Abstract

Nurses are the implementing elements of service activities of a hospital so that the quality of nurses will determine hospital performance. Therefore, nurses who have good performance are needed. Nurse performance is closely related to how much motivation and workload nurses have in providing health services to patients. Meanwhile, the number of nurses at the Makassar City Hospital is still inadequate, causing the nurses' workload to be quite high. However, in carrying out nursing care, nurses have their own motivations that encourage them to carry out their duties and responsibilities as well as possible. This study aims to determine the relationship between motivation and workload with the performance of nurses in the inpatient installation of Makassar City Hospital. The type of research used is quantitative research using a cross sectional study approach. The population in this study were all nurses who served in the inpatient installation of the Makassar City Hospital. Determination of the sample by the method of total sampling with a total sample of 69 nurses. The results of the study using chi-square showed that motivation (p=0.000) and workload (p=0.044). The p value of all independent variables <0.05 so that there is a relationship between motivation and workload with the performance of nurses in the inpatient installation of Makassar City Hospital.

Abstract

Pellet feed is feed that is commonly used for the cultivation of livestock, namely broiler chickens, birds, hamsters, rabbits, fish and shrimp. Carp (Cyprinus carpio) is a fish that is often cultivated because it has economic opportunities and increasing demand. This study aims to determine the growth in length and weight of carp with pellet feeding. The research was conducted at the Basic Science Laboratory of UNARS campus 2 in July and August 2022. The method of observing the length and weight of carp using descriptive analysis method. The goldfish samples tested were 3 groups with 3 goldfish in each group. Groups of carp A, B and C were given different pellet feed treatments with pellet feed concentrations of 3%, 4% and 5% of the weight of the carp group. The results showed that pelleted feed with a concentration of 4% of carp B group added the highest weight of carp compared to feed with a concentration of 3% of carp A group and feed of 5% concentration of carp C group. The highest absolute length growth was seen in feed with 3% concentration of group A compared to feed with a concentration of 3% of group A. 4% concentration feed group B and 5% concentration feed group C

Abstract

Harimonting fruit (Rhodomyrtus tomentosa) has the potential to be used as an alternative dye because it has an attractive color. The dark purple color of Harimonting fruit is due to the presence of flavonoids, tannins, and steroids. From several components including Nipagin, Cera alba, BHT, Oleum ricini, Vaseline alba, Lanolin, Cetyl alcohol, Profiln glycol, Carnauba wax, Harimonting Fruit Extract with a concentration of 14%, 22% and 30-% and Harimonting Fruit Extract (Rhodomyrtus tomentosa) with concentrations of 10%, 13%, and 16%. Harimonting fruit (Rhodomyrtus tomentosa) was carried out by Maceration method with 75% ethanol as solvent. Lipstick preparations from Sari and Harimonting Fruit Extract (Rhodomyrtus tomentosa) resulted in a pH test of 4.4-5.4 (close to lip pH 4.0-6.5), melting point of 55.3-55.6˚C met the point requirements the melting point of lipstick (50-70˚C), the preparation of lipstick from the Harimonting fruit juice (Rhodomyrtus tomentosa) does not cause irritation when applied, it shows the presence of uneven red granules so that the lipstick preparation from the Harimonting fruit juice (Rhodomyrtus tomentosa) cannot be used as a natural dye for making lipstick, while Lipstick Preparations from Harimonting Fruit Extract (Rhodomyrtus tomentosa) do not cause irritation and are evenly distributed and easily smeared so that they can be used as natural dyes for making lipstick.

Abstract

The data processing system in the shop is still manual. Previously, the shop had not been able to predict the stock or inventory of goods. Therefore, this system predicts the inventory of goods in the shop. so that the data processing system at the shop can be handled by problems that occur and can form information quickly, precisely, and well. The use of the a priori method which will be used to calculate the prediction of the supply of goods in stock that is still there. And this a priori method will later be used to calculate odds. Data storage using SQL Server database. With the development of technology, the ability to collect and process data is also growing. Data processing has become the advantage of computers, computers have also penetrated various aspects, both in the field of education and in the business world. Competition in the global business has built tight competition between one stall and another. This algorithm is used to analyze when purchasing goods that have run out of stock by classifying which goods have been added to stock or not, as a result, the availability of goods remains stable and maintained. The author is currently making inventory predictions at the stalls to develop an existing system with the a priori method.

