Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan eceng gondok dan sekam padi pada serbuk kayu sebagai media tanam jamur tiram. Percobaan disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari 1. Media serbuk kayu (P0) sebagai kontrol perlakuan, 2. Media campuran eceng gondok 50% + serbuk kayu 50% (P1), 3. Media campuran sekam padi 50% + serbuk kayu 50% (P2) dan 3. Media campuran eceng gondok 25% + sekam padi 25% + serbuk kayu 50% (P3). Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi batang, diameter batang, diameter tudung, dan jumlah tubuh buah jamur tiram per baglog. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis ragam dan apabila berpengaruh nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata terkecil (BNT) untuk membandingkan rata-rata perlakuan. Pemberian eceng gondok dan sekam padi pada media tanam serbuk kayu tidak berpengaruh terhadap semua pertumbuhan dan produksi jamur tiram putih (Pleuretus ostreatus), namun demikian dapat digunakan sebagai media tanam alternatif. Kata kunci : Pemanfaatan Gulma, eceng gondok, sekam padi, jamur tiram putih.

Abstract

Hydroponic greenhouses is a form of maintenance optimal plants with minimal water use. However, growing plants in this environment requires careful monitoring and control of various parameters such as pH and nutrient availability. In this study we used NFT Hydroponics (Nutrient Film Technique) a soilless plant cultivation technique that uses nutrient solutions flowing in shallow channels under plant roots. This method allows efficient and optimal plant growth with less use of water and nutrients compared to conventional cultivation. The pakcoy quality monitoring system in this hydroponic greenhouse is made using an Arduino Uno microcontroller equipped with a dfrobot pH sensor and a dfrobot tds sensor to monitor the quality of the bok choy plants automatically. We get the data by the tool will be processed using fuzzy logic to control the pH quality of the water and the nutrients of the bok choy plants to maximize the efficiency and production of the bok choy plants. The results showed that using this technology can monitor and control the water quality and environment for bok choy growth efficiently and accurately.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dosis Trichokompos Limbah Rumah Tangga dan NPK Phonska serta interaksi perlakuan Trichokompos Limbah Rumah Tangga dan NPK Phonska terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kakao (Theobroma cacao L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan Praktek Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Widya Gama Mahakam Samarinda. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai Mei 2022 sampai dengan Agustus 2022 . Penelitian mengunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan analisis 4x4 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah Trichokompos Limbah Rumah Tangga yang terdiri dari 4 taraf : T0 = tanpa pupuk/kontrol, T1 = 250 g/polybag, T2= 300 g/polybag, T3 = 350 g/polybag. Faktor kedua adalah NPK Phonska yang terdiri dari 4 taraf : N0 = tanpa perlakuan (kontrol), N1 = 5 g/polybag, N2 = 10 g/polybag, N3 = 15 g/polybag. Data yang diperoleh dianalisa dan diuji lanjut dengan uji BNT 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pemberian Trichokompos Limbah Rumah Tangga tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap diameter batang 30 HST sedangkan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun 30 HST, 60 HST dan 90 HST. Perlakuan terbaik adalah T1 250 g/polybag. Pemberian NPK Phonska dengan dosis yang berbeda tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun 30 HST dan tinggi tanaman 60 HST, diameter batang 60 HST, tinggi tanaman 90 HST sedangkan berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun 60 HST, 90 HST dan sangat berpengaruh nyata terhadap diameter batang 90 HST. Perlakuan terbaik adalah N2 10 g/polybag. Interaksi kedua perlakuan yaitu Trichokompos Limbah Rumah Tangga dan NPK Phonska tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter pengamatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk NPK Mutiara terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman tomat ceri, untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi air kelapa. terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman tomat ceri dan untuk mengetahui interaksi antar pupuk NPK Mutiara dan konsentrasi air kelapa. terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman tomat ceri. