Abstract

Effective procurement and maintenance practices play an important role in the success of an organization and have a direct effect on organizational performance. However, many organizations still find it difficult to optimize these practices. This study aims to examine more deeply the optimization of procurement and maintenance management of office facilities and infrastructure in Nguter Sub-district. The qualitative method is employed in this research to provide a deeper understanding of the research objectives. In collecting data, this study used direct and structured interviews with four important informants at the Nguter Sub-district Office. Data validity techniques use triangulation, and data analysis techniques include data collection, data condensation, data display, and verification. The findings of this study reveal that the practice of procurement and maintenance of facilities and infrastructure in Nguter Sub-district has run according to procedures. In procurement practices, Nguter Sub-district has implemented three methods, namely purchase, rental, and repair. Meanwhile, maintenance of office facilities and infrastructure is carried out by routine, preventive and repressive maintenance. The procurement and maintenance budgets come from APBD funds. The integration of good and optimal procurement and maintenance practices had a positive impact on improving organisational performance.

Abstract

Numerous variables continue to contribute to the reduction in staff performance at Community Health Centers. By using employee job satisfaction interventions as health care interventions, this study seeks to examine the effects of organizational leadership and culture on service performance. A total of 47 respondents were sampled for this quantitative descriptive study. According to the research's findings, job satisfaction is one way that leadership and organizational culture have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Leadership and organizational culture also have a positive and significant impact on employee performance.

Abstract

The learning process in archival studies has not yet reached an ideal state for achieving graduate-level competencies. The influence of ICT integration in archival practice within higher education on students’ self-directed learning remains underexplored. This study aims to analyze students’ self-directed learning in archival practice using the Digital Filing Cabinet (DFC). A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, involving 68 students enrolled in the Archival Management course at the Vocational Faculty of Yogyakarta State University. Data was collected using an online questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive statistical methods to portray students’ levels of self-directed learning. The findings reveal that the use of DFC supports the development of students’ cognitive skills and fosters self-directed learning in archival management. Further research is recommended to explore the effectiveness of DFC in relation to other variables within the archival learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of organizational commitment, work ability, and work motivation on the performance of employees in Tenun Lurik MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), both partially and simultaneously. The research employs a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. The research subjects consisted of all 101 employees of Tenun Lurik MSMEs in DIY, using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. Instrument validity was tested using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), and reliability was tested using Cronbach’s Alpha. The research findings reveal that: (1) Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a regression coefficient (β) of 0.723 and a contribution (∆R²) of 40.5%; (2) Work ability has a positive and significant effect on performance, with a coefficient (β) of 0.732 and a contribution of 45.6%; (3) Work motivation also has a positive and significant effect on performance, with a coefficient (β) of 0.755 and a contribution of 45.5%; (4) Simultaneously, the three variables contribute 49.9% to employee performance, while the remaining 50.1% is influenced by other variables outside this study.

Abstract

In the digital transformation era and the widespread adoption of remote work, employees must possess strong information and digital literacy skills. This study aims to examine the effect of information and digital literacy on remote work satisfaction and performance. The study also aims to investigate the mediating role of information literacy in the relationship between digital literacy and remote work performance. This study employed a quantitative research design using a cross-sectional survey approach. A total of 68 remote workers were selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The findings indicate that both information and digital literacy significantly and positively impact remote work satisfaction and performance. Furthermore, information literacy was found to mediate the effect of digital literacy on remote work performance, suggesting that individuals with higher digital skills are more likely to perform effectively when they can also effectively manage and utilize information. This study contributes a novel perspective by highlighting the dual role of literacy as a foundational and mediating factor in enhancing remote work outcomes. Then, the practical standpoint, the results underscore the importance of organizations investing in literacy development programs to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity in digital environments.
