Abstract

Online product marketing uses Instagram and Shopee as media or means of product promotion. Gulo Puan small and medium enterprises sell traditional food products in Rambutan Village which are made from swamp buffalo milk and granulated sugar called Gulo Puan. This business was founded on June 15 2020 by a housewife named Dwi Pratiwi. The purpose of this research is to find out the marketing communication strategies used by small and medium business owners who market their products through the online media Instagram and Shopee so that these products can be recognized by many consumers. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative method, data collection techniques carried out by researchers through observation, interviews and documentation. The primary data sources in this study were Dwi Pratiwi who is the owner of a small and medium gulo lady business, Mrs. Dawisa who is a gulo lady maker, and Muhajirin, who is a swamp buffalo breeder in the village of Rambutan. Secondary data sources were obtained through sales documents for Gulo Puan products on online media, Instagram and Shopee owned by Gulo Puan small and medium enterprises. Based on the results of research on marketing communication strategies carried out by small and medium business owners, Gulo Puan in online shopping media is carried out using the marketing mix theory. The researcher concludes that the marketing communication strategy used by Gulo Puan small and medium business owners in online media is to use the marketing mix theory, using the 4p, namely product, price, place, and promotion (promotion).

Abstract

This research is entitled "The Use of Journalistic Language Style in Broadcasting and News at RRI Palembang". It often happens that broadcasting institutions both government and private have their own problems in news making, news production, and even things that happen during broadcasts. Broadcasting institutions also have their own programs to adjust to the needs of the market and listeners plus the modern era like today in the use of journalistic language styles, few broadcasting or radio institutions apply journalistic language styles properly and correctly. The method used is a qualitative method using Kunjana Rahardi's theory. With the first stage, researchers observed the process of making news in broadcast programs at RRI Palembang and the use of journalistic language styles in the field of broadcasting and news at RRI Palembang. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that RRI Palembang will limit the use of journalistic language in broadcasting, from several existing programs that are characterized by contemporary, local language, some even use journalistic language properly and correctly in accordance with the KBBI (Big Indonesian Dictionary) and EYD (Refined Spelling). While in the field of news in making news at RRI Palembang, the field of news in the use of journalistic language styles has followed in accordance with the KBBI and EYD. Which in making news has gone through various processes, standardized sentences, language that is not convoluted and easy to understand. Abstract

Humans cannot achieve what they want with themselves and must communicate in their lives. As human social beings need other people and need groups or communities to interact with each other. Various groups can also be formed by having different characteristics and goals. One example is the collective music community. The collective group that carries the do it yourself (DIY) slogan. Where in this group refused the intervention of the owners of capital in the event of the gigs they held, where they only relied on cohesiveness in the formation of their own networks in carrying out their group activities. This study aims to determine the function of Group Communication on Collective Cah-Community in Music Togetherness. The functions described are in the form of Social Relations Functions, Educational Functions and Information Sharing, Persuasion Functions, Problem Solving Functions and Decision Making, and Therapy Functions. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach, and used in-depth interviews and observations as data collection tools. The research subject refers to the problem under study, namely the members of the Collective Cah-cah community. The results of the study were based on interviews and observations conducted by researchers on the Collective Cah-Cah community that group members used the function of group communication functions for the continuity of their groups, such as making communities a place to form social relations, as a place for information that is important to the community, making communities as a means of finding solutions and making decisions, changing the mindset of members, and improving the nature and behavior with the encouragement of the community it self.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Semiotics Analysis on the Design of the Cahaya_Publisher Publisher Logo". This research was conducted on the logo of the Cahaya_Publisher publisher, which is a book publishing that focuses on the religious/spiritual genre. The formulation of the problem in this study is the semiotic analysis of the Cahaya_publisher logo design on the meaning of connotations, denotations and myths in the Cahaya-publisher logo design. The purpose of this study is to determine the meaning of connotations, denotations, and myths in the logo design of the Cahaya_publisher publisher. The author uses a qualitative research method, the data used is primary data in this study, namely the founder of Cahaya_publisher who also designed the Cahaya_publisher logo and secondary data, namely printed media and internet sites to support collecting data sources. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews and documentation. The analysis technique used is Roland Barhets Semiotics analysis. The results of this study are that the meaning of denotation is a visual unity of the yellow and brown logo with the use of sunflower and pen elements. writing, for myth is a positive hope that is contained in the logo design in the form of a sunflower unity and the colors yellow and brown are chosen as representatives of sunlight which has positive energy, lighting for the surroundings in this case for the world of publishing and writing.

Abstract

With the title "Analysis of Virtual Communication on the Palembang World RP Group Roleplayer Telegram Platform". This study describes how virtual communication in roleplayer games among teenagers, especially teenagers in the city of Palembang. This study aims to find out how the process of roleplayer users form virtual communication and analyze virtual communication in the telegram platform roleplayer world towards members of the RP Palembang group. The theory used in this research is social science theory and new media theory. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method. The approach used by researchers in this study is through observation obtained by conducting observations and structured interviews to become a reference for researchers to understand in depth about virtual communication in telegram platform roleplayer games. From the research results that have been obtained from the observation and documentation of researchers, the author can explain the process of forming virtual communication between roleplayer players, the types of virtual communication that occur in roleplayer games, supporting factors and inhibiting factors for virtual communication for roleplayer players and the advantages of the telegram platform in forming virtual communication in the roleplayer world of RP Group Palembang members.