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Widyagama Mahakam Samarinda, Kota Samarinda. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai bulan Maret sampai dengan bulan Mei 2022. Penelitian ini mengunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok 4 x 4 dengan 3 kali ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah pupuk NPK Mutiara yang terdiri dari 4 taraf N0 = Kontrol, N1 = 5 g/tanaman, N2 = 10 g/tanaman, N3 = 15 g/tanaman. Faktor kedua yaitu perlakuan Konsentrasi Air Kelapa yang terdiri dari 4 taraf : K0 = Kontrol, K1 = 20 %/tanaman, K2 = 40 %/tanaman, K3 = 60 %/tanaman. Data yang diperoleh dianalisa dan diuji lanjut dengan uji BNT 5% Hasil penelitian menunjukan pemberian pupuk NPK Mutiara dengan dosis yang berbeda berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman 20 dan 60 HSP, jumlah buah, awal panen, dan berat buah dengan perlakuan terbaik N3. Pemberian Konsentrasi Air Kelapa dengan konsentrasi berbeda berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman 20 dan 60 HSP, jumlah buah, awal panen, dan berat buah dengan perlakuan terbaik K3. Interaksi kedua perlakuan berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman 60 HSP dengan perlakuan terbaik N3K3.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian dosis pupuk Urea dan dosis pupuk organik cair daun gamal serta interaksi kedua perlakuan terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kakao (Theobroma cacao L.). Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan, terhitung mulai dari bulan Mei sampai dengan bulan Agustus 2021. Tempat penelitian di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Widya Gama Mahakam Samarinda. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan percobaan faktorial 4 x 4 yang terdiri dari 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah Pupuk Urea (U) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu U0 (kontrol), U1 (3 g/polybag), U2 (6 g/polybag), U3 (9 g/polybag). Faktor kedua adalah POC Daun Gamal (G) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu G0 (kontrol), G1 (200 ml/polybag), G2 (250 ml/polybag), G3 (300 ml/polybag). Variabel pengamatan yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan diameter batang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dosis pupuk Urea dan POC daun gamal berpengaruh nyata pada interaksi U2G3 (6 g dan 300 ml/polybag) untuk parameter tinggi tanaman dan pada interaksi U3G3 (9 g dan 300 ml/polybag) memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata terhadap parameter jumlah daun dan diameter batang. Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk NPK Mutiara dan POC Nasa serta Interaksi kedua perlakuan tersebut terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi bawang merah (A. ascalonicum L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan dilahan terletak di Jl. Flamboyan, Kelurahan Loabuah, Kecamatan Sungai Kunjang, Kota Samarinda. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 4 bulan, mulai pada Maret hingga Juni 2022. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan percobaan faktorial 4x4 yang terdiri dari 3 ulangan. Faktor Pertama adalah NPK Mutiara (M) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu M0 (tanpa perlakuan), M1 (3 g/polybag), M2 (5 g/polybag), dan M3 (7 g/polybag). Faktor kedua adalah POC Nasa (N) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu N0 (tanpa perlakuan), N1 (8 mL/L air), N2 (16 mL/L air), dan N3 (24 mL/L air). Hasil penelitian pada perlakuan pupuk NPK Mutiara pada parameter tinggi tanaman 15 HSP, jumlah anakan, berat basah serta berat kering tidak berpengaruh nyata. Namun tinggi tanaman 45 HSP berpengaruh sangat nyata. Hasil penelitian pada perlakuan POC Nasa pada parameter tinggi tanaman 15 HSP 45 HSP, berat basah serta berat kering tidak berpengaruh nyata. Namun pada jumlah anakan berpengaruh nyata. Interaksi kedua perlakuan pupuk tersebut tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter. Pupuk NPK Mutiara dengan dosis 4,2 gr/polybag memberikan hasil terbaik pada pertumbuhan dan produksi bawang merah. POC Nasa dengan dosis 13 mL/L air memberikan hasil terbaik pada pertumbuhan dan produksi bawang merah. Kata Kunci : Bawang merah, NPK Mutiara, POC Nasa

