Abstract

The use of electronic technology in learning provides reinforcement of the pattern of changing learning paradigms. The E-Learning system is a form of learning implementation that utilizes technology and is not limited by space and time. Skype is one of the most popular applications and has the most users. In terms of user interface (User Interface) Skype is more attractive, and has complete features but still looks simple. The picture and sound quality is better, so most people prefer to use the Skype application compared to other applications. This study was conducted to determine the effect of using Skype application-based E-Learning on student learning outcomes at SMK YPSEI Palangka Raya for the academic year 2020/2021. This research is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The research sample is the students of SMK YPSEI Palangka Raya for the academic year 2020/2021 as many as 100 74 students. Collecting data using questionnaires and documentation. While the data analysis technique used the Simple Regression test. The results showed that there was an effect of using Skype application-based E-Learning on student learning outcomes at SMK YPSEI Palangka Raya in the academic year.2020/2021 with the acquisition of a tcount of 14,744 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that the better the use of Skype application-based E-Learning, the higher the learning outcomes of students at SMK YPSEI Palangka Raya for the 2020/2021 school year.

Abstract

The Microprocessor course is a mandatory course that must be taken by every PVTE undergraduate student, in understanding the material contained in this course, the researcher assumes to develop a learning module. The purpose of this study is to facilitate student understanding in learning microprocessor material. In this thesis research, using R&D research with the aim of developing learning media in the form of Microprocessor Course Learning Modules in order to determine the effectiveness and quality of microprocessor learning modules so as to add insight and interest in reading for 4th semester students of the PVTE Study Program, FKIP Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The method used in this research is the research and development method by Sugiyono. The research stage is limited to 5 stages, namely: (1) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) product validation, and (5) trial use in order to determine the feasibility of this module learning media. The results of the development of learning media for the Microprocessor Course Module are for the results of the assessment of the media expert validator to get a percentage result of 90% where these results have entered the "very feasible" category. while for the results of the Material expert validator, the percentage result is 89%, which indicates that the content of the material in the Microprocessor Course learning module can be categorized as Very Appropriate.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the effectiveness of the POGIL model to increase learning motivation and mastery of the concept of buffer solutions students. The research method used is quasi-experimentation with pretest-postest control group design. Sampling is done by random sampling cluster technique and obtained class XI IPA 3 as an experimental class and class XI IPA 4 as a control class. The effectiveness of the POGIL model was analyzed using the n-Gain two-average difference test to learning motivation and mastery of concepts learners' between experimental class and control class. The results of the analysis of the study data showed that the average value of n-Gain motivation learning of learners in the experimental class was greater than the control class, as well as the average grade of n-Gain mastery of concept of the experimental class was greater than the control class. The results of the influence test analysis also showed that increased learning motivation and mastery of the concept of buffer solution students were influenced by the POGIL model. It can be understood that learning with the POGIL model is effective to increase learning motivation and mastery of the concept of buffer solution students.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the readiness and difficulty of online learning. Survey of the Ministry of Education 2020, 58% ineffective learning process, 38% lack of guidance, 35% poor communication, 62% need internet access, 59.5% object to homework. Research aims; 1)knowing the four teacher competency readiness when online, 2) knowing the location of the difficulty of teacher competence in the online process, 3) knowing the assessment method used. Method by presenting data, reduction and conclusion. The results of the analysis, 1) The material provided does not match the initial ability standards, the books provided do not make it easier for students, the teacher has difficulties in writing symbols. Professional competency assessment is 62%, pedagogic, the teacher does not have a module as a learning aid tool, the teacher has difficulty writing integral symbols, logarithms, matrices and mathematical induction on google meet. 2) The difficulty of the teacher when operating the google meet media, the teacher does not master how to write symbols, the difficulty of proving, the difficulty of expressing the concept, the difficulty of the internet network, the difficulty of correcting the homework, the difficulty of applying the method. Rating 45% disagree with the pedagogic, the book given the concept is too difficult, the impact is that understanding does not develop and is only accepting answers from the teacher without any active interaction. 3) 60% disagree with the assessment method, the material being tested is more difficult than what is taught, as a result the learning outcomes are not as expected. In conclusion, students expect the teacher to compile their own material in the form of a module and pour models, methods, strategies and make assessment indicators in the module.

Abstract

Technological advances in the 21st century in the industrial 4.0 era are developing very quickly, thereby changing the perspective and mindset of humans in using information technology where the use of information technology has entered the realm of education. In the realm of education, the use of information and communication technology is triggered by learning with the lecture method which is no longer suitable for the learning process. So that innovation is needed in terms of learning media with the use of information and communication technology. One of the learning media that can be developed and used is video learning. This study aims to determine the level of attractiveness and describe the validity of the video learning media in accordance with the competencies that can be used in speaking material. The research method used is R&D with ADDIE research and development design adapted from Lee and Owens (2014). The results showed the validity of the instructional video media based on the results of expert and student assessments. From the expert's assessment got valid results and from students through small groups obtained 88.5% results and from large groups obtained 91.10% results so that they got very valid results. It can be interpreted that the student's response to the learning video is very good.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the education process to be conducted online to avoid face-to-face education patterns. During the pandemic, however, many schools are still failing and experiencing the ineffectiveness of online learning systems. The urgency is that if this condition is not addressed and continues, students may experience a loss of learning, resulting in a lack of enthusiasm to learn at school and, as a result, a decline in cognitive testing results. During the pandemic, learning at the SD Karya Penggawa area, Pesisir Barat Lampung, was less effective, resulting in low student cognitive assessment outcomes. The goal of this study was to assess the need for LKPD development using HOTS-based LKPD Jumping Tasks (High Order Thinking Skills). The method used was a qualitative descriptive research method by conducting a needs analysis. Research data were obtained from interviews and questionnaires. Needs analysis questionnaires were given to teachers and grade 5 students in the Elementary Schools of the Karya Penggawa area. The results of the study revealed that the development of HOTS-based LKPDs needed to be carried out in SD Karya Penggawa areas because students wanted more attractive LKPDs to prevent loss of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Besides, it was also revealed that teachers wanted training on the implementation of LKPD jumping tasks to improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze an assessment needs based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in mathematics subjects of the fifth-grade elementary school. Analysis needs are required to find out the conditions needed in learning to achieve an educational goal. This research was conducted in a qualitative descriptive manner, with the research subject being the educators who taught the fifth grade of elementary school, with 4 educators. Research data was obtained through a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is Miles and Huberman which consists of data reduction (data reduction), data display (data presentation), and conclusion (concluding). The result showed that it is necessary to develop Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based mathematical assessment instrument to assist educators in making assessments, become a reference for educators to design or make HOTS-based assessments and help improve students' mathematical critical thinking skills.
