Abstract

Online lectures are the main means of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The Health Information Management Study Program is no exception, which uses online application facilities, such as zoom and online lectures. Zoom meeting is one of the online learning media that is often used by students of Health Information Management Study Program at Stikes Santa Elisabeth Medan. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of online lectures for students of the Health Information Management Study Program during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Online lectures provide an overview of the lack of optimal understanding of the material and the number of assignments given to students, resulting in an ineffective lecture process. Collecting data in this study using a questionnaire. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using a survey method via an online google form.

Abstract

Education must be able to be moved in a directed manner, so that the implementation of education is able to keep up with increasingly advanced technological developments, and so that education can be carried out based on science which is very rapidly at this time, it is expected to be able to make humans with high quality. Methods: This study uses quantitative research methods using a cross-sectional design, where cross-sectional is used to determine the relationship between learning motivation and student achievement. This research data uses the chi-square test to see if there is a relationship between learning motivation and student achievement. The population in this study were all students of health information management from level 1 to level 4, totaling 47 students. Results: Based on the results of research conducted on the relationship between learning motivation and student achievement in Health Information Management at Stikes Santa Elisabeth Medan, it showed that the majority in the High Motivation category were 28 respondents (59.6%), and learning achievement was in the good category as many as 27. respondents (57.4%). The results of the chi-square analysis conducted on the relationship between learning motivation and learning achievement showed that from 47 respondents, the p-value = 0.001 (p value <0.05). Conclusion: The lower the motivation possessed by students, the lower the achievement obtained. Vice versa, the higher the motivation possessed by students, the higher the achievement obtained

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of Android-based interactive media creation and design in the subject of broad-based WAN (TEKWAN) Network Technology Class XI at SMK Negeri 6 Padang FY 2021/2022. This study uses research and development methods (Research & Development). The research subjects were 34 students of SMK Negeri 6 Padang. This research method uses analysis (ADDIE), with the design and development steps as follows. (1) Analyze, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluate.The results of the overall practicality test assessment of the practicality assessment of Android-Based Interactive Media on the subject of Broad-Based Network Technology (WAN) Class XI at SMK Negeri 6 Padang is 92.21%, so the practicality level can be interpreted Very Practical to useIn conclusion, based on the assessment and expert input as well as the results of the field trial of Android-Based Interactive Media as a learning medium, it has been tested for feasibility, excellence, and can be used in the learning process on the subject of Broad-Based Network Technology (WAN) for class XI at SMK Negeri 6 Padang.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the school's strategy in implementing limited face-to-face learning at SMP Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kerinci in the 2021/2022 academic year, Pangkalan Kerinci District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. from the beginning students did the online learning process but switched to face-to-face limited. This requires schools to develop strategies in the limited face-to-face teaching and learning process (Offline) by implementing Health protocols and achieving learning objectives. The aim is to find out the school's strategy in implementing limited face-to-face learning at SMP Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kerinci for the 2021/2022 academic year. The theory in this research is Structural Functional Theory by Talcot Parson with four AGIL schemes. The research approach used is qualitative with descriptive type. Purposive sampling of research informants. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and document studies. The unit of analysis in this study is the group. Data analysis using Miles and Huberman models. The results include: a) preparation for implementation b) vaccination implementation, c) parent/guardian approval letter, d) blended learning, e) offline and online learning implementation, f) assessment system, g) health protocol, h) understanding the material offline and online learning.

Abstract

Covid-19 has hit all parts of the world, one of which is Indonesia, Covid is a contagious disease from person to person so it can spread quickly, directly or indirectly. This Covid-19 condition attacks the respiratory system, at that time there were no outbreak handlers, vaccines, medicines for healing Covid-19 patients and no way to break the chain of spread. The government's policy is to carry out physical distancing, lock down, PPKM, the impact of these government policies will certainly hamper various growths such as economic, social, and education. This research uses cross sectional research. The research instrument was 47 students of Health Information Management STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan, sampling was carried out using total sampling technique, data collection was carried out by primary data. Data analysis using SPSS. The results of statistical tests using the chi-square test obtained a p-value of 0.001 seen from Asymp.Sig (2-sided) p<0.05. online learning for students of Health Information Management study program at STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan in good category as many as 37 respondents (78.7%), stress levels in Health Information Management students at STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan in medium category as many as 28 respondents (59.6%). Suggestions for students to avoid stress while participating in online learning are by starting to realize and pay attention to themselves so they don't experience stress. Suggestions for future researchers to get a broader picture

