Abstract

Harendong Bulu with the Latin name Clidemia hirta is a plant that belongs to the Melastomataceae family, this plant usually has medicinal properties. This study aims to obtain morphological, anatomical, organoleptic data, and identify the chemical content of the harendong bulu (Clidemia hirta) plant. The research design used is an experimental laboratory. Morphological examination showed that the harendong bulu (Clidemia hirta) belongs to the class of magnoliopsida with woody stems, the shape of the stem is round, the surface of the stem is hairy, scaly and brown in color and the root system is tapped. Anatomical examination showed that the harendong bulu (Clidemia hirta) plant has epidermis, endodermis, cuticle, stomata, vessels, xylem and phloem, periskel, cortex, and calcium oxatate crystals. On organoleptic examination, the leaves of Harendong Bulu (Clidermia hirta) have a bitter and sweet taste and a characteristic odor, while the stems have a bitter taste and a characteristic odor, and the roots have an astringent bitter taste and odorless. Chemical identification of harendong bulu leaf powder obtained positive results for tannins (catechols and pyrogalotanins), dioxyanthraquinones, steroids, saponins, glycosides and phenols.Harendong Bulu with the Latin name Clidemia hirta is a plant that belongs to the Melastomataceae family, this plant usually has medicinal properties. Abstract

Immunization that is injected into the baby's body can cause pain or pain in the baby. The pain experienced by infants during immunization is an emotional experience that makes the baby uncomfortable because of the damage to the tissues in the baby's body. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the 5'S method (Swaddling, Side/Stomach Position, Sushi, Swinging and Sucking) on reducing pain in infants after basic immunization injections. This research method uses a quasi-experimental, using a research design of One Group Pre-test and Post-test without a control group. The sample used in this study was the entire population (total sampling), namely mothers who came for immunization in November as many as 33 babies. The statistical test used in this study using the Wilcoxon test, used to see the effect between two variables with a 95% confidence degree. The results of this study were the response to pain in infants after basic immunization injections before the 5'S method was carried out, the majority experienced severe pain. There was a decrease in pain in infants after basic immunization after the 5'S method the majority experienced moderate pain. The conclusion that the 5'S method is effective in reducing the pain response of infants aged 0-4 months when immunization injection is performed is based on the concept that 4 months after birth, the baby is not fully ready to be outside the womb, the baby longs for a comfortable sensation like being in the womb. Suggestions for the Puskesmas are that it is hoped that the results of this study can be taken into consideration in making SOPs (Standard Operatinal Procedures) in calming babies and can socialize to mothers, that 5'S actions are very beneficial for babies and explain the negative effects of pain and crying that are not treated immediately. Keywords: 5’s, painful, immunization

Abstract

Sleep quality is a measure where a person finds it easy to start sleeping, is able to maintain sleep quality and feels relaxed after waking from sleep. Sleep quality affects overall health and quality of life. The quality of a mother's sleep during pregnancy is heavily influenced by the physical and psychological changes she experiences. (Delaune & Ladner, 2011). Efforts that can be made to overcome sleep difficulties in pregnant women include doing light exercise that is safe for pregnant women, hypnotherapy, providing health education on how to maintain sleep quality and relaxation exercises. One of the sports that pregnant women can do is Pilates (Hegard, 2010). The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the effectiveness of Pilates exercise on sleep quality in third trimester pregnant women. The research design used was a quasi-experimental, in the form of one group pre-test and post-test design. The sample in this study were pregnant women in the third trimester at Clinic Pratama Bunda Patimah as many 30 respondents. The sampling technique was carried out by consecutive sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire. The PSQI is an effective instrument used to measure sleep quality and sleep patterns in adults. The results of the analysis using the bivariate Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test obtained a significance value of p value = 0.00 (p value <0.05). This means that there are differences in the quality of sleep of pregnant women before and after pilates exercise at Clinic Pratama Bunda Patimah, so that there is an influence of pilates exercise on the quality of sleep of pregnant women in the third trimester at Clinic Pratama Bunda Patimah. Keywords: Pilates Exercise, Sleep Quality, Pregnant Women, Third Trimester

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic presents a major challenge to the pre-employment health screening system for nurses looking for jobs. For this reason, a pre-employment screening system is needed that sort it easier for all parties (nurses as prospective employees, companies, and company owners) in the health screening system. To offer a health screening system in the form of Remote Pre-employment Health Screening for nurses from the occupational health nursing (OHN) perspectives. The study used  Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA) Analysis with qualitative descriptive methods. The documents were extracted from Google Scholar, ResearchGate, and PubMed. The indicators included respondents (nurses), research methods (mixture of quantitative, document review, case study, opinion, and report), years (2016-2021), results (focus on pre-employment health screening), and language (English). Document search used the PICOT (Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome, and Time) model. The search keywords were pre-employment health screening, OHN, and Covid-19. After analyzing the documents in the database (n=702), the records were eligible (n=10), and met the requirements for review (n=7). The findings of reviewed records were that the pandemic caused a disastrous impact on the nursing profession including the need to review the pre-employment health screening system. To prepare a remote pre-employment health screening system, the study suggests organization to a three in one formula: to make a memorandum of understanding, to set health examination standards, and to create an electronic application.   Keywords: Pre-employment, health screening, OHN, occupational healthCovid-19.

Abstract

One of the sectors from the work is a serious concern in the  aspect of occupational safety and health (K3) is the informal work sector. The widespread phenomenon of the informal sector absorbs many workers in Indonesia. One of the existing informal employment sectors is fish packaging work. The purpose of this research is to analyze aspects of occupational safety and health which are examined from aspects of the work environment, work tools and materials as well as how to do the work. This research is a descriptive type with a case study approach. The object of this research is the location of fish packaging work and several fish packaging workers who can provide information related to occupational safety and health aspects. The results of the study are aspects of a dangerous work environment such as noise, humidity, poor housekeeping and lack of work motivation and career paths. Aspects of work tools and materials, namely there are no work rules, inadequate working equipment conditions, no work facilities, low awareness of the use of equipment and the unavailability of personal protective equipment. Aspects of how to do work in terms of working not carefully, working without using personal protective equipment such as gloves, bending and squatting work attitudes. The potential for work accidents is being pierced by fish thorns, being hit by an ice block, being scratched by a saw and falling because the floor is slippery. Control efforts in the fish packaging workplace are almost non-existent, namely there is no technical control, no administrative control and no control using personal protective equipment, this is evidenced by the number of workers who do not use gloves made of rubber. Keywords: The Environment of Work, Tools and Materials, How to Work
