Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that most of the preparation and budgeting of quality improvement programs and activities are not fully data-based, so they are still partial and unsustainable. This is a problem that will impact other aspects, including the implementation of programs in educational units that are not measurable, partial, and unsustainable, ultimately resulting in no significant improvement in educational quality. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of an internal quality assurance system based on educational report cards in senior high schools. The implementation of research related to the implementation of an internal quality assurance system based on educational report cards in senior high schools, used qualitative research with descriptive study methods. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of SPMI also faces challenges. One of them is the resistance of some teachers to changes in learning approaches based on data and project literacy. The impact of the implementation of an internal quality assurance system based on educational report cards has brought significant changes to the learning process. Teachers are more active in adapting learning approaches based on critical literacy and project-based learning. Students are involved in exploratory activities such as mini-research, article presentations, and text-based group discussions. The school climate has become more positive and dialogical. Relationships between students, teachers, and management have become more open thanks to regular reflection spaces and collaborative literacy activities. Student discussion forums have become a healthy platform for criticism and appreciation of the school system.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the role of transformational leadership of principals in the development of Islamic education in Islamic elementary schools. The research approach used is a qualitative case study method in several Islamic elementary schools in a specific region. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies, then analyzed thematically to identify patterns and meanings related to the characteristics and practices of transformational leadership applied by principals. The results show that principals who apply transformational leadership are able to motivate teachers and students, inspire a more progressive vision of Islamic education, and create a learning environment conducive to the development of Islamic character and competency. These findings emphasize the importance of the role of visionary and inspirational leaders in strengthening the development of Islamic education at the elementary level. This study contributes to the development of educational leadership theory and the practice of principal leadership in the context of Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to understand and explore financial management in rural Islamic junior high schools (Madrasah Tsanawiyah) from the perspective of Islamic school management. The method used was a qualitative case study approach, allowing researchers to gain an in-depth understanding of the financial management process, challenges, and strategies implemented by the madrasahs. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation from madrasah administrators and teachers. The results indicate that financial management in these madrasahs remains traditional and relies on community funding and voluntary donations. The main obstacles faced are limited resources and a low understanding of professional financial management. Nevertheless, some madrasahs have begun implementing more transparent and accountable financial management systems to improve operational sustainability. These findings provide an important contribution to the development of Islamic-based madrasah financial management in rural areas and provide input for efforts to improve the professionalism of Islamic school financial management.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of technology-based learning management on student learning outcomes at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (Islamic junior high school). This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with 12 teachers and 20 students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (Islamic junior high school) who have used technology-based learning management. The results of the study indicate that technology-based learning management can improve student learning outcomes in several ways, namely: (1) improving the quality of teaching materials through e-learning; (2) increasing student learning motivation through game-based learning; and (3) improving students' critical thinking skills through project-based learning. The results of this study also indicate that Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers need to be given training and support to improve their skills in using technology in the learning process.