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the thematic textbooks for the Kurikulum 2013 at the SD YKPP in Jambi City by knowing the obstacles in implementing the 2013 thematic textbooks at the SD YKPP. In this study the method used was a qualitative method with a case study approach. In collecting data, this research conducted in-depth interviews with the participants. Participants who were interviewed consisted of one principal and six teachers. The results showed that (1) The application of thematic textbooks at SD YKPP had been going well by adjusting the conditions of students and schools. (2) The obstacle faced in implementing the thematic textbooks for the Kurikulum 2013 at the SD YKPP is the adjustment of the differences in the learning abilities of each student. (3) Thematic textbooks are considered to have been effectively implemented in the SD YKPP, supported by some evidence that the facilities and infrastructure at the SDYKPP are adequate, there is an increase in overall student achievement every semester, and the achievement of the objectives of the Kurikulum 2013

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology in the industrial era 4.0 certainly contributes to shifting human activities in interacting and communicating. In the world of education, teachers need to synchronize learning in accordance with the characteristics of students in the industrial era 4.0. The main key in this synchronization arises in the competence of the teacher to be able to establish interpersonal relationships with learners, other educators, parents, and the educational community. So that the capacity of the teacher in interpersonal intelligence needs to be honed and adapted to his time. Therefore, the purpose of writing this article is to describe the urgency of interpersonal intelligence for teachers in the industrial era 4.0. The type of research used in this study is literature review research. The research approach used is in the form of sample characteristics systematically using sources in the form of books and articles. This research procedure consists of 5 stages, namely 1) determining the topic of study; 2) collect information from various sources; 3) classify references in accordance with the topic of study; 4) carry out the synthesis of relevant references; 5) write down the results of the synthesis. The results of this study show that 1) interpersonal intelligence is an important part for teachers as a basis for interaction between teachers and students, peers, parents, principals, policy makers, education observers, and the educational community; 2) interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence has a relationship with one another; 3) communication of teachers and students in the industrial era 4.0. happening in classrooms and virtual spaces through social media; 4) teachers need to follow the development of information technology as a medium to learn and communicate with studentsThe rapid development of information technology in the industrial era 4.0 certainly contributes to shifting human activities in interacting and communicating. Abstract

Mathematics is one of the subjects that aims to solve abstract problems that are changed to everyday problems. Based on the results of observations and interviews with mathematics teachers at SMP Negeri 4 Muncar, information was obtained that students' mathematical representation abilities were low, this was because teachers never connected mathematics material with everyday life. So the perception that mathematics is a difficult and scary subject takes root in students. Mathematical representation abilities can be developed using a learning model based on problem solving. Therefore, in this study, researchers used the Creative Problem Solving model as an effort to improve students' representational abilities.This research uses quantitative research, with a quasi-experimental design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Muncar, while the sample of this study was students of class VIII A and VIII D. The sample selection in this study was carried out using students' end-of-semester test scores, then tested for normality and homogeneity. Meanwhile, to determine the experimental class and control class, the researcher used random sampling technique. This study aims to measure the effect of the Creative Problem Solving model on students' representational abilities and to determine the differences in student learning outcomes on the representation of function material using the Creative Problem Solving model. Based on the hypothesis test, the value of sig. (2 tailed) < 0.000 <0.05 can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the Creative Problem Solving model and the representation ability of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Muncar.

Abstract

Poetry writing skills are one of the materials that require students to be able to present their written work. Based on the results of observations and interviews at SMP Negeri 4 Muncar, it was found that the eighth grade students had difficulties in writing poetry. Students tend not to be able to distinguish the vocabulary used in poetry and descriptive texts, so that students' work tends to lead to descriptive texts. One of them is the use of inappropriate learning media which affects the limited knowledge of students. In the learning process at SMP Negeri 4 Muncar using print media, namely package books. The use of this textbook is considered less effective in delivering the material, because students do not get real examples of the poem. Therefore, researchers use electronic modules as learning media. This research uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. The samples of this study were students of class VIII B as the experimental class and VIII C as the control class. The data in this study were obtained from the results of the pre-test and post-test of the experimental class and the control class. Data analysis in this study used the SPSS 26.0.0 application. This study aims to measure the effect of using electronic modules on poetry writing skills and to determine the differences in poetry writing skills using electronic modules. Based on the value of the pre-test results of the experimental class, the average value was 62.44 and the average value of the post-test results was 84.26. While the results of hypothesis testing are known to be sig.(2tailed) < 0.000 <0.05, there is an effect of using electronic modules on poetry writing skills in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Muncar.

Abstract

Learning computer network material, especially computer network damage diagnosis material, is an abstract and difficult material to understand. The main objective of this research is to develop learning media that utilizes an expert system based on Borland Delphi 7 on valid computer network damage diagnosis material. This research was conducted in August 2021 at SMK 2 Serang. This learning media development design follows the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) stage. The validation of this learning media program includes content validation and the design of the media itself. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the learning media developed in this study had a very high validity value from the two aspects assessed. For the validity of this learning media subject matter, the validation by the expert is 3.61 and the validation by the teacher is 3.6 so it is very relevant to the concepts that will be taught using this media, while the validity of the media design by the expert is 3.5 and by the teacher 3.62 so that the learning media This research can be declared suitable to be used to support learning in schools