Abstract

Buni fruit (Antidesma bunius (L.) Spreng) is a plant that contains anthocyanin pigments that can give a red color. The purpose of this study was to make cheek dye preparations in solid form using buni fruit extract (Antidesma bunius (L.) Spreng) as a dye. The extract was obtained by maceration using 96% ethanol containing 2% citric acid. The cheek coloring formula that was made was using buni fruit dye with a concentration of 10; 12.5; 15 and 17.5%. The tests carried out include: physical quality inspection (homogeneity, polish test, crack test), irritation test, and stability test. Formula with a concentration of 10% produces a pale cream color; preparation with a concentration of 12.5% ​​produces a cream color, a concentration of 15% produces a weak pink color and a concentration of 17.5% produces a dark pink color. The results of the physical quality examination of the preparation showed that the preparation had a homogeneous color, good polish at a concentration of 17.5% because it produced a clear pink color during polishing and did not crack when dropped from a height of 25 cm. Preparations are not irritating. From the observation of the shape, it was found that all the cheek coloring preparations made did not change shape from the initial form of printing for 90 days at room temperature storage. From the results of color observations, all preparations made remained stable during storage at room temperature for 50 days, on day 55 the color of the preparation began to fade, this was due to unstable anthocyanins. The odor of the preparation remained stable in storage for 90 days of observation at room temperature. These results indicate that buni fruit extract can be used as a colorant in cheek coloring preparations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of giving chicken manure and the right dose in increasing the vegetative growth of maize (Zea mays. L). This research was conducted in March – June 2022 in Sidenreng Rappang Regency using a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 4 treatments which were repeated 5 times, each replication consisted of 3 sample plants so there were 60 plant units, while the treatments used were N0 : No treatment / no fertilizer, N1: 50 grams of chicken manure, N2: 100 grams of chicken manure, and N3: 150 grams of chicken manure. From the results of the variance of chicken manure giving no significant effect on the vegetative growth of corn plants. There were vegetative growth results that gave the best response with N2 treatment of 100 grams of chicken manure showing plant height = 73.09 cm, stem diameter = 1.14 cm and number of leaves = 7.3 strands.

Abstract

Tamanggung District is an area development that has characteristics of agricultural land use. The development of Tamanggung District indirectly has an influence on the population and the need for residential land. This sub-district is growing very fast due to strategic area conditions, good infrastructure, adequate facilities and easy accessibility. The creation of good infrastructure tends to have an impact on increasing activity and space density. The development of settlements in Tamanggung District occurs rapidly without being matched by an increase in basic service facilities. The development of settlements causes an increase in building density (building disinfection). The density of this building causes pressure on residential land and it is feared that it can exceed the carrying capacity limit. The purpose of this study is to calculate the carrying capacity of residential land in Tamanggung District and calculate the optimal population carrying capacity of settlements. The results of the study of the carrying capacity of residential land in Tamanggung District still have land large enough to accommodate the existing population of 4 (four) times the current population. Based on the provisions of the carrying capacity of land for settlements, the DDPm of Tamanggung District is included in the category of DDP> 1 which indicates that the Tamanggung District is able to accommodate residents to live. Abstract

In the production of photovoltaic modules, solar cells are an input that is processed to produce a photovoltaic module output. The core process of making photovoltaic modules is at the soldering stage of solar cells until the solar cells are assembled in series and become a string. The soldering process at PT. Indonesia Solar Global is done automatically using a machine called Solar Cells Automatic Tabber Stringer. This soldering machine uses the infrared soldering method in which the light produced from infrared produces heat energy so that it can solder the solar cells. So that in the soldering process using this machine an analysis is carried out to be able to classify what type of control system is on the Solar Cells Automatic Tabber Stringer machine. This research was conducted using data collection by means of interviews and direct observation in the field. This research produces new knowledge related to the type of control system that exists in the Solar Cells Automatic Tabber Stringer machine which is capable of soldering solar cells to produce a string output.

Abstract

Abstract PT. Indonesia Power Suralaya PGU has an electricity capacity of 3400 MW. Motor Primary Air Fan as the main air supplier to the boiler. To keep the Primary Air Fan motor from being disturbed, it is protected and monitored with GE Multilin 269. The research method that the author uses is the online interview and observation method regarding the motor protection system with the head of the electrical division 5-7 PT. Indonesia Power with data analysis technique that is Miles & Huberman interactive model. GE Multilin 269 output relays (eg, TRIP, AUX) used to trip the motor must change state when control power is removed from the GE Multilin 269 relay. When the input data matches the database, an output is generated. The results of the study can be concluded that the output can be an analog signal as well as an action. The action here is in the form of relay outputs, namely: (1) breaker relay, (2) assistance relay, (3) delay relay and (4) service relay. When checking the motor setpoint page 1 to check and change all alarm trips on the primary air fan motor and setpoint page 3 to check the O/L curve set so that it displays the trip time from 1 second to 8 seconds.

Abstract

Air transmission lines are very susceptible to lightning strikes resulting in traveling waves that can enter electrical equipment. Surge propagation can cause damage to existing electrical equipment on the transmission line of the substation. One component that has an important role in the substation is the Lightning Arrester (LA) as a protection system from lightning strikes. The purpose of this research is to determine the performance of lightning arresters that are more than 10 years old. Therefore, to ensure the safety of the electric power system from surge voltages and keep the lightning arrester performance reliable, it is necessary to carry out maintenance activities on the lightning arrester. The maintenance carried out is testing Leakage Current Measurement (LCM) and replacing lightning arresters. The research method used is the observation research method in the industrial field with interviews, data collection and analysis and literature study. The results of the LCM test on the old R phase lightning arrester are 112.7 A with a percentage of 86.69% in monitor conditions. So it is necessary to replace the old lightning arresters with new conditions. As for the results of the LCM test on the replacement R phase lightning arrester (new) of 33.4 A with a percentage of 25.69% in good condition.
