet directly with the teacher, too many tasks, and lack of knowledge about how to use applications. Obstacles between parents and children in online learning, internet quota used by children to play, Android phones do not exist, children do not understand material and tasks, limited economy, expensive quota, limited parental education, unstable networks, and do not understand how to use application

Abstract

This study aims to find out 1) Application of government rules in the implementation of face to face learning, 2) Constrainst faced by schools in the application of government rules for implementing face to face learning, 3) Solutions in overcoming obstacles faced in SMA Negeri I Nita new normal period. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Nita. This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques used, namely, interview techniques, observations and documentation. Based on the results of interviews with school principals, teachers, students, staffing staff, security quards, and parents in the application of health protocol. 1) The application of health protocol rules is still not implemented properly in accordance with the rules issued by the government, 2) Constraints of students are less obedient during running health protocols such as using masks, maintaining limited learning and learning time, 3) Sulitions ladies and gentlemen, teachers must remid all svhool members  to continue to apkly health protocols during face to face learning in the new normal period

Abstract

The inventory of plants used in the traditional ceremony of the ethnic Krowe of Pogon Village. This study aims to find out about the types of plants, the function of plants and the meaning of plants used in the ethnic traditional ceremony of Krowe Pogon Village. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Determination of respondents using a random or random purposive method. The types of plants used in traditional ceremonies are done by describing the morphology of these plants. The results showed that the plants used in traditional ceremonies in Pogon plants Village consisted of 9 species grouped in 6 families namely Musaceae, Arecaceae, Piperaceae, Arecaceae, Moraceae, Moraceae, Apocynaceae, Poaceae, Graminea. These types of plants have their own functions and meanings in every traditional ceremony such as Mu’u / Pisang, and Wua / Pinang function as a sign to propose a girl,  Kabor / coconut for the cooling of the grave that has been, built, Huler / Aware cooling the two couples when returning from the church, Bao / Bayan or Rita / Pulai serves to hang the umbilical cord, Peli / Bamboo to close the body in the grave before being piled up on the ground and the Pare Weran / Rice to feed ancestral spirits. The meaning of plants used in traditional ceremonies is the purity of love and loyalty (traditional marriage ceremonies), cooling (death and marriage), as a protective tree and gives coolness to a baby (traditional ceremony of birth), calm (traditional ceremony of death)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of the Google Classroom application and its constraints in learning the Pandemic Covid-19 at SMAS Muhammadiyah Maumere. This research was conducted at SMAS Muhammadiyah Maumere in semester 2 of the 2021/2022 school year. The data source in this study was students and teachers in SMAS Muhammadiyah Maumere. The research method that the researcher uses is a descriptive method with data collection techniques, namely using interviews. Based on the results achieved in this study, it can be seen that, the use of the Google Classroom application in SMAS Muhammadiyah Maumere is the use of the Google Classroom application in learning the Pandemi Covid-19 is already running well, easy to use by teachers and students, the application can also used anywhere and easy to send material and tasks. Constraints faced in the use of the Google Classroom application in learning Pandemi Covid-19 are students who do not understand the material provided, it is difficult to get extensive knowledge, tasks given by teachers are difficult to download and their internet networks are limited. While the obstacle faced by the teacher is that many students do not collect timely assignments and the internet network is limited

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is Is there any effect of using the LAPS Heuristic model on the mathematical problem-solving ability of students in class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Medan on the subject of SPLDV. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the LAPS Heuristic model on the mathematical problem-solving ability of students in class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Medan on the subject of SPLDV. The instruments used in this study were tests and observations. The subjects in this study were class VIII- T2 which consisted of 30 students (as the experimental class) and class VIII-T3 which consisted of 30 students (as the control class). The object of this research is the ability to solve mathematical problems using the LAPS - Heuristic learning model. From the results of the study, it can be seen that using the LAPS – Heurtistic learning model has a positive effect on improving the mathematical abilities of eighth grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Medan T.P 2021/2022

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the time token learning model on the students' interest in learning mathematics at SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Medan in the 2022/2023 academic year. The population of this study were all students of SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Medan, totaling 142 students. While the samples used in this study were students of SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Medan class VIII-1, amounting to 34 students. This research uses quantitative research with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The data analysis technique used in this study is the normality test using the Kolmogorov Smirnov test and hypothesis testing using the t test. the tested data will be processed using the SPSS program.  The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of the time token learning model on students' interest in learning mathematics at SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Medan class VIII-1. This can be seen from the results of hypothesis testing using t-test with tcount > ttable at level =0.05, namely 9.595> 2.034. It can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Two Stay Two Stray type of cooperative learning model on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The research was carried out at MTs PAB 1 Helvetia with 32 students in class VIII-B as the experimental class. This research is a quantitative research with experimental method using one group pretest posttest design. Students are given a test to measure learning outcomes and an observation sheet to measure student activity. From the results of the study, the average pretest value was 49.6875 and the posttest average value was 8.0938. The results of the hypothesis test carried out show that the value of t_count is , with the value of t_table at a significant level of 0.05, which is 1.694, then t_count ( ) > t_table (1.694). The gain index value of 0.71678 is interpreted into the criteria for the value of g>0.7, the results indicate that the gain index is in the high category. The conclusion of this study explains that there is an effect of the Two Stay Two Stray type of cooperative learning model on students' mathematics learning outcomes where there is an increase in the average value of learning outcomes after being taught using the Two Stay Two Stray type of cooperative learning model, and student activities are quite active during the process. learning using the type of cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of guided discovery learning assisted by GeoGebra software on the understanding of mathematical concepts in the flat material of the Darul Muttaqin Kandangan students' private MTs. The population in this study were all students of class VIII MTs Swasta Darul Muttaqin Kandangan with a total of 90 students. While the sample used in this study was class VIII3 students of private MTs Darul Muttaqin cage with a total of 30 students. This research uses quantitative research and one-group pretest-posttest research design. The data analysis technique used in this research is the normality test using the Lilliefors test and hypothesis testing using the t test. Processing of data to be tested using Microsoft Excel program. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of the guided discovery learning model assisted by GeoGebra software on the understanding of mathematical concepts in the flat wake material of the Darul Muttaqin Kandangan students' private MTs. This can be seen from the calculation of the hypothesis test using the t test with tcount > ttable, namely 5.32 > 1.701 at a significant level = 0.05. So, it can be said that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

This development research was conducted to produce a product, determine the validity, and student responses to the teaching materials of the student worksheets that have been produced. This study developed a Mathematics Student Worksheet based on mathematical understanding abilities with a worked example approach on the material of a two-variable linear equation system that could be an alternative to minimize students' cognitive load and provide understanding to students. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII-2 SMP Swasta PAB 3 Saentis which consisted of 10 students, where the researchers chose respondents based on a small scale. The methodology used is research and development which was developed using the ADDIE development model consisting of five steps, namely: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation (implementation), and (5) evaluation. However, in this study, it was carried out until the development stage. The results of this study showed that the mathematical student worksheets based on mathematical understanding abilities with the worked example approach on the material of a two-variable linear equation system according to media expert validation were in the percentage of 80% with good validation categories. , or suitable for use without revision and material expert validation is in the percentage of 87% with a good validation category, or suitable for use without revision. As for the RPP, according to the validation of media experts and material experts, the percentage is 82.22% with a good category, or suitable for use without revision. And according to student responses, the percentage is 86% with very good criteria, it can be used in the learning process. So that with these data, this study can fulfill the assumption that students' worksheets based on mathematical understanding abilities with a worked example approach on the material of a two-variable linear equation system are feasible and effective in terms of cognitive content and student understanding in the learning process
