Abstract

Information technology and adult telecommunications are so fast that patterns of life and interhuman communication are affected, which information technology is know as the internet. Mobile Banking includes a service provided by banks to their clients to facilitate their transactions. You don’t have to come to the bank, because it’s a lot of good news. Wherever they can still act so they don’t interfere with the schedule. This study aims to determine the effect of Mobile Banking service quality on customer satisfaction at Bank Syariah Indonesia (Case Study on Employees of Al- Fityan Boarding School Bogor). The method used is a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods (Mix Methods) with a Sequential Explanatory model. The data source for this research is Al-Fityan Boarding School Bogor employees who use the Mobile Banking application. By using data collection techniques through interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used in this research are data quality tests, namely validity and reliability tests, classic assumption tests, namely normality tests and linearity tests, hypothesis testing, namely simple regression tests, correlation tests, coefficient of determination tests and t tests. After going through the quantitative procedures followed by qualitative procedures.This study obtained the results that the Quality of Mobile Banking Services had an effect on Customer Satisfaction as evidenced by the correlation test which obtained the results between the X and Y variables which were 0.686 > 0.05, so Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. Which means that service quality has a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Then based on the tests that have been carried out with the coefficient of determination is 0.471 or around 47.1% This means that the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable is 47.1% Meanwhile , the remaining 52.9% is explained by other variables not examined in this study.Based on the results of this study, the independent variable (Service Quality) has a significant effect on the dependent variable (Customer Satisfaction).

Abstract

An individual's contribution to society plays an important role in the individual's personal development and encourages social development in a wider scope. Efforts to develop the community environment can be carried out through individual participation in the community and community activities. Through participation in community activities, individuals can expand their social relations and contribute to community empowerment and solving problems in the surrounding environment. This research uses the fifth wave of IFLS data surveyed in 2014 to find out what factors influence individual participation in community activities. With a total number of observations of 28,259 samples, the marginal effect estimation results show that individuals who are male, married, have a job, and have a high sense of individual acceptance in their social environment have a significant positive effect on participation in community activities. However, the urban environment has a significant negative effect on individual participation in community activities.

Abstract

Instagram is currently one of the media most frequently used by students at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Communication Sciences, North Sumatra State Islamic University to search for information. This research aims to find out how much influence the use of the Instagram account @ussfeeds has on fulfilling the information needs of followers among students at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Communication, North Sumatra State Islamic University. The theory used in this research is the Uses and Gratifications theory, new media and fulfilling information needs. This research uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of distributing questionnaires or questionnaires which are measured using a Likert scale, then processed and then concluded. This research used purposive sampling, with the Slovin formula with an error rate of 10%, and the total sample in this research was 78 respondents. The analysis method is in the form of validity testing, reliability testing, and hypothesis testing using the Spearman's Rho Rank-Order Correlation formula via SPSS version 29 and using the Guilford scale or correlation coefficient. The results of this research show that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, indicated by a significant value = <0.001, which means a significant number <0.05, which means there is a significant relationship between variable x and variable y. This means that there is an influence between the use of the @ussfeeds Instagram account on fulfilling the information needs of followers among students at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Communication Sciences, North Sumatra State Islamic University.On the Guilford scale the result (rho) = 0.666 means this valueis on a scale (0.41 – 0.70), then this shows that there is a significant relationship between variable x and variable y. The value of the coefficient of determination (r2) obtained a figure of 0.666, which meansshows that variable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in the results of room rental calculations using traditional methods and activity-based costing. This study uses a qualitative method with a comparative study, the type and source of data used is primary data and secondary data which is cost data for 2021. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in the results of calculations using the traditional method and the activity-based costing method, where the results calculations using activity-based costing are cheaper than the results of calculations using traditional methods.

Abstract

The increasingly widespread use of Tiktok social media in adolescents in Indonesia will certainly greatly affect one of the stages of adolescent development, namely self-confidence. Having self-confidence is very important because a teenager will be able to assess himself and do a job effectively in his life. This study aims to determine the influence of pleasure perception, benefit perception, and ease of use perception on the intention to use the tiktok application This study used a quantitative approach with data collection methods through online questionnaires and was determined using non-probability purposive sampling methods. The data was obtained by distributing online questionnaires to 100 STIS Al Wafa students who used the Tiktok application. The results of this study will later show how much influence advertisements and influencers on the Tiktok application have on the buying interest of people who use the application. however, the perception of pleasure of Tiktok content has a positive and significant effect on the perception of benefits, perception of ease of use and intention to use the Tiktok application. The results of these findings can be used as a reference for future research. The main theory in this study uses the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) which is used to explain the relationship between perception of pleasure, perception of benefits, perception of ease of use and intention to use. A limitation of this study is the intention variable to use the Tiktok application which shows that the R-Square score is 0.488 or 48.8% so that the variable is still not explained well and adequately by the antecedent variable. This study contributes to the literature on the topic of social media use by considering the variables of pleasure perception, benefit perception and ease in influencing the intention to use Tiktok.`

Abstract

Economic activities cannot be separated from people's lives. However, in meeting the needs mof the community, it is not permissible to do something that can harm others. This paper aims to examine Muhammad Nejatullah Siddiqi's thoughts on Islamic economics. The approach used in this paper is qualitative. Data were collected from library data, both from primary and secondary sources. Furthermore, the data were analyzed and examined from general data, then specific conclusions were drawn using inductive, deductive, and descriptive data analysis techniques. The results of the study show that Siddiqi as an economist with a mainstream school of the thought expressed his view that fulfilling the needs of Muslims must be guided by Islamic law. One's success is closely related to moral values that are implemented using the paradigm of the Qur'an.