Abstract

This research is motivated by advances in social media technology that provide many good benefits in life. In addition to the good benefits, technological advances also have a negative effect on the social environment. The impact of social media makes a person do not care about the people around him, is indifferent, lacks attention which can change the pattern of life that is around us and also change the communication patterns that exist within the scope of society, especially the Catholic community of Padang city. Modern technology has been widely used by Catholics as a medium for meeting the information needs they need. Along with the development of technology, utilization through modern social media puts forward an effectiveness in the search for information. Social media has become a new digital space that is of great interest to all circles. The presence of social media has changed and shifted all aspects of people's lives who use social media. Now society is in a very fast flow of change due to social media. Social media is a channel or means of socializing online in cyberspace (the internet). As a medium of communication, social media is in great demand by the public because of the convenience and features it offers. Now social media is growing very rapidly as evidenced by the presence of various kinds of social media such as Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, Instagr, Line, and others. It is unavoidable that the existence of social media provides many conveniences to its users. The church is facing current trends These media make it easy for users to post and access and are used as opportunities for evangelism and worship. Abstract

This study aims to determine how the interpersonal communication patterns of teachers and deaf students and students' responses to communication symbols in SLB Taman Pendidikan Islam Medan. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research methods and data collection techniques used include interviews, observation and documentation. This research uses symbolic interaction theory which is a theory of how humans communicate with symbols that are carried in everyday life. The results of this study indicate that the interpersonal communication patterns of teachers and deaf students at SLB Taman Pendidikan Islam Medan are using lecture patterns, demonstration patterns and question and answer patterns. SLB Taman Pendidikan Islam Medan uses verbal (oral and written) and non-verbal (sign language) communication in the learning process. Students' responses to communication symbols are in the form of positive responses and negative responses. Positive responses are shown by looking for objects that are similar to the symbols given by the teacher. Negative responses are shown by emotional changes such as confusion, silence, and even rejection from students.

Abstract

Komunikasi interpersonal merupakan komunikasi yang terbentuk antara komunikan dan komunikator. Komunikasi interpersonal merupakan bentuk komunikasi yang paling umum dan sering dipakai oleh kebanyakan orang. Komunikasi interpersonal juga dipakai dilingkungan sekolah antara guru dan murid dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Komunikasi Interpesonal sangat penting di lakukan seorang guru agar mampu memberikan pemahaman siswa sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Tujuan diadakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui komunikasi interpersonal guru dalam menciptakan pemahaman belajar siswa dan apa saja faktor pendukung dan penghambat guru dalam proses komunikasi interpersonal kepada siswa Madrasah Ibtida’iyah Nurul Irfan Kota Depok. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori penetrasi sosial yang dimana guru harus melakukan tahapan-tahapan untuk memahami para siswanya agar tercipanya komunikasi interpersonal yang baik dan pemahaman yang baik. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskritif dengan wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal yang guru lakukan untuk menciptakan pemahaman siswa dilakukan dengan lima tahapan yaitu orientasi dengan mulai saling menjelaskan diri, penjajakan pertukaran afektif dengan saling membuka diri dengan siswa, pertukaran afektif dengan adanya keterbukaan dan hubungan yang makin intim antara guru dan siswa, pertukaran stabil dimana siswa sudah sangat terbuka untuk bercerita dan menyampaikan kendala dan self disclosure dimana komunikasi interpersonal terjadi tanpa hambatan sehingga hal ini dapat membentuk pemahaman yang baik bagi siswa dalm proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Social media is a digital platform that enables its users to interact with each other by communicating and exchanging written, visual and audio information. This is because social media is a program that depends on the internet. The purpose of this research was to find out the utilization of Instagram BuddyKu social media as a means of up-to-date information. This study uses New Media theory where researchers use this theory as a measuring tool or support in this study because social media is present as this new media. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods with interviews and observations. The results of this study indicate that to seek information, BuddyKu makes several media portals a reference material for publishing on BuddyKu's Instagram social media. BuddyKu itself collects related information in all fields. BuddyKu also analyzes what news is trending on social media. BuddyKu processes content with an attractive design and simple headlines. BuddyKu focuses on the core of the discussion and there are illustrations so that the content is easier for the audience to understand.

Abstract

This thesis is entitled "Transcendental Communication: in the Handbook of Solemn Prayer by Dr. Said Bin Ali Bin Wahf Al-Qahthani”. This research discusses Transcendental Communication, where this research only focuses on one book, namely the book Guide to Solemn Prayer by Dr. Said Bin Ali Bin Wahf Al-Qahthani. The aim of this research is to find out what forms of transcendental communication in prayer are and to find out the meaning of transcendental communication in prayer through the book Khusyuk Prayer Guide by Dr. Said bin Ali bin Wahf Al-Qathani. This research uses semiotic theory based on transcendental communication. Data collection techniques were carried out using library research. In this research, it was found that transcendental communication is divided into two, namely verbal and non-verbal which includes movements and readings such as the meaning of takbiratul ikhram, Alfatiha, bowing, i'tidal, prostration, sitting between two prostrations, tahiyat, greetings.
