AT TAWASUL: Jurnal Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi Institut Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor. Jurnal At Tawasul menyediakan tulisan bagi para praktisi dan akademisi untuk mengembangkan teori, penelitian empiris, dan memperkenalkan konsep-konsep baru di bidang komunikasi penyiaran Islam dan dakwah dalam perspektif yang luas. Jurnal ini membahas isu-isu aktual dalam studi komunikasi Islam, termasuk perkembangan dakwah kontemporer dengan memanfaatkan media, sistem informasi Islam, retorika, literatur, dan kebijakan pemerintah tentang penyiaran dan regulasi informasi. Tujuan dari jurnal ini adalah untuk mempromosikan berbagi pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang isu-isu komunikasi penyiaran Islam. Kemudian menerima donasi dari para ahli, peneliti, praktisi dan pembuat kebijakan di seluruh dunia. Jurnal ini terbit secara berkala dua kali dalam satu tahun, yaitu pada bulan Agustus dan Februari.

Abstract

This study examines the public communication strategy established by the Ogan Komering Ulu Regency Communication and Information Service to build effective relationships with the community. Using a qualitative research paradigm, this study applies purposive sampling to select key informants including employees directly involved in the public communication strategy. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, document studies, and direct observation of communication activities. At the data analysis stage, it refers to the two-way symmetrical theory according to James Grunig which states two-way communication. The findings show that adjusting communication strategies to local cultural factors significantly increases message acceptance among the community. This study emphasizes the importance of openness and accessibility of information in building public trust and participation in government. Finally, this study highlights the need to improve digital literacy among the community to bridge the information gap between the government and the public.

Abstract

Religion ideally teaches noble and noble values, but in the current era of media convergence, religion that was once sacred and had a special place for its adherents has now shifted to become a lucrative business for religious capitalists, coupled with the rapid advancement of technology that has resulted in media convergence that has given birth to new media that has succeeded in changing the paradigm of society in viewing religion, religion is no longer a taboo that is only limited to people who have a certain capacity who have the right to convey religious messages and modify them. Now anyone can do it regardless of the underlying motivation, religion has now lost its original form. That is the need for synergy in the development between religion and media so that they complement each other for noble and noble goals.

Abstract

The As one of the favorite social media applications in the modern era, it has a history that has skyrocketed in the use of everyday society. Currently, with the intelligence of society, information technology and changes in religious practices provide deeper insight into how modern society, especially Muslims, adapt to technological developments in carrying out their worship. This study collects data from websites that discuss the digital religious application industry and its impact with a concentration on the Youtube application. The use of Youtube social media in the contemporary era has a significant impact on the spread of Islam, religious understanding, social improvement. Global Reach: YouTube allows da'wah content to be accessed by people around the world without being limited by space and time.

Abstract

This study aims to explain that the Government through BPJPH MUI has initiated an idea in the form of innovation in implementing halal certificates for all consumer products and uses, especially cosmetics. This innovation is one of the government's ways to maintain the safety of a product so that it is guaranteed halal and free from harmful substances. The purpose of this study is to see how the diffusion of halal certificate innovation in society. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. In this study, the researcher used the Diffusion of Innovation Theory by Everett M. Rogers and Floyd Shoemaker by analyzing 4 main indicators, namely innovation; time period; members of the social system and communication channels. The results of this study, the application of halal cosmetic product branding using this theory as a whole has met the diffusion indicators. In addition, the stages offered by this diffusion theory also help in branding halal cosmetics on social media, namely the stages of knowledge, persuasion, decision, implementation and conformation.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of technological media in digital da'wah, focusing on digital presentations and internet platforms as innovative communication tools. The method employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to analyze relevant indexed literature, with inclusion criteria comprising articles and publications on digital da'wah published within the last five years. Exclusion criteria include studies that are irrelevant or inaccessible in full text. The results indicate that digital presentation applications such as Canva and Prezi enhance the appeal and effectiveness of da'wah messages through engaging and structured visual elements. Furthermore, the internet as a da'wah platform offers extensive opportunities to reach a global audience, despite challenges such as hoaxes and negative comments. Compared to traditional methods, digital media enables more responsive interaction and systematic message dissemination. This study highlights the importance of digital literacy for da'i in optimizing the use of technological media in da'wah. The practical implication of this research is the need to develop relevant digital strategies to enhance the effectiveness of da'wah in the digital era.

