Abstract

At this time the development of information systems is very rapid in various sectors. One of them is in the economic sector. Many information systems have sprung up in the economic sector, for example, the information system used by government agencies, namely the National Industrial Information System. The National Industrial Information System is an information system used by government staff to supervise data owned by each industrial company. This Information System has many features are home, industrial policies, e-reporting, helpdesk, and others. The application of an information system in an organization is inseparable from the user's perception of the information system. The Website Usability Evaluation (WEBUSE) method is an analytical method that allows users to assess the usability of the implemented web system. This method uses a questionnaire to obtain the required information. Therefore, this study uses the WEBUSE method in analyzing the National Industrial Information System to determine the value of the usability level of the system used. After doing the calculations, the results of the usability analysis of National Industrial Information System with the WEBUSE method get a point of 0.89 which includes an "Excellent" usability level. This usability level shows that the National Industrial Information System is following the wishes of its users.

Abstract

The study examines how a web-based innovative coaching system affects students' performance and interest in technical drawing in Niger, Nigeria. The hypotheses created in answer to the two study questions are evaluated using the A.05 significance threshold. The investigation was conducted utilizing a pre-post non-equivalent control group quasi-experimental study design. The study's participants comprised 428 National Technical College (NTC) II, students. The sample size for this study was 180 students, of whom 68 were in the experimental group, and 112 were in the control group. The experimental group employed Simple Random Sampling (SRS) and intentional sampling techniques. The instruments used to gather data are the Technical Drawing Achievement Test (TDAT) and the Technical Drawing Interest Inventory (TDII). The reliability coefficient for TDAT is 0.77, whereas the reliability coefficient for TDII is 0.79 using the Pearson Product Moment Correlation coefficient. The mean was used to answer research questions, and ANCOVA was used to evaluate the hypotheses. The study's findings demonstrated that web-based intelligent tutoring solutions are more successful in raising student achievement and piquing their interest in technical drawing than traditional teaching techniques. It was suggested that professors, particularly those teaching technical drawing, employ a web-based intelligent tutoring system for technical college students to enhance students' academic performance and pique their interest in technical drawing.

Abstract

The student department is a work unit that oversees, accommodates and handles various kinds of student activities, both academic and non-academic. The problem that is usually faced by the student department is the occurrence of a knowledge gap (k-gap) between old and new office holders. This problem is caused by the frequent rotation of positions in university departments, while this position rotation is not followed by holding knowledge sharing sessions between employees. The purpose of this research is to develop a web-based knowledge management system for student departments that can overcome the knowledge gap problem. The method used in this research is the Importance and Performance Analysis (IPA) and the Kano Model. The reason for choosing the IPA method is because IPA can be used to measure the value of respondents' mastery of research attributes and can also measure the importance value of an attribute based on the respondent's perception. The Kano model is used in this study because Kano can categorize the attributes of a product or service based on how well the product/service is able to satisfy customer needs. The result of this study is a student department knowledge management system which can reduce the value of the knowledge gap by 1.63 points.

Abstract

Indonesian Railways Limited Liability Company Property Management or KAI Property Management Limited Liability Company Medan is one of the subsidiaries of  KAI Limited Liability Company which was established in 2009 with core businesses in the fields of construction, property, trade and maintenance of railway infrastructure and its supporting facilities. In the process of importing employee data at KAI Property Management Limited Liability Company Medan still uses manuals, so to make it easier to collect data, it makes an employee information system that is easy to use and quite safe. This study used waterfall, uml, and blackbox methods. The waterfall method consists of analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment, and uml used usecase diagrams, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams. The results of this study are in the form of an information system design that uses codular as an android application maker that can help in terms of processing office employee data.

Abstract

Forecasting is the art and science of predicting future events. This can be done by involving taking past data and placing it into the future with a form of mathematical model. The application of the Triple Exponential Smoothing Method is very appropriate to solve the above problems because the Triple Exponential Smoothing Method is used in short-term forecasting, usually only 1 month ahead. The Triple Exponential Smoothing method assumes that the data fluctuates around a fixed mean value, without an even trend or growth pattern. the author conducted research related to the calculation of the development of laptop purchases at CV.Gaharu.Com problems often occur, especially the problem of calculating laptop sales predictions such as the absence of a special system in calculating laptop sales in the coming period so that the company's stock often runs low and is not proportional to consumer demand which is growing rapidly and increasing, as well as in making laptop sales reports are still processed with a fairly simple application so that the reports obtained are less accurate. The research method used by the author is using the R&D (Research and Development) research method. The method of data collection was carried out in this study, namely by means of observation, interviews, and literature study. The steps taken are database design and describe the workflow of the application to be built using UML. At this stage the author designs the interface to produce an interface that is in accordance with the functions required for the application to be built. The system development method used by the researcher is the waterfall.

