Abstract

Research This is class action research( PTK ). The subjects of this study are class XI students of SMA Jaya Negara Makassar.This study aims to describe the improvement of biology learning outcomes through the Find TheFib technique in biology learning for class XI students of SMA Jaya Negara Makassar, with a total of 24 students consisting of 11 men and 13 women. The Find theFib technique is a technique that uses a true and false system, where 2 choices are right and 1 choice is wrong. The research method used is class action research (PTK) with quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data collection using interview instruments, observation sheets and test results. The data analysis techniques in this study use quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. Based on the results of this research, learning through the Find the Fib technique can increase activities and learning outcomes of Biology in class XI students of SMA Jaya Negara Makassar

Abstract

In this era, reading the Quran is not a difficult thing to do, this is due to technological advances and so on. Reading the Quran can be done through a smartphone or through other technological sophistication. However, in the kenagarian sungai dareh, children are still taught manually, namely learning to recite at TPQ/TPSQ or mushalah. This is useful so that when learning to read the Quran children or students understand and understand better and are precise in the pronunciation of makhrajul letters. The method used in this study is to use survey research with qualitative descriptive techniques, where this study aims to produce data analysis through data collection instruments with observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that there are still many students who have difficulty in reading the Quran, such as difficulties for young students who are just starting to learn to recite and not infrequently there are also students who have grown up who are still not taught in reading the Quran. this is due to the presence of internal factors and external factors. The role of parents is very much required in guiding their children in learning to recite not only at TPQ / TPSQ but at home it is also necessary to do so that their children can read the Quran more fluently and precisely in the pronunciation of makhrajul letters.

Abstract

To introduce young people at school at early stage to engineering profession, an activity such as giving a lecture and some demo to them becomes important. This activity will hopefully create better understanding on engineering world especially in the field of electrical engineering by introducing an increasingly popular technology called IoT (Internet of Things). The target school is SMK Muhammadiyah 02 Tangerang Selatan. Because of COVID-19 pandemic situation and PSBB rules implemented in Tangerang Selatan in which school students had to study from home, then the lecture was given online by Zoom application on Tuesday, August 18th at 13.30 – 15.00 WIB. The partcipants attending the online lecture reached 26 consisting of grade III students of Computer Network program and some teachers as well. The results of the questionnaires given shortly before the webinar ends show that for Introduction of Engineering Profession, the majority of them (61,54%) states Interesting Enough, for Introduction of IoT the majority (57,69%) says Interesting and for IoT Demo the majority (53,85%) thinks Interesting Enough. The benefit of this webinar is clear when the majority of participants (57,69%) agrees Beneficial to them and all of them (100%) say Agree that this activity is also introduced to other students at school

Abstract

When working or doing something to be more enthusiastic, you must have a motivation, but increasing that motivation is a little difficult for some people. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the motivation of the Balinese people to work in Japan. The object of this research is students who conduct job training at the Job Training Institute (LPK) in Ubud and Tabanan areas. The method of using the data in this study used the interview method, the observation method and the questionnaire method. The data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis technique. It can be concluded from the results of the analysis related to "Motivation of the Balinese People to Work in Japan" is to increase the motivation in each of them even before knowing or deciding to take part in training to work in Japan, but with patience to follow the training provided at LPK ( Job Training Institutes) in Bangli, Ubud and Tabanan areas, the community becomes more enthusiastic to work in Japan without coercion from outsiders, both family and friends. The Balinese people's motivation to work in Japan was seen to have greatly increased from the gradual changes when filling out the questionnaire and when being interviewed more deeply about matters related to the completed questionnaire

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership on teacher performance, to determine the effect of school facilities on teacher performance and to simultaneously determine the effect of leadership and school facilities on teacher performance. This research can be classified as associative research with a total sample of 41 people. The method used is a survey method. Data collection techniques are carried out by looking for supporting data from various literatures and journals, interviews, by collecting data by communicating directly with the object of research, observing data obtained from direct research results on activities carried out in the field, distributing questionnaires The questionnaire contains a list of questions related to the problem being studied for teachers. The conclusion of the study is that the leadership variable partially has a positive effect on teacher performance with a value of tcount > ttable 4,410 > 1,684, the school facilities variable partially has a positive effect on teacher performance with a value of tcount > ttable 5,734 > 1,684, the leadership variable and school facilities simultaneously have a positive effect on teacher performance with a value of Fcount > Ftable which is 16.517 > 3.320