Abstract

Elections are always an interesting issue for all levels of society, especially regarding the political strategies of each candidate aiming for leadership positions. The purpose of this study is to understand and explain the political strategies employed by Asep Wahyuwijaya to secure a seat in the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR-RI) in the 2024 General Election. The research method used is qualitative, with purposive sampling focusing on selected informants who are rich in cases for an in-depth study. The findings of this study show that the winning strategy used includes offensive, defensive strategies, and Peter Schroder’s strategies of Cooperate, Pavlov, and Mistrust. In the offensive strategy, Asep Wahyuwijaya employs various approaches, including forming volunteer teams, switching political parties, political collaboration, placing billboards, and maximizing mass media and social media. The conclusion is that Asep Wahyuwijaya's political strategy in the 2024 legislative election combines both offensive and defensive approaches effectively to increase his chances of victory. Through forming volunteer teams, switching parties, and collaborating with other candidates, Asep Wahyuwijaya is able to tackle challenges such as money politics and skepticism about political loyalty. His political education approach and transparent communication successfully reduce dependence on money politics and contribute to creating a healthier and more integral political climate in Bogor Regency

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the regulations and implications of polygamy for Civil Servants (PNS) in Indonesia. The methodology employed is library research with a qualitative and descriptive approach, collecting data from primary and secondary sources to identify patterns and significant information. The findings indicate that although polygamy is permitted under Law No. 1 of 1974, its implementation for PNS is strictly regulated through Government Regulation No. 45 of 1990, which protects the rights of wives and prevents abuse. The conclusion of this research emphasizes that while the Quran permits polygamy, Indonesian positive law places greater emphasis on the principle of monogamy, with the authority to grant polygamy permits resting entirely with the judges of the Religious Court.

Abstract

Today's Persis preachers seem to be experiencing a "new trend" in their preaching activities, namely gaining as much sympathy as possible from the community. This is very different from the style of previous Persis preachers. They prioritize deep religious understanding. The development of the preacher education curriculum at the Branch level has not been well organized so that it is not yet adaptive to the problems of members and modern society, as well as the mentoring of preachers in training teaching and preaching methods is less innovative and creative. Likewise, the challenges of modern technology are still felt to be less than optimal. The preachers have not optimally utilized the digitalization of preaching, as evidenced by the fact that out of 80 preachers, only 3 people are active in preaching content. This study aims to analyze the evaluation of the development and mentoring of Persis preacher education at PC Persis Cipayung and PC Persis Matraman. This study uses a qualitative research method with an approach using case studies. The subjects of this study are. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data validity checking technique uses data triangulation techniques. Primary data sources were obtained directly by researchers from research objects in the field from the results of processing data from interviews with preachers, natural observations, and documents on Persis preaching education. While secondary data sources were obtained in the form of books, articles, journals, dissertation theses, and other documents. The results of this thesis research show. First, Educational Development requires curriculum updates that are more adaptive to technological developments and socio-cultural changes, as well as strengthening teacher capacity through ongoing training. Second, Preaching Assistance must be further improved through an innovative approach, to reach a wider audience, especially the younger generation who are more connected to the digital world. Third, the Evaluation of Development and Assistance in Education and Preaching shows the importance of updates in educational and preaching methods to strengthen Persis' influence in a society that continues to develop.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mengubah wajah komunikasi dakwah secara signifikan. Media sosial kini menjadi medium utama dalam menyampaikan pesan keagamaan yang lebih cepat, luas, dan interaktif. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi komunikasi dakwah di media sosial dengan pendekatan interaktif dan partisipatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka terhadap literatur keislaman, komunikasi digital, dan fenomena sosial media kontemporer. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa strategi dakwah yang mengedepankan dialog dua arah, kreativitas konten, serta keterlibatan audiens dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pesan dakwah di ruang virtual. Pendekatan partisipatif juga memungkinkan jamaah berperan aktif dalam penyebaran nilai-nilai Islam. Oleh karena itu, dakwah digital menuntut da’i tidak hanya memahami ilmu agama, tetapi juga memiliki literasi media yang kuat serta etika komunikasi Islami