Abstract

PT. Wira Dwika is a company engaged in the production of electronic equipment and product distribution is carried out after the production process takes place. The obstacle that is often faced by companies is the difficulty in determining the number of products that will be provided by the company so that errors often occur in fulfilling customer requests and in predicting supplies for the next period. The system that runs at the company still uses a manual system so that errors often occur in determining the number of products to be distributed, and the Inventory section also often has difficulty determining the stock to be provided in future periods and the demand is more than the number of products already available in production. So it greatly affects profit and loss as well as inventory data processing. So the researchers used the Triple Exponential Smoothing Method to overcome the obstacles faced by the company because the Triple Exponential Smoothing method is an effective method in terms of forecasting. Electronic equipment still uses workbook paper and is less efficient in making product inventory reports. The electronic equipment inventory report input system still uses Microsoft Excel 2007 so that the data obtained is inaccurate and does not yet use electronic equipment inventory storage with a database system, by implementing PHP applications and MySQL databases it can help companies calculate predictions of electronic equipment distribution in the next period. So that it greatly affects profit and loss as well as processing inventory data for electronic equipment still using paper workbooks and is less efficient in making product inventory reports.

Abstract

Information technology can be utilized in the world of education as a means of conveying information about the profile of an institution, as a means of facilitating the running of government, and as a means of supporting other academics. UIN North Sumatra, especially the Faculty of Science and Technology, does not yet have information technology that can store student thesis data, where the application can be used as a search tool for theses that have been published within the Faculty of Science and Technology. By storing thesis manuscripts electronically, it will also make it easier to track the track record of each student and lecturer in preparing the thesis. Through the electronic thesis data storage application, the lecturers and thesis students can find out what titles have been published so that they can be used as indicators of what science is currently developing in the Faculty of Science and Technology. Based on the thesis data stored in an application, later this data can also be used for accreditation or academic purposes. Making this system researchers use the Vue.js Framework which is a flexible framework, Vue.js can be integrated with other frameworks or libraries such as Django, Laravel and WordPress. By implementing the Vue.js framework in website-based application development, the website can be embedded with one-page application features so that it will be easier to use the application.

Abstract

Information technology has become a very common thing in today's society, therefore with the existence of fast and easy information technology it is expected to be able to process the desired information. At this time the existence of information systems presents a new innovation. The rapid development of information technology has penetrated into various sectors including offices. In the digital era, people are increasingly aware that communication technology is an important tool in dealing with the increasingly rapid flow of information. Information has developed and arrived in the digital era, one of which is information processing which has developed from conventional to digitally managed. As a memory center for organizations or agencies, letters are something important and need to be stored properly. But storage is still done conventionally, it will be difficult when you want to do a search. This study aims to design a mail archive information system using qualitative methods as a research method, UML as a system design that will facilitate the flow of research in designing systems and using a waterfall as a system development method. The results of this study are in the form of a design for a mail archive information system which is expected to be able to solve this problem.

Abstract

Many entrepreneurs provide electronic services, especially on cellphones and PCs, but their marketing is very limited due to the location of the store and banners that are not strategic so it is difficult to know where the service is located, on the other hand customers are also difficult to know the estimated cost of repairing electronic devices and often potential customers I was disappointed when I arrived at the location but the service was closed. With these problems, the author built an Android-based Go Service Electronic application by utilizing React Native Framework technology to build Android-based applications and using the Firebase Realtime Database as data storage. The application is also equipped with consulting features, a booking system, calculating the estimated cost of equipment repair services, as well as providing information on the best service services through an assessment system that has been provided by customers who have booked previous services. With the Go Service Electronic application, it is easier for the public to find out where the location of service providers is, find out the estimated repair costs, and can consult directly through the application, as well as being able to increase business opportunities for electronic service providers.

Abstract

Improving customer service really needs to be done by a company. one form of service improvement is to provide convenience to customers to submit financing applications that can be done anytime and anywhere. Knowledge management systems (KMSs) are tools aimed at supporting knowledge management. Utilization of Knowledge Management System (KMS) has a positive impact on the continuity of the organization's business, this happens because KMS is an effective way to translate work experience on an ongoing basis in the form of knowledge. The tiwana framework was chosen for the reason that tiwana has advantages compared to other methods for designing KM. The problem faced by cooperatives is that in submitting financing activities it is still manual, namely customers have to come to the Al Salaam sharia cooperative, this is very inconvenient for customers who want to apply for financing and the absence of a container that accommodates all information related to financing products, the type of marketing media used by Al-Saalam is brochures. The purpose of this research is to develop a knowledge management system to improve customer service with the main focus being to provide loan application features. The method used in this study is the Tiwana framework. The results of the research is a prototype of knowledge management system that can be accessed anytime and anywhere by customers.