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning on the mathematics learning outcomes of students in class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Limbung. This type of research is pre-experimental with the research design used is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample in this study was class VIII.1 with a total of 30 students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The instruments used to collect data were student mathematics learning outcomes tests (pretest and posttest), student activity observation sheets, and student response questionnaires. The data analysis of this research is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of research and discussion, it is concluded that: (1) The students' mathematics learning outcomes have increased with the average score of students' mathematics learning outcomes after the application is 84.33 and the results of the n-gain test are  obtained  or so that the n-gain value is more than 0.3. (2) The average percentage of student activity is 82.65%, so student activity reaches the active criteria and (3) Student responses are positive where the average percentage is 83.11%. Thus, the application of the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) cooperative learning has an effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of students in class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Limbung.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the understanding that the current reality shows that the approach that has been developing so far is more naturalistic-positivistic which refers to cognitive coherence. Whereas the cognitive aspect in the context of mastering the subject matter is not the ultimate goal of a learning process. Mastery of subject matter is not the end of the teaching process, but only as an intermediate goal for the formation of better behavior. This study aims to measure the affective competence of students in learning using a value-based approach with the aid of multimedia. Aspects that are measured are acceptance, response, value inculcation, organization of values ​​and characteristics. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach. Data collection is done by using a questionnaire technique. Respondents are students who teach General Biology courses. Learning is carried out using powerpoint-based interactive media while the implementation of value-based learning is inserted in learning activities and the content of teaching materials used. The results showed that the learning process in addition to increasing students' interest and motivation also made students show positive attitudes in terms of: 1) Receiving; 2) Response (responding); 3) Value investment (valuing); 4) Organization of values ​​(organization); 5) Characteristics of life (characterization).

Abstract

This research is backgrounded by the results of observations obtained, namely the use of learning media used by teachers is predominantly monotonous and makes students feel saturated or bored to learn. With these problems, researchers develop smart module teaching materials to assist teachers in providing material to students so that students can understand the material well. This study aims to (1) find out the validity of the development of human module smart teaching materials and the environment, (2) know the practicality of human module smart teaching materials and the environment for class V elementary schools and, (3) know the effectiveness of the smart module teaching materials "Humans and the Environment". The development model used is the ADDIE model. The development of smart module teaching materials has met the criteria of validity, practicality and, effectiveness by concluding that teaching materials are very well used without improvement through the results of the questionnaire of the validity of teaching material experts with a score of 86% and material with a score of 83%. The practicality results obtained a questionnaire of 90% teacher response and 92% student response.

Abstract

This research is motivated by observations which show that the Student Worksheets (LKPD) in elementary schools have not been varied and are still print-based so they cannot accommodate the role of technology. LKPD is still in the form of multiple choice questions and descriptions so it is less interesting for students. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the scientific approach-oriented worksheets with live worksheet applications for fourth grade elementary school students so that they are feasible to use and improve student activities and learning outcomes. The research method used is R&D (Research and Development) research with the ADDIE model which includes the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects were teachers and fourth grade students of MI Jumog, Trenggalek Regency. The results of this study are (1) the validity of obtaining results 82% from material experts, 90% from construction experts and 93% from linguists, (2) practicality getting 96% percentage of teacher responses and 96% of student responses, and (3 ) the effectiveness of obtaining the percentage of classical learning completeness (KBK) is 88%. Thus, it can be concluded that the LKPD oriented to a scientific approach with the application of the live worksheet theme 2 sub-theme 2 is declared valid, practical and effective to support fourth grade learning in elementary schools

Abstract

In education, assessment means the process of collecting and processing information for the purpose of student learning outcomes. To carry out this assessment, the teacher needs an instrument assessment in the form of questions that develop HOTS. In this era, students must have high-order thinking skills (HOTS), one of which is critical thinking. The importance of higher-order thinking skills can be seen from the government's efforts to integrate learning that is strengthened in character education, literacy, HOTS-based learning today. Therefore, this study aims to develop valid HOTS-based questions. With question-based that can be used to measure students' critical thinking. the research model used in this study is an example of the development of Educational Research according to Tessmer. The data analysis technique used is quantitative analysis which aims to determine the validity of the questions. The validity of this development item was obtained based on the verification results of history education teachers. The results of this development were in the form of questions consisting of 10 HOTS-based questions to measure students' critical intelligence, with a discussion of the development of Islam in Indonesia being tested on class X students at SMA N 1 Tanggga Batu.
