Abstract

This research was conducted to evaluate the website for new student admissions at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. Evaluation was carried out by applying the HOT-Fit model method to 4 components. Focus evaluation on technological, human, organizational and benefits components. The aim is to determine the level of usability of the Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo New Student Admissions System. The research method was carried out quantitatively by collecting questionnaire data from the committee and registrants. The HOT-Fit model is applied in determining system evaluation indicators. The results of the HOT-Fit model approach on 8 variables are good. There is a test value for System Quality (KS) with a value of 73.8 (Good), then Service Quality (KL) with a value of 82.0 (Very Good), then Information Quality (KI) with a value of 72.3 (Good), then System Usage (PS) with a value of 77.9 (Good), then User Satisfaction (KP) with a value of 74.2 (Good), then Organizational Environment (LO) with a value of 82.7 (Very Good), then Organizational Structure (SO ) with a score of 66.7 (Good), and System Benefits (MS) with a score of 82.2 (Very Good). Categories in 8 variables are good to use based on the HOT-Fit method with a value obtained of 76.5. The Usability Testing results are good for use based on the HOT-Fit method and the assessment of new students as respondents.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Library of Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. The aim is to design a web-based library information system with a digital concept (Digital Library). The design of the Digital Library information system of Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo, with a system design model using the prototyping model, provides a forum for students and lecturers, especially those on the campus of Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo to publish research results in the form of theses, journals, and theses into this digital library system. With this digital library it will facilitate access for prospective graduates, both the academic community and academics outside the campus, who will take literature as a reference for the final report or thesis. Provide convenience in disseminating useful information or knowledge and help students conduct research.

Abstract

The concepts of efficiency and quality represent pivotal dimensions within contemporary manufacturing sectors. The amalgamation of manufacturing technology with design software, alongside the deployment of 3D scanning technology, is instrumental in the realization of these objectives, particularly within the framework of Industry 4.0. This investigation delves into the synthesis of manufacturing technology with design software and the utilization of 3D scanning technology in relation to Industry 4.0. More precisely, this research seeks to ascertain the most recent innovations in technology integration while assessing the advantages and obstacles associated with 3D scanning technology in the manufacturing domain. A methodological approach encompassing a literature review in conjunction with case studies is employed. Case studies were executed at PT. Metalindo Teknik Utama, a manufacturing entity, to examine the practical implications of technology integration.Qualitative analysis is used to identify patterns and critical findings. The study reveals significant advancements in technology integration, particularly in CAD, CAM, IoT, and IIoT, contributing to increased production efficiency and responsiveness to market changes. Additionally, Autodesk Inventor applications show potential in enhancing product design, evaluation, and production processes. These findings suggest that the integration of technology with design software and the adoption of 3D scanning technology have the potential to revolutionize the manufacturing process, improving efficiency and quality. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating manufacturing technology with design software and adopting 3D scanning technology in the manufacturing industry. Insights gained from this research provide valuable guidance for industry practitioners in optimizing production processes and remaining competitive in the era of Industry 4.0.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji terkait penerapan blockchain sebagai fitur pelindung data di Pustipada UINSU. Hal ini, menjadi fokus kajian terhadap pemanfaatan blockchain untuk menjaga integritas data civitas akademik kampus Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. Sehingga, blockchain memiliki potensi dalam menjagaan data untuk menghindari aktivitas peretesan maupun kebocoran data. Dalam kajian ini menggunakan Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dan pendekatan studi kasus untuk mengkaji implementasi teknologi blockchain dalam keamanan data di PUSTIPADA UINSU secara komprehensif. Dengan teori kriptografi sebagai dasar, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi langsung, dan analisis dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan: 1. faktor teknis, 2. sosial, 3. Infrastruktur. Dalam mempengaruhi keberhasilan implementasi. Hasilnya adalah teknologi blockchain, yang berbasis pada kriptografi, menawarkan prospek signifikan untuk diadopsi di beragam sektor, termasuk pendidikan. Dalam konteks spesifik database kampus atau PUSTPADA UINSU, penerapan teknologi blockchain dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan proteksi dan integritas data. Beberapa aspek penting yang perlu dipertimbangkan. A). Infrastruktur teknologi informasi yang ada harus mampu mendukung implementasi blockchain. B). Pertimbangan hukum dan regulasi yang berlaku juga harus diperhatikan. C). Pemahaman yang memadai tentang teknologi blockchain di antara pengguna dan pihak yang terlibat sangatlah penting. Oleh karena itu, meskipun teknologi blockchain menunjukkan potensi yang besar, penerapannya harus dipertimbangkan secara hati-hati dan melibatkan berbagai pihak yang relevan. Adopsi teknologi baru seperti ini bukanlah proses yang sederhana, namun memerlukan pemikiran dan perencanaan yang matang. Kata Kunci : Blockchain, Kriptografi, Keamanan Data, Pustipada UINSU.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test an automatic cassava dryer that can improve the efficiency and quality of the drying process. The research methodology includes the design and construction of equipment and performance testing through a series of experiments measuring humidity levels, drying time, and energy consumption. The results of the study indicate that the automatic cassava dryer can reduce drying time by up to 50% compared to conventional methods, thus providing more uniform and quality end results. The discussion in this article includes a technical analysis of the device, a comparison with traditional drying methods, and an economic and environmental assessment. The conclusion of this study is that the automatic cassava dryer is an improvement in the cassava drying process that is effective, efficient and has the potential to be applied on an industrial scale. This study aims to develop an efficient cassava dryer for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The main problems faced by MSMEs in cassava processing are inefficiency of time and cost and low product quality due to suboptimal drying methods. This dryer is designed using [type of technology] and [materials used] technology, with a focus on energy efficiency and drying speed. The test results show that this tool is able to reduce drying time by up to 50% compared to traditional methods, as well as improve the quality of dried cassava in terms of texture and color. This drying tool is expected to help MSMEs increase productivity and product quality, as well as open up opportunities for the development of other cassava processed products.

