It is a distinct Filipino value that refers to the debt of goodwill and reciprocity acquired when one person assists another. The study used a purposive sampling technique to identify Filipino working millennials, ages 26-41 years old from Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, as informants. Data on the participants' perceptions and experiences of utang na loob were collected through semi-structured interviews. Through qualitative analysis, significant findings emerged within two central themes and various sub-themes. Through the analysis of recurring themes, it was found that utang na loob among millennials reflects their evolving values and adaptation to contemporary contexts. It goes beyond gratitude, emphasizing positive change and meaningful experiences. Millennials extend utang na loob to various relationships, including mentors, colleagues, and strangers. Recommendations include cultural education for millennials, supportive work environments, integrating utang na loob in educational institutions, fostering open communication within families, and conducting further research on the cultural, psychological, and technological aspects of utang na loob. Abstract

Stablecoins, as a form of innovation in the crypto asset ecosystem, have emerged as an attractive alternative in bridging the gap between fiat currencies and highly volatile crypto assets. In Indonesia, the presence of stablecoins has sparked debate about the need for strong regulations to mitigate risks and promote sustainable growth in the crypto asset industry. This journal outlines the urgency of stablecoin regulation on crypto assets in Indonesia. We analyze the possible implications of the presence of stablecoins without adequate regulation, including their potential impact on financial market stability, consumer protection, and national security. Additionally, we investigate regulatory approaches that the Indonesian government can take to create a conducive environment for the healthy growth of the crypto asset ecosystem while safeguarding the public interest. Through a multidisciplinary approach, we present arguments supporting the importance of developing a clear and sustainable regulatory framework for stablecoins in Indonesia. We also highlight the challenges and opportunities associated with these regulations and provide insight into how appropriate regulations can provide long-term benefits for the Indonesian economy. This research aims to provide a better understanding of the complexity of stablecoin regulation in the Indonesian context, while stimulating further discussion about the regulatory direction that should be taken in the face of rapid developments in the crypto asset industry

Abstract

The concept of social capital is widely associated with development, and the term 'development' is always synonymous with changing from an old situation to a new situation with the representation of new values and abandoning old values. This condition is reflected in almost all development that takes place in all corners of the village in Indonesia. The result of such development is physical material progress, but non-material regression such as local socio-cultural values. In this context, this paper is intended to illustrate the urgency of local social capital in rural community development. The social setting of this paper is Tapong Village in Maiwa District, Enrekang Regency, South Sulawesi Province. Tapong village has great socio-cultural potential and social capital that needs to be preserved through development programs, especially culture, so that it can become a local asset. This potential is in the form of the Appa Alliri Customary Institution, and various rituals. Both of these assets are local wisdom as well as socio-cultural assets that live on to this day