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of different planting medium compositions and concentrations of coconut water on the growth of pepper cuttings. This research was carried out for 3 months, starting from January to April 2020. This research site is in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Widya Gama University, Mahakam Samarinda. This research method used a randomized block design with 3 x 4 factorial experiments consisting of 3 replications. The first factor is the planting medium (M) which consists of 3 levels, namely: M0 Control (4 kg), M1 Topsoil + Goat Manure (3: 1) and M2 Topsoil + Goat Manure Fertilizer + Husk Charcoal (2: 1: 1) The second factor is Coconut Water which consists of 4 levels, namely: K0 (control), K1 (150 ml / 500 ml water), K2 (250 ml / 500 ml water) K3 (350 ml / 500 ml water). The variables analyzed were the number of shoots, plant height, and root length. The results of this study indicate that the best planting medium is found in treatment M2 = Topsoil (2 Kg) + goat manure (1 kg) + rice husk (200 g) and the best concentration of coconut water is found in treatment K3 = (350 ml / 500 ml of water) has the best effect on the growth of the pepper (Piper nigrum L.) Abstract

ABSTRACT   Efforts can be made to increase the production of eggplant plants in addition to land expansion and proper cultivation techniques. One effort to increase crop production is by adding nutrients and optimal irrigation. So it is necessary to study the response of eggplant (Solanum melongena L) to abiotic stresses and organic fertilizers with the aim of knowing the response to abiotic stresses, organic fertilizers and the interactions between abiotic stresses and organic fertilizers. The research method used a randomized block design (RBD) with abiotic stress treatment (C) with 4 levels, namely: c0 ; control without any stress, c1; 25% drought stress, c2 ; 50% drought stress and c3 ; 75% drought stress and the use of organic fertilizer (O) with levels namely: o0 ; without organic fertilizer, o1 ; organic fertilizer 200 g/poly bag, o2 ; organic fertilizer 400 g/poly bag and o3 ; organic fertilizer 600 g/polybag. The results of the research on drought stress treatment had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height, stem diameter, fruit length, fruit weight and number of fruit plants, the best results were at level c1, but had no significant effect on the initial age of flowering. Organic fertilizer treatment had an effect on stem diameter at 45 and 60 hst at o3 level but had no significant effect on plant height, plant diameter at 15 and 30 hst, early flowering, fruit length, fruit weight and number of fruit planted. There was no interaction in each treatment   Keywords: food, climate. Sustainable ; 25% cekaman kekeringan, c2 ; 50% cekaman kekeringan dan c3 ; 75% cekaman kekeringan dan penggunaan pupuk organik (O) dengan taraf yaitu : o0 ; tanpa pupuk organik, o1 ; pupuk organik 200 g/polybag, o2 ; pupuk organik 400 g/polybag dan o3 ; pupuk organik 600 g/polybag. Hasil penelitian perlakuan cekaman kekeringan bepengaruh nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, panjang buah, berat buah pertanaman dan jumlah buah pertanaman hasil yang terbaik yaitu pada taraf c1 bernamun tidak berpengaruh nyata pada umur awal berbunga. Perlakuan pupuk organik berpengaruh pada diameter batang umur 45 hst dan 60 hst pada taraf o3 namun tidak berpengaruh nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman, diameter tanaman umur 15 hst dan 30 hst, umur awal berbunga, panjang buah, berat buah pertanaman dan jumlah buah pertanaman. Tidak terdapat interaksi pada masing-masing perlakuan   Kata kunci : pangan, iklim. berkelanjutan

Abstract

The plantation sector is one of the largest contributors to Indonesia's foreign exchange, this can be seen from the value of exports that have been contributed by the plantation sector. Cocoa (Theobroma cacao L) and pepper (Piper nigrum L) are plantation crops that contribute a lot to the country's foreign exchange. East Kalimantan is one of the areas that has a climate that supports the growth of cocoa and pepper plants, but their production is still very minimal. East Kalimantan has a large enough marginal land, marginal land is land that has environmental conditions that are less fertile or difficult to cultivate conventionally. The assembly of new varieties through tissue culture techniques makes it possible to produce many new plants in a short time, so that these new varieties can be used to increase cocoa and pepper production in East Kalimantan. This study aims to obtain the right combination of PGR and explant for the utilization of tissue culture on cocoa and pepper plants in assembling new varieties of cocoa and pepper plants in vitro. This research consists of two experiments. The first experiment was optimizing the explants and PGR combinations used for cocoa plants and the second experiment was optimizing the explants and PGR combinations used for pepper plants. The design used in this study was complete random design Factorial with 2 factors and 5 replications. The first factor used in this research is the source of the explants. For cocoa plants in the form of Staminoid (K1) and Petal (K2). As for pepper plants, namely leaves (L1) and shoots (L2). The second factor for each experiment was the combination of PGR in tissue culture media, namely solid WPM media with the addition 1 mg L-1 2,4D + 0,5 mg L-1 BAP + 30 g L-1 sucrose (W1) and Solid WPM with the addition of ZPT 1 mg L-1 NAA + 7 mg L-1 Kinetin + 30 g L-1 sucrose (W2). The use of WPM + 1 mg L-1 2,4D + 0,5 mg L-1 BAP (W1) media on both cocoa and pepper plants was able to induce callus. Whereas on WPM + 1 mg L-1 NAA + 7 mg L-1 Kinetin (W2) media it was able to form shoots. For the best source of explants used for the assembly process or propagation of cocoa and pepper plants, explants of cacao staminoid (K1) and pepper leaves (L1) can be used.

Abstract

East Kalimantan is one the center of Durio diversity in the world. The high diversity of durio species is a very important for breeding program to select and assembling new superior varieties. The study of the genetic/genomic status of Durio species especially the unindentified endemic plant like lai durian is very important. This study was conducted to find out an effective method for analyzing lai durian (Durio zibhethinus x kutejensis) chromosome as an effort to determine the genome status of the lai durian. This study was conducted at Laboratory of Biotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Mulawarman University from April to December 2020. Chromosome analysis used roots and shoots sample to observe chromosome profiles. The treatment of sampling time, time for pre-tretment, fixation, maceration and staining as well as the concentration of the respective solution treatment were applied to the samples. The cell, mitotic stages, and chomosomes profiles were observed under binocular microscope. This study showed in the method root-tips and shoot-tips are collected at 11.00 am, pretreated in 0.002 M 8-hydroyquinoline in refrigerator for 4 hours, fixed in ethanol:glacial acetic acid (v/v 3:1), macerated in 5 N hydrochloric acid at 65°C for 40 minutes, stained in 2% aceto-orcein for 1.5 hours and squashed in 2% aceto-orcein produced the best cell profile. Chromosomes profiles showing dividing cells can be observed in specimens taken from the root-tips and shoot-tips. Prophase, telophase, and cytokinesis stages can also be observed and are most commonly found in root and shoot tip specimens.