Abstract

The Regional Government Implementation Reporting Application within the Gorontalo City Government is an information system designed to increase efficiency, transparency and accountability in the implementation of regional government duties and responsibilities. This application aims to simplify the reporting process for regional government administration, facilitate access to information for the public, and strengthen internal monitoring mechanisms. By utilizing information technology, this application provides a platform that allows government administrators in Gorontalo City to report their activities, projects and performance achievements in a structured manner. The collected data can be accessed by related parties, including the general public, through a user-friendly interface. This provides opportunities for active community participation in monitoring and evaluating local government performance. This application is also equipped with adequate security features to protect sensitive data and maintain information integrity. Additionally, strong authentication mechanisms are implemented to ensure that incoming reports come from legitimate sources. The sustainability and development of this application is guaranteed through ongoing maintenance and adjustment in accordance with the needs and changes in the local government environment. By implementing the Regional Government Administration Reporting Application, it is hoped that it can create a system that is responsive, transparent and responsible, so that it can have a positive impact on the quality of public services and development in Gorontalo City.

Abstract

This research aims to design a Web-based Building Services Search Information System and implement a Web-Based Building Builder Services Search Information System. This research was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. In RAD, users and analysts participate in three stages. The three stages are implementation, RAD design and requirements planning. With these stages, the application of the RAD method is very appropriate and suitable for developing website-based systems. The results of this research were that the researcher had previously conducted an interview with one of the head builders. Craftsmen in their profession as builders are to get work that suits their skills, only certain people know and understand the workman's performance, what field the craftsman is skilled in, so if there is a special job that must be done by a craftsman that suits his skills. So the employer must meet the craftsman directly and ask about the craftsman's skills. Conclusion: We have succeeded in designing a web-based information system for searching for construction services, able to make it easier for customers (employers) to search for construction services according to the skills required by customers (employers), as well as making it easier for builders to find work that suits the craftsman's skills. With this information system, it can help builders and customers (employers) in the process of searching for builders according to their expertise in the form of the Web or other web browsers.

Abstract

Penyakit dan hama pada tanaman buah naga dapat menyebabkan kerugian bagi para petani. Pengembangan sistem pakar berbasis web untuk penyakit pada buah naga dapat membantu pertani dalam meningkatkan produksi buah naga. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, sistem pakar penyakit buah naga yang memanfaatkan metode Modified K-Nearest Neighbor (M-KNN) untuk menganalisis gejala penyakit dan memberikan rekomendasi penelitian. Sistem ini memungkinkan pengguna, terutama petani dan ahli pertanian, untuk mengaksesnya melalui platform web dengan mudah. Untuk Keluaran Saat merancang suatu sistem, analisis sistem dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat diagram yang disebut Unified Field Language Modeling (UML), yang mencakup diagram use case, spesifikasi use case, diagram aktivitas, diagram sequence, dan diagram kelas. Sistem ini digunakan untuk mempelajari jenis-jenis penyakit buah naga berdasarkan gejala yang terdapat pada tanaman buah naga. Untuk menunjukkan hasil penelitian ini, dilakukan pengujian keakuratan sistem menggunakan matriks konfusi dengan menggunakan 90% data latih dan 10% dari Data uji, sehingga menghasilkan akurasi sistem hasil pakar sebesar 84%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini termasuk pada jenis penelitian kualitatif Tindakan(Action Research), dengan fokus pada pembuatan Alat Pemantauan Ketinggian Air dan Peringatan Dini Banjir Berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Masyarakat tidak bisa mengantisipasi banjir yang bisa terjadi sewaktu-waktu di daerah rawan banjir, itulah permasalahan yang teridentifikasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu masyarakat setempat dalam melakukan pengecekan ketinggian air dan mendapatkan peringatan dini ketika bencana banjir akan datang serta dapat mengurangi dampak lebih besar yang akan terjadi akibat bencana banjir. Hasilnya, prototipe berhasil dibangun menggunakan Mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP8266, sensor ultrasonic, buzzer, Led, dan menggunakan aplikasi blynk sebagai notifikasi status banjir. Prototipe ini efektif dalam mendeteksi saat akan terjadinya banjir. Diharapakan, system ini dapat mempermudah Masyarakat memonitoring dan memprediksi ancaman bahaya banjir.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepuasan pengguna terhadap kualitas sistem informasi SI – EKA di kementerian agama menggunakan metode webqual . Teknik analisis yang digunakan analisis adalah kuantitatif, Metode yang digunakan adalah webqual .Teknik yang digunakan dalam menentukan ukuran sampel dari suatu populasi yaitu teknik slovin .Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 155 sampel penelitian ini adalah Pada hasil analisis deskriptif memperoleh nilai persentase untuk kategori setuju dengan persentase Sebesar 42,58% yang dapat disimpulkan berarti sebagian besar pegawai setuju dengan peryataan mengenai kepuasan pegawai terhadap sistem informasi SI – EKA. Dari hasil yang diperoleh dapat dilihat bahwa pengguna merasa sistem informasi SI – EKA mudah untuk digunakan dan sistem informasi SI – EKA mempunyai kualitas yang sangat baik.
