Abstract

This study aims to produce a description of the written mathematical communication skills of SMP class VIII students on the subject matter of patterns and number sequences. The research method used by the researcher is descriptive qualitative research. Sources of data are taken from primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained by the researcher was analyzed using analytical methods with the steps of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions and verification. Based on the study results, the written mathematical communication skills of class VIII students at SMPN 8 Parepare, the subject matter of patterns and number sequences, seen from the four indicators, were classified as average. This is evidenced by the results of the data presentation of indicators where indicators 3 and 4 are combined as follows: 1). Presenting and rewriting the description of a given picture or pattern using their written language is considered not good; 2). Declaring the picture into a mathematical model and completing it is considered good; 3). Declaring mathematical situations or everyday events into mathematical models in writing and connecting mathematical ideas with relevant images and solving them is considered good.

Abstract

Learning carried out by a teacher can be facilitated by the existence of learning media. Learning media serves as a learning aid for students and can be used as a presentation of information on the subject matter, practice questions, or both. Current learning media can be in the form of applications that can be accessed via an Android smartphone. The purpose of this study was to develop logarithmic mathematics learning media using framework7. Framework7 is specifically intended for building hybrid-based mobile applications. The research method used in this research is research and development or Research and Development (R&D). The research design refers to Thiagarajan's research model which has 4 steps (4D), namely define, design, development, and dissemination. This study used data collection instruments in the form of validation sheets from media experts and material experts as well as a questionnaire regarding the logarithmic material learning media trials. According to the results of the development of learning media, it has five components, namely the home page, logarithmic menu list, logarithmic material interface, AP-LOG interface, quiz interface. There are three stages of learning media trials in this study, namely individual trials, small group trials, and large group trials. The results of the testings of instructional media for teachers and students get the results of 10 indicators. so that the learning media are classified under the criteria "suitable for use" and learning media can be used.

Abstract

Students at SDN 164 Pekanbaru who get therapy with the Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperation model employing interactive multimedia on FPB content and students who only receive treatment with traditional learning are the subjects of this quantitative experimental research. This study used the experimental and control classes as research samples. Using the Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperation paradigm and interactive multimedia, each class will be given a pre-test before therapy and a post-test after treatment. According to our findings, the Numbered Head Together (NHT) collaboration model, helped by interactive multimedia FPB material, had a significant impact on the learning motivation of fourth-grade children at SDN 164 Pekanbaru, as measured by pretest and posttest results of 94.03% and 109.41%, respectively, for the experimental class, whereas the control class received an averge score of 94.03% and a posttest score of 87.53%. The results show that the NHT cooperation model and interactive multimedia FPB material have an impact on the learning motivation of fourth grade students at SDN 164 Pekanbaru, with an average motivation of the experimental class being stronger than that of the control class.

Abstract

In the curriculum for 2013, it is proposed that one of the objectives of teaching mathematics: learners is expected to have problem-solving ability. The teacher is expected to increase the sudents activation in the learning process, especially the development of the ability to solve mathematical problems. In this context, the purpose of this study is to create produce of learning devices (syllabus, RPP and LKPD) of grade VII set material using model PBL to facilitate the ability to solve valid and practical criteria problems. The development model was used a model 4D (define, design, develop, desseminate). The research uses an instrument that is the learning device validation sheet (syllabus, RPP and LKPD). Based on data analysis, it was concluded that the problemb based mathematics learning model is valid. The results of 83% validation of the syllabus in valid categories, RPP 88% and LKPD 88% in highly valid categories. The LKPD developed was declared practical in a small group trials with an average student response 72% in practice.

Abstract

The implementation of the 2013 curriculum well is determined by developing learning tools. This research produces learning tools in the form of syllabus, lesson plans, and student worksheets with Problem Based Learning models on Social Arithmetic material. This research is a research and development (R&D) using a 4D model. The instrument in this study was a validity instrument in the form of a validation sheet used to validate the syllabus, lesson plans, and LKPD, as well as a practical instrument in the form of a student response questionnaire to determine the practicality of using LKPD. The average score of the syllabus validation results is 3.48 and is categorized as very valid. This shows that the syllabus can be tested. The average score of the RPP validation results is 3.48 and is categorized as very valid. This shows that the RPP can be tested. The average score for LKPD validation is 3.51 and is categorized as very valid. This shows that the LKPD can be tested. The average student response questionnaire results score is 3.47 and is categorized as very practical.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a mathematical learning device based on the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model of the sine and cosine rules to facilitate mathematical problem-solving skills (KPMM) for class X SMA/MA students that meet the valid criteria for syllabus, lesson plans, worksheets and practical for student worksheets. The development model used by the researcher is a 4-D model (four-D. The 4-D model consists of 4 stages, namely the definition stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the dissemination stage). Based on the data from the validation results, the learning tools developed in the form of syllabus, lesson plans and mathematics worksheets use the Problem Based Learning model on the sine and cosine rule material to facilitate the mathematical problem-solving abilities of class X SMA / MA students meet the very valid category and very practical category. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the syllabus, lesson plans, and worksheets are feasible to use.

This research produces a product in the form of a mathematics learning device using a Problem-Based Learning model on Algebraic Form material to facilitate students' Mathematical Problem-Solving Ability. Learning tools developed in the form of syllabus, lesson plan (RPP), and student worksheets (LKPD). The development model used is a 4-D model, where the stages are defined, designed, developed, and disseminated. The validity of the instrument is in the form of a validation sheet to assess the validity of the learning tools, namely the syllabus, lesson plans, and LKPD. Practical instruments in the form of student response questionnaires to assess the usefulness and ease of use of LKPD. Three validators will validate and revise it according to the validator's suggestions. Then a limited group trial was conducted with eight students. Based on the results of the validation data analysis, it was concluded that this mathematics learning tool was very valid, with an average score of 3.79 for the syllabus, 3.56 for lesson plans, and 3.52 for LKPD. Based on the results of practicality data analysis, the student response questionnaire showed a very practical category with an average rating of 3.59.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity of the mathematics learning tools in the form of Student Worksheets (LKPD) using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on statistical material. This study uses a type of R&D research that was developed using the modified Plomp development model because the research was carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic, so only 4 stages were carried out, namely 1) the initial investigation stage, 2) the design stage, 3) the realization/construction stage, 4) stage of test, evaluation and revision. The data collection instrument used was the LKPD validation sheet. The data collection technique used is a non-test technique with validation sheets from 2 lecturers of mathematics education at FKIP UIR and 1 mathematics teacher at MTs Hidayatul Muta'allim Mengkirau. The analytical technique used is validation data analysis. From the results of the study, the results of the LKPD validation were 85.47% with very valid validation criteria. Based on this research, it was obtained a mathematics learning tool in the form of LKPD with a Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on statistical material for class VIII MTs Hidayatul Muta'allim Mengkirau which had been tested for validity.
