Fahima: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Kajian Keislaman (E-ISSN: 2808-4349) adalah jurnal ilmiah berbasis peer-review yang diterbitkan oleh Program Pascasarjana Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama surakarta dengan terbitan pertama pada Januari 2022. Fahima diterbitkan secara berkala dua kali dalam satu tahun pada bulan Januari dan Juli. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk mempublikasikan dan menyebarluaskan tulisan-tulisan di bidang ilmu pendidikan dan Kajian Keislaman yang dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Fahima menerima tulisan dalam penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif dari akademisi, praktisi, peneliti, dan mahasiswa yang relevan dengan topik ilmu pendidikan Islam dan kajian keislaman. Fahima menerbitkan artikel penelitian yang bersifat komprehensif dengan mengundang ulasan dari para ahli terkemuka di bidangnya. Artikel yang masuk akan diseleksi berdasarkan kajian ilmiah yang tinggi, memberikan pengetahuan baru yang esensial, dan sangat menarik bagi masyarakat di bidang ilmu pendidikan dan kajian keislaman.

Abstract

Northeastern Nigeria faces a countless of environmental challenges, including desertification, deforestation, water scarcity, and the adverse effects of climate change. These issues not only threaten the region’s ecological balance but also jeopardize the livelihoods, health, and social stability of its communities. Amidst these challenges, religious moderation emerges as a pivotal factor in fostering sustainable environmental stewardship. This paper explores the intersection of religious moderation and environmental management, emphasizing the influential role of religious leaders and Islamic teachings in promoting eco-friendly practices. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, including qualitative interviews with community leaders and quantitative analysis of environmental indicators, the study identifies key mechanisms through which religious moderation contributes to mitigating environmental degradation. Findings reveal that religious leaders who advocate for balance, stewardship (Khilafah), and justice (Adl) significantly enhance community engagement in conservation efforts and the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices. Additionally, case studies highlight successful initiatives where religious institutions collaborated with governmental and non-governmental organizations to address water scarcity and reforestation. However, the research also identifies challenges such as poverty, limited educational resources, and the rise of extremism that hinder the full potential of religious moderation in environmental governance. The paper concludes by recommending a collaborative framework between religious bodies, government agencies, and local communities to amplify the impact of religious moderation on environmental sustainability. By integrating religious principles with environmental policies, Northeastern Nigeria can navigate its ecological challenges more effectively, ensuring a harmonious balance between development and conservation. This study contributes to the broader discourse on the role of religion in environmental sustainability and provides actionable insights for policymakers and religious leaders aiming to foster a resilient and sustainable future for the region.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology on Islamic educational institutions. This study uses descriptive qualitative with library research to find various reference sources related to the research object. In the form of books, journals and research results. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology blindly in Islamic educational institutions will cause dehumanization, meaning that the role and function of Islamic Education teachers are eroded, with the presence of Cyborgs and avatars (virtual sensations and engineering reality) there are no more teachers interacting physically but only with virtual and engineering reality, there are no physical teachers, students, and physical institutions.

Abstract

Moderasi beragama merupakan hal yang wajib diterapkan pada masyarakat Indonesia. Beragamnya suku, agama, budaya menjadikan Indonesia bersifat majemuk. Berangkat dari Sejarah bangsa Indonesia sikap intoleransi, konflik lintas agama dan suku menjadikan Indonesia sebagai masyarakat yang rawan terciptanya sikap intoleransi, oleh karena itu diperlukan upaya mempersatukan masyarakat dengan cara mewujudkan moderasi beragama melalui penyuluh agama Islam. Oleh karena itu penting melihat peran penyuluh agama islam dalam mewujudkan moderasi beraga, dan faktor pendukung dan penghambat mewujudkan moderasi berama, serta upaya yang dilakukan oleh penyuluh agama Islam dalam mewujudkan moderasi beragama. Metode peneltian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi dengan jumlah responden enam orang, teknik analisis data menggunakan enam tahapan Colaizzi. Dan validitas data dilakukan emlalui member check. Hasil temuan ada tiga poin yaitu; pola kegamaan masyarakat yang cenderiung pada pertahanan eksistensi budaya keagamaan, kedua literasi yang belum maksimal, dan temuan selanjutnya pengintegrasian nilai-nilai budaya dalam keyakinan masyarakat untuk mewujudkan moderasi beragama.

Abstract

This study explores the role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in enhancing digital competence as a critical element of educational transformation in the 21st century. Digital competence is examined through two main constructs such as Data Information and Knowledge (DIK), and Communication and Collaboration (CC). This research analyzes the impact of ICT on digital competencies, specifically DIK and CC, within the context of 21st century educational transformation. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing IBM SPSS Statistics 22 and AMOS software for optimal data analysis, including confirmatory factor analysis to accurately identify each variable. The study surveyed 100 respondents, comprising Doctoral and Master's program students from the Faculty of Education, through an online questionnaire. The findings indicate that (a) ICT has a significant positive effect on DIK and (b) ICT positively influences CC. The findings show that ICT use significantly affects the development of digital competence, underscoring the significance of incorporating technology into higher education courses to help learners who are prepared for the future. The implications for education highlight the crucial role of ICT in enhancing the quality of education. Continuous development of ICT is essential for improving the digital competencies of educators, which is vital for successfully navigating the educational transformation of the 21st century.

Abstract

Education is a learning process to develop students without force, but students can develop themselves if they feel free physically and mentally. The Independent Curriculum is a national education policy that emphasizes student-centered learning and character building. However, this curriculum is often understood merely as a response to the demands of the times, without being studied in depth from the perspective of the philosophical foundations of national education. On the other hand, Ki Hajar Dewantara’s thinking places character education, responsible freedom of learning, and education without coercion at the core of the educational process. This study aims to analyze the relevance of Ki Hajar Dewantara’s educational thinking to the Independent Curriculum in the framework of character education in higher education. This study used a literature review method with a conceptual-philosophical approach, with primary sources in the form of Ki Hajar Dewantara’s works and official documents of the Independent Curriculum, as well as secondary sources from relevant scientific literature. The results of the study showed that Ki Hajar Dewantara’s educational principles are strongly aligned with the direction and spirit of the Independent Curriculum. The Independent Curriculum can be understood as the actualization of Ki Hajar Dewantara’s educational values in contemporary educational policy.