Abstract

This thesis is a discussion that aims to find out. 1. How to implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in accordance with sharia at the Red Doorz Syariah Medan Teladan Hotel. 2. What is the quality of sharia service for guests at the Red Doorz Syariah Medan Teladan Hotel. 3. How is management implemented at the Red Doorz Syariah Medan Teladan Hotel. The research instruments used were observation guidelines and interviews. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of the research can be summarized as follows: 1. Implementation of SOPs in accordance with sharia at the Reddorz Teladan Syariah Hotel in Medan where sharia principles need to be considered in every product offered to hotel guests which must be useful and in accordance with Islamic rules, the application of standard operational procedures is in accordance with the reference from DSN-MUI. 2. Quality of sharia service for guests at the RedDoorz Syariah Hotel Medan Teladan Hotel Reddorz Syariah Teladan Medan in terms of service, by implementing the 3 elements (front office, housekeeping, food and drink, restaurant), the hotel management assumes that it has implemented basic services that every visitor needs for sharia hotel accommodation. 3. Implementation of Exemplary RedDoorz Syariah Medan Hotel Business Management, where the RedDoorz Syariah Medan Hotel management system has been implemented in accordance with Islamic sharia, namely having and using a halal guarantee system, Reddoorz Syariah Hotel Medan has implemented sharia principles in accordance with DSN-MUI guidelines, including: screening of guests who come, does not provide alcohol or alcohol, the products provided by the hotel are halal products, does not provide an entertainment area, has a prayer room and place for ablution, has provided worship equipment in each room, which means this hotel has implemented sharia principles. However, the implementation of the Reddorz Syariah Hotel Teladan Medan still has many shortcomings, where the Reddorz Syariah Hotel Teladan Medan does not collaborate with sharia financial institutions, does not have a certificate from the MUI institution, there is no sharia supervisory board that guarantees that the products provided by the Hotel Reddorz Syariah Teladan Medan guaranteed halal.

Abstract

In the era of technological advancement, Islamic banking has adapted by introducing technology-based services, particularly through mobile banking. Bank Sumut Syariah, as an Islamic financial institution, also offers mobile banking services to enhance customer access and convenience in transactions. However, the importance of aligning mobile banking products with Sharia principles is a primary concern, given the foundation of Islamic banking on principles of justice, sustainability, and adherence to Islamic teachings. This research aims to identify and evaluate the profit-sharing mechanisms within Bank Sumut Syariah's mobile banking and analyze its impact on business sustainability and customer satisfaction. The research was conducted at Bank Sumut Syariah's Branch Office in Marelan Raya on November 1, 2023, utilizing a descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection methods involved observing Sumut Mobile products at Bank Sumut, particularly at Bank Sumut Syariah's Branch Office in Marelan Raya, and conducting interviews with a supervisor at the branch office. The findings revealed that Bank Sumut Syariah remains part of the conventional Bank Sumut, hence its Sumut Mobile product still operates within a conventional system. Currently, there is no separate Sharia-compliant product within Bank Sumut Syariah's mobile banking as it remains integrated with the conventional system. Nonetheless, it's crucial to ensure that every feature and transaction within Bank Sumut Syariah's mobile banking aligns with Sharia principles, encompassing cost structures, profit-sharing mechanisms, and other provisions to avoid conflicting with Sharia values. Business sustainability and customer satisfaction are key considerations in developing Sharia-compliant mobile banking products. Further studies on implementing Sharia products within Bank Sumut Syariah's mobile banking are essential to offer alternatives that align with Sharia values for customers. This research emphasizes the necessity of implementing Sharia-compliant mobile banking products to meet the demands of justice, sustainability, and compliance with Islamic teachings in modern Islamic banking activities.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the weekly Jilsah program management, which includes planning, organizing, directing, and supervising in strengthening religious character education at Pesantren Nurul Azmi. The research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and verification/conclusion drawing techniques. The results of the research are as follows: 1) Planning for the weekly Jilsah program has been well-executed. Mentors have implemented the program according to the schedule set by the pesantren. The first steps in planning the Jilsah weekly activities include a) determining the character to be fostered, b) developing teaching materials and methods, c) selecting mentors and their groups, and d) establishing time and location allocations; 2) Organizing the weekly Jilsah program in strengthening religious character education is carried out by detailing responsibilities, authorities, and tasks clearly. The organization creates a structured and efficient framework; 3) Directing the weekly Jilsah program in strengthening religious character involves executing the activities according to the established plan and rules; 4) Supervision of the Jilsah weekly activities in strengthening religious character is conducted with the commitment of pesantren leaders to observe, encourage, and support every aspect of the activities. Special guidance and daily religious training are provided to shape the religious character of students. There is also supervision from the Jilsah Coordinator.
